The story of a family in a hotel at the end of the world that is starting to disappear.
Cal is desperate to find his dad. If he finds a working weather station he might be able to get a signal and make contact. Refusing to take Birdie with them, Cal and Jess venture out across the flooded island. Birdie, left alone in the hotel, discovers a hidden message.
