A shooter killed four people and injured at least nine others at a high school in Winder, Georgia. Authorities have detained the suspect—a 14-year-old student at the school.

The Justice Department indicted two editors-in-chief for the Russian state-owned media outlet RT. The department said that the individuals acted as unregistered agents for Russia. They allegedly paid $10 million to a company in Tennessee for distributing English-language content online that favors the Kremlin.

A severe heat will scorch parts of the United States from Florida to California this week. Thirty-two major cities are preparing to bear the brunt of it, with temperatures soaring into triple digits in several areas.
