2020 has kind of thrash the planning for everyone and that includes for Sanjay Jegatheesan from Lion City Mead as he has admitted to me. Sanjay owns Lions City Mead nerds out with me on the brewing of mead with me, sharing the excitement in his eyes when he talked about brewing mead and the equipment, he owns to upgrading his home brew kit to flying to Melbourne to produce the mead. He talks about the business side of things and how 2020 had affected his business while how he and the brewery in Melbourne is coping during the difficult times. He shares the reason why he doesn’t open a brewery in Singapore and breaks down the cost of opening his business in Singapore.

He is also very grateful that he is able to start his own business and he talks about what is the prime age of owning a business and why it is a privilege to own one no matter how small the business is. He also shares the best thing to do for freelancers and getting people to help you with the work. He is very reserved in turning hobby or passion into livelihood. He shares the reason why music maybe a passion, it will just remain as what it is, a passion. Although planning to have an album out with his band, he also is worried about his band members and talks about moving forward. He also shares the lesson of starting out something new and be the pioneer of something in terms of business sense.
