The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his former defense minister, and top Hamas leaders. Netanyahu condemned the warrant against him, stating that Israel “rejects with disgust the absurd and false actions.”
Ukraine claimed that Russia launched an intercontinental ballistic missile at one of its cities overnight. Russian President Vladimir Putin said his country fired a new intermediate-range ballistic missile, which U.S. air defense systems cannot intercept.
A major storm swept through Northern California, damaging homes, toppling trees, and dropping heavy snow and record rainfall. The storm also killed two people and knocked out power to hundreds of thousands in the Pacific Northwest.
