Episode 3 brings us Addisyn Merrick, current defender for the North Carolina Courage, former KU Jayhawk and KC Metro native (Lees Summit). Addisyn and I met during her standout senior year at KU when I befriended her head coach Mark Francis and was lucky enough to attend the latter part of the seasons training sessions into their Big XII Championship Tournament win and into NCAA. We talk about her youth days and early influences as well as her time at KU and into draft day 2020. Addisyn and I then talk about her rookie season in the NWSL and how she is getting prepared for next season! Luckily enough she carved out some time from her vacation to talk with us!
