What do you do in life doesn't go according to plan? When you're knocked on your ass crying in public, we're seriously contemplating leaving your job, or relationship or both. I realized I don't think we should get married, and I left the relationship and it was very, very scary for me. I'm Brook Shields and this is now What a podcast about defining moments, so it begs the question are you

still a virgin? Now? Not those moments. I'm talking about make or break moments, those times when you look at your current reality and ask yourself, now, what do I do? Fertility brought me to my knees, and I thought I was tough. I've had many over the years, divorce, miscarriage, losing my best friend to suicide, and not too long ago, I suffered a freak accident that left me hospitalized for weeks,

and it got me thinking, what about other people? What are their pivotal moments, What choices did they make, and how did those choices change their lives? I call these moments now What moments. Each week, I'll sit down with award winning actors, celebrated authors, friends and experts to talk about their now What moments I went upstairs when I got the reject the letter, and I shaved my head.

Some are unbelievable, Yeah, it was probably my decision to lea VR and to walk away from twenty seven million dollars. Others are a punch to the gut, you know. I had to learn how to walk again. My right leg lost its strength and my left leg lost its feeling. But all are part of the human experience, and what we do in the face of the unexpected says so
