There was this one time that I was able to get someone on the podcast that played in a UEFA Champions League match... this is that person! Maegan Kelly joins us from Houston where she is enjoying the off-season with the Houston Dash following up a 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup. Maegan is yet another KC native who spent her HS days at St. Teresa's where she made quite an impact starting her freshmen year. From there we go Into her days laying at Marquette University and of course her Draft Day story being selected by FCKC in 2014.
The story then gets a little more interesting as Maegan takes her talents overseas to Iceland, Finland and Italy and how she was able to play in the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE while in Italy. The story doesn't stop there as we talk about Maegan's time with the Canadian National team, playing for the now U.S. Women's national Team coach (Vlatko Andonovsky) and put an end to the debate on which Kelly sister (Maegan or Katie) is the better of the two.
