The FBI released photos of items recovered from the scene of former President Donald Trump's assassination attempt, including those of the gunman's rifle and backpack. The agency said the gunman's motive is still unclear, but his online search history revealed a “sustained, detailed effort to plan an attack on some event."

Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate Gov. Tim Walz kicked off a two-day bus tour in Georgia. Trump will hold a Town Hall in La Crosse, Wisconsin, on Wednesday. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will remain on the ballots in Michigan and Wisconsin, despite his efforts to remove his name after suspending his bid.

The U.S. Supreme Court rejected the Biden administration's request to revive its federal student debt relief plan. The new SAVE plan would have provided a faster path to loan cancellation, and reduced monthly income-based repayments. An appeals court is expected to issue a fuller decision.

In France, authorities have issued preliminary charges against Telegram CEO Pavel Durov for allegedly allowing illegal activities on his social media platform. He has been released from custody on bail but is not allowed to leave France during the investigation.

Israeli forces conducted major counter-terrorism operations across multiple cities in the West Bank. Palestinian officials said at least 10 people were killed.
