Produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Marc Platt Productions, the film was directed by Marc Webb and written by Erin Cressida Wilson. It stars Rachel Zegler as the title character, a princess who escapes assassination by her stepmother, the Evil Queen (Gal Gadot), and joins with Seven Dwarfs and a rogue bandit named Jonathan (Andrew Burnap) to reclaim her kingdom.
