Are we teetering on the brink of the last days? Unravel this compelling question with me, Pastor Robert Young, as we journey through the scriptures to discern the signs and challenges of these uncertain times. We not only confront the trials that lie ahead but also ignite hope by focusing on the promise of a new dawn for all believers. This exploration goes beyond surface-level discourse, delving into the heart of our faith. It's not just about the struggles we face, but the ultimate reward that awaits us. Together, we find comfort and encouragement in the scriptures, standing firm in our faith despite the tribulations we may encounter.

Have you ever considered how essential understanding the scriptures is for our spiritual growth? We emphasize this need, exploring how personal interpretation of the scriptures can bolster our faith. With this series concluding, we eagerly anticipate the upcoming series on the Eurocentric depiction of Christ and its impact on our generation. As we pause and prepare for this new journey, may these shared words inspire and strengthen you. May you find the courage to face your challenges, fortified by the hope and promise of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Until we meet again, may God's abundant blessings permeate all your endeavors.

Intro / Opening

Pastor Robert Young

Ever wonder how and if the Bible has relevance for today . On this podcast , we provide biblical answers to today's tough questions . Hi friends , I'm Pastor Robert Young . We have 30-plus years of church planting and mentoring other pastors , 30-plus years of training leaders in evangelism and discipleship .

Our team of missionaries go into jails , rehabs , parks , street corners , coffee houses and any place unchurched people gather . We present the true , untainted gospel . We ask questions and give answers as we conduct surveys . We do this so that you can make a true , informed decision about Jesus Christ . And today our question is, are we living in the last days ?

Part 3 , the conclusion ? We will attempt to answer this question next on the podcast . Hi friends , and welcome to our last installment of

Are We Living in the Last Days the conclusion

Are we Living in the Last Days series . I hope that you've received encouragement and some clarification about this most pressing topic . Throughout this sermon series on the last days , we've journeyed together through passages of scriptures that illuminate the signs , challenges and promises surrounding this momentous time .

We have examined Jesus' words on the signs of the last days from Matthew 24 , that reminds us to be prepared and rooted in our faith . We've found comfort in the promise of resurrection and transformation , knowing that our loved ones in Christ are not lost but await us in heavenly glory from the Book of 1 Corinthians 15-52 .

And we've been stirred by the reminder to persevere even amidst the moral decay and falsehoods that may surround us from the Book of Jude , 1-18 . These truths encourage us to live with hope , even as the world may seem increasingly chaotic and uncertain

More Scriptures for Further Study

. Here are some more , but certainly not all , of the scriptures that talk about the conditions that will be happening during the last days . 2 Timothy 3-1-17 . 2 Peter 3-18 . 1 John 2-18 . 1 Timothy 4-1-5 . 1 Thessalonians 5-2-11 .

I give you these scriptures to help you understand what the state of the world will be before we look at the Book of Revelation when it talks about the actual last days , what they will look like . We will tackle the Book of Revelation at a later time on this podcast .

As we conclude this sermon series on the last days , we must hold fast to the truth that the trials and tribulations we face are not the end of the

No Fear

story . The signs of the times should not breed fear , but rather inspire us to be faithful and steadfast in our walk with Jesus Christ . We've been reminded of the challenge we may encounter the opposition to God's truth , the temptation to compromise and the ethical conflicts of a fallen world .

Yet , in the midst of these challenges , we've been called to shine brightly , reflecting the love and character of Christ in the darkness . May our lives serve as a testament to the hope that we have in Christ . As we now conclude this sermon series on the last days , let us fix our gaze upon the ultimate promise that awaits us , as Peter declares .

But in keeping with this promise , we're looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth where righteousness dwells and as found in the book of 2 Peter , 3 , verse 13 .

Our Glorious Hope

The book of Revelation reveals a breathtaking picture of this restored creation where there will be no more pain , no more suffering and no more tears . This is our glorious hope , a future secured by the finished work of Christ . So let us press on , knowing that our labor in the Lord is not in vain . 1 Corinthians 15 , verse 8 .

As we leave this series , may we go forth with renewed hope and anticipation .

May we be anchored in our faith , prepared for the signs , encouraged to persevere and feel with the assurance of a glorious future and , above all , my friends, may we live our lives as a witness to the hope we have in Jesus Christ , pointing others to the ultimate promise of new beginnings in Him .

And may God bless and empower us to be a light in these last days . And friends , if you've been listening

A Call to Action! Accept Jesus as Savior!

to the podcast for any length of time , or if this is your first time listening and you've come to the realization that you need and that you want and that you got to have this Jesus Christ that we talk about on this podcast , then you know the formula is very simple, to repent of your sins because you realize that you have sinned and fallen short of pleasing

God . You realize that only the Savior , who came , died , resurrected , was resurrected and is coming back for all those who believe on Him . Then say this sinner's prayer with me, Father , I repent of my sins , I ask that you would forgive me and save me . I believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior and that he died on the cross so that I could be forgiven .

I receive Him now in Jesus' name and , father , I pray that you would fill me with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost . I receive Him now in the name of Jesus Christ , amen .

Now , friends , if you said that with a sincere heart , the Bible lets us know that your name has been written up in heaven in a book called the Lamb's Book of Life , but it doesn't stop there . This is just the beginning .

I need you to go and do some research in your community and find a Bible-believing , Bible-teaching , Christ-honoring , God-worshipping church where you can grow and continue this wonderful relationship with Jesus Christ . Why church ?

Well , this is a place where you can go and be of a benefit to others , where you can receive further encouragement , information , clarification , socialization and all those wonderful things , and can enjoy the challenges that's coming our way with renewed hope , because you know that Christ , that God , is in control of everything .

So , my friend , do that for me and go back and read through some of the scriptures that we've talked about .

And if you don't have a version of the Bible that makes it clear and plain to you , go online and find a different version of the Holy Scriptures and read them , meditate on them , ask God to help you to understand them and to apply them in your life with His strength and His power , and I guarantee you he wants to secure His children .

Next week , we're starting a new series, we're going to be talking about the image of Christ and how it has affected a whole generation of people . Until then , next time , I'm your host , pastor Robert Young , and may God bless you .
