Novelcast 26: Pat Carroll

Pat Carroll is Sydney composer/producer exploring the introspective side of electronic music. With music grounded between electroacoustic theory and groove-based music, Carroll's sound is characterised by gradually transforming soundscapes often behind strong, driving percussion. His recent single ‘Plateau’ is a beautiful piece of electronica that has seen him receive comparisons to producers like Jon Hopkins and Four Tet. Pat Carroll is definitely one of Australia’s most promising producers.
