Welcome to Season 1 of the Nurses that Wow! Podcast

On this episode, Adrian Espinosa, MPH, MS, RN, PHN, FNP-BC discusses his current practice as a Nurse Practitioner working in San Jose, California and the struggles he has overcome in his nursing journey. He also notes cultural implications of working with, and treating the Latinx community.  Adrian shares how fortunate he is to work with some of our most vulnerable populations via community and county health systems.

Adrian is the immediate Past President of the Greater San Jose Chapter of NAHN, national board member for the National Association of Hispanic Nurses, and President of the Supernova Foundation, a non-profit he co-founded eleven years ago.  Adrian's mantra learned by his Abuelita is "Un Dia A La Vez" (One Day at a Time).
