Discovering the Freedom of Creating Medical Coding Content with Bleu Garcia: Part 1

Bleu is a certified medical coder and active member of The American Health Information Management Association where she currently holds a Certified Coding Associate credential.  She has been perfecting her craft since 2008, dedicated to sharpening her skills in the outpatient setting. Her experience in the clinical setting includes specialties such as: Orthopedics, Podiatry, Rheumatology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Urology, Pulmonology, Psychiatry, Traumatic Brain Injury, OBGYN, Cardiology, Oncology, and Neurology.  She is also proficient in Same Day Surgery, Emergency Room Department and Pro-fee coding as well.  A self-described “Provider Whisperer” she understands the importance of Provider-Medical Coder relationships. Taking the time to cultivate and nurture those relationships is an important component to her brand of magic.  In her capacity as a medical coder, she has also served as an instructor, motivational speaker, coach, and mentor.  Medical coding is not just a job to her, it is a career.  She is the host of her very own YouTube and Patreon channels both titled: “Medical Coding with Bleu” where she details about the field and shares her adventures as a medical coder.  She is a native Texan who has affections for fast cars, cowboy boots, cooking and reading.
