Episode description

DC and Ashton discuss Proverbs 16:3 and its implications for Christian entrepreneurs.

The Hebrew word for 'commit' in the verse means to roll away, give, and trust. In order for a Christian entrepreneur to successfully commit to the Lord whatever they do, they must have humility. Ashton suggests that this means putting God in charge of all work. The hosts also emphasize the importance of seeking God and His guidance as it pertains to plans and actions. Ultimately, they remind entrepreneurs to lean on God, and He will establish their plans.

The conversation is about how to make plans that are in line with God's will and truly serve a purpose. It is argued that if someone is not in charge, their plans won't matter, regardless of how great they think they may be. In order to succeed, the plans must be connected and submitted to God's will.

Additionally, success isn't always measurable, and sometimes it is our hearts which can guide us to determine if the plans are successful. This is seen by looking for signs of peace, rather than stress. It is also noted that when seeking God and His will, there are certain things that cannot be done without Him, and it is only through Him that the glory will be given.
