Episode description

CW: discussion of interpersonal racism, race related stress, trauma, emotional abuse, and gaslighting.

In this episode of No More Wahala, Inshallah we discuss the incredibly important idea of positionality (through the abyss that is a Zoom call). We cover what it means, how we position ourselves, how you can too, and why it is paramount to conversations of race and the racialised experience. From the suffocating way whiteness can shape the lives of BIPOC, to the draining nature of conversations about race, this episode hit a little too close to home for us. As such, we encourage all our BIPOC listeners to prioritise themselves and reach out to support networks for solidarity and comfort.

To learn more about positionality, we have collated some resources for you to explore in your own time HERE.
