President Trump signed an executive order today to begin dismantling the U.S. Department of Education. The order highlights the wastefulness and ineffectiveness of maintaining such a department, stating that closing the Department of Education "would provide children and their families the opportunity to escape a system that is failing them."

Sirens sounded in Israel today after rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip in what could be the first such attack from Hamas since the fighting resumed. Shortly afterward, the Houthis in Yemen also fired a missile toward the country.
