Episode description

Mass protests broke out in Israel after six hostages were found dead in Gaza, including an Israeli-American. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asked the families of the hostages for forgiveness, as he faces mounting pressure to accept a cease-fire and hostage deal. That came as the United Kingdom decided to suspend some arms sales to Israel.

President Joe Biden campaigned with Vice President Kamala Harris in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Just like Biden, Harris opposed the sale of U.S. steel to Japan's Nippon Steel, saying the American steel maker should remain domestically owned.

U.S. agents seized a plane used by Venezuelan socialist leader Nicolas Maduro in the Dominican Republic. The Justice Department said the plane's purchase violated U.S. sanctions.
