Surat Al-Baqarah - Part 34

Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan delves into the mesmerising Tafseer of Ayats 96-98 of Surah Al Baqarah. Ayah 96 reiterates the fact that it is essential to not get completely involved in this world, and remember Allah (SWT) and the Hereafter come what may. Long Life won’t save one from accountability as this world is a prison for the believer and Paradise for the disbeliever. He who longs to meet Allah SWT is not afraid of death and if one is not prepared for death, they will wish that their death time is delayed. Allah SWT says that He knows what His servants are doing. The good and evil all is being noted down in our records and we will be compensated accordingly. Ayat 97 has Allah SWT elaborating that whoever becomes an enemy of Angel Jibreel who is the messenger of the Glorious Quran will have taken all the messengers as enemies. Also, whoever believes in one Messenger must believe in all of the Messengers.  ► People must love and remember Allah SWT in their hearts. ► People must remember Him with their tongues in solitude and in a crowd. ► People must do the deeds that please Him and abandon those which displease Him.
