Looking Back on More Than 200 Episodes of Not Your Average Globetrotter

After living abroad for more than a decade I can't imagine what my life would have been like if I had stayed in my country of birth. It is now just shy of 4 years since I began posting and more than 6 years since originally embarking on creating Not Your Average Globetrotter. I can say I'm quite proud that I have been able to accomplish the original goal that I set out to do which was to make a difference and help people avoid some of the situations that I dealt with during my dual Italian citizenship process as well as throughout my life as an expat. I've learned a lot and have had a lot of fun... as well as many sleepless nights because of this project of mine. Life as an expat isn't easy and things aren't always perfect, but I can definitely say it has all been worth it. I feel as though I've not only learned about myself but also about the world around me, and I know there is still plenty more to learn. I genuinely look forward to the progression of the NYAG project and to see where it goes.
