Episode description

Today's word of the day is 'NCAA' as in college athletics as in college football as in what is this mess we're dealing with? UCONN announced today that it would be cancelling its football season (0:06). The Big Ten released its schedule for the fall season. How did this happen? I have some questions. And as we were talking Big Ten the athletes released a statement on The Players' Tribune. They listed some items that they want taken care of before they agree to play this season. We need to talk about what I agree with in this release (12:00). The Pac-12 is taking out loans for their schools in case they lose revenue this year. This is fascinating and I need to explain this to you all (18:45). So You Wanna Talk To Samson!? Someone asked me if I believed it was possible that Colorado State football coaches told players not to report coronavirus symptoms (23:42). Now let's talk about false positives. Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford was put on the covid-IR after a positive test that came back as a false-positive (33:45). Review - Rolling Thunder Revue - A Bob Dylan Story (42:30). #waittosee --------------------------- 'Nothing Personal with David Samson' is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, Google Podcasts, Castbox, Bullhorn and wherever else you listen to podcasts.   Follow David on Twitter: @DavidPSamson  To watch David on CBS Sports HQ visit https://www.cbssports.com/live/ To hear more from the CBS Sports Podcast Network, visit https://www.cbssports.com/podcasts/ https://www.youtube.com/nothingpersonalwithdavidsamson Learn more about your ad choices.
