When Melissa Mash was working at Coach, she noticed that people would often talk about different "handbag problems," from keys scratching their laptops to never being able to find their wallets. In 2013, Melissa partnered with Jessy Dover and Deepa Gandhi to co-found Dagne Dover, a direct to consumer handbag brand that combines fashion with functionality.
