Jesus tells a story about a steward who was smart in planning ahead, and He encourages us to be just as wise--not for selfish gain, but for eternal purposes and that we should be wise and discerning with our resources. Faithfulness in managing even small blessings shows we can be trusted with even greater blessings. But we can't serve both God and money--we must choose who we really live for!
