The committee is scheduled to revisit the matter on December 5th.
Jose Ibarra, the undocumented immigrant from Venezuela convicted of murdering Laken Riley while she was jogging, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, Wednesday. Judge Patrick Haggard found Ibarra guilty on 10 charges, including one count of malice murder, three counts of felony murder, and other offenses, such as kidnapping, aggravated assault with intent to rape, and tampering with evidence.
