Last time on no latency. So let's go ahead and just Bang Bang. Nice. Oh, it's bad. Well, I didn't sign up for this casting couch. Oh, it's not good. I'm trying to rule cool this as best I can you. Can be more on fire than you were before and also be dead. Have a slice. Nobody can hit you, Domino. I know he's a grunt, but that cockiness is going to come back to him so quick. See. Thanks, I rolled the dash really good. Good job Vendel. What a lazy bastard.

Oh. Dead right hand no. He was just that close to death, all right. Where the chiropractors? There's more where that came from. You're welcome, because they. 'D be blowing outbacks. Whoa, Hell yeah. Dominic No. That's not good. Just to be clear, we are saying that you're not human. I don't. Feel good about. That sounded strangely comfortable. Did we land on that? Oh shit, did he eat the Adam's apple? That's not good. Do you still think he's hot, baby?

I don't know how to answer that question, Ayanna. That's. That's totally famous. That that that itself is the answer. I will say I am concerned this is like. I am also concerned. We we should get this checked out. It's like worse than jobs. Well, I mean, yeah, I was going to say what's that supposed to mean? But actually in this case, yeah. Did I do something wrong? Technically yes you did. I know in your mind you don't think it was wrong and we will

figure out how to fix that. But as Jeb shared earlier, eating people is bad, so we will figure it out with how to control these urges. And you see him pull his arms back behind him and arch his back, and you hear the flesh that was torn open on his back congeal back into its original form and heal. The sound of a little bit of blood mixes with the rainfall in the puddles below. That's better. I'm sorry that you had to see that. But healing was necessary.

Survival. Yeah, but did you have to? You don't have to eat people to heal. I mean, we have a doctor on call and I gesticulate over to VV. Yes, yes, yes. V is having a lot of complicated thoughts. Truly. OK, you know what this is. This is a problem for later VV. OK, right now we have a problem in front of us that we need to figure out. And that is? Getting in this building and I guess destroying it. Well, there's there's a big hole in the wall where the car went through. OK, let's.

And and then looks like the the window directly in front of us is open and maybe the door over there as well. I think we can get in. Yes, let's start with that secret thing that I broke open. Well, what secret thing? There was like a secret door or wall or something that I shot, yeah. Yeah. Oh, there. Yeah, that. What do you do, Phoebe? I'm going to go in the window. Call. You climb through the window. I'm going. To climb through the window so.

So we're just looting now. We kind of, we came here, we fucked their shit up. Now we're just going to. I mean, were we just going to leave? Metro's already. Been going through the the pockets of bad boy and everybody else. Isn't that what we were doing already? You guys saying something? I wasn't paying attention. I was trying to get everything out of these guys pockets. Yes, we're going in the building. And I'll be there in a second. OK, all right.

I'm heading through the window and I'm going to go through the secret door. Anybody wants to follow or or go other ways? Excellent. You step into this room and as you step in you see a few crates on the ground. There's some closed lockers on the walls, some makeshift beds, and a dead body next to an exploded car. Do you leave this room? Yeah, OK. You're. Going to step into the back room. Yeah. You step into the backroom and it is a storage room of sorts. Larger crates.

They seem to have some sort of pretty generic parts for vehicles. It looks like one of the ways they made money was chopping up vehicles and reselling them. But as you step into the room, you step between 3 red barrels full of chew. Oh, OK, well. As you take another step into the room, you see that there are also three dead bodies in here. Oh. Back here. Whoa. Well, that's good for Vanna White, but that are these bodies maelstrom or just OK? If you want to know more, you'll

have to examine them. I will take a look 1 moment. Then, though, we should also go inside. It is raining and I, I don't, I don't want to be near the the body that you squished with your feet anymore. I'm going to wash my foot in this puddle over here and then I'll come in. Perfect. Awesome. Should I, should I wet my feet before I step through the broken window or afterwards? Before, please. OK, that's fine.

And then Dell does a little clean, a little shuffle in the rain, and steps in, shaking off the water. There's some close lockers in here. There's a dead guy over there. I've I just Jeb and Vivi are doing a thing in the in what is apparently a secret room, so I just can't be out of the rain. Fair enough. I wonder what they're up to. Just examining. Just examining some dead bodies. Yeah, you did You kill these people like real quick before I got here or? As you can see and I analyzed it.

Cool. They died of a broken heart. Well, no. The the guy in the back, though, you're old and 18. The guy in the back though, his face is very, very familiar. As you can see, Jeb, they've been dead for like over a week, which is pretty messed up. Who's that guy? This. Guy in the back, really familiar, recognize his face from somewhere, but he just he can't quite pin it. Jeb, do you recognize this person? What is something? Something looks familiar to that about them. Let's see.

I'm going to try to roll something to see if he concentrates with all of her brain to try to see if she can recognize the spades. You find a medical tag bracelet around one of his legs. Jeb, you rolled an 800 duction. You're fairly certain. Is it that guy? It's a banana. I think he's part of the banana crew. You ever heard of them? He's got a banana tattoo. Hold on, I'm going to take a closer look you. Must be part of the bananas. Ruthless. Watch out and you'll slip up.

Boo. Also, is it, oh this guy, Deckard Kane? Deckard. Not Deckard Kane, but yes. Yeah, I remember this guy because it's Harrison Ford. It's not the same guy. Oh, but his face is familiar. What the heck? This isn't the same. But his face is. Is this a clone do? You want to scan and find out. Yeah, Damon. Kane is from Diablo. Yes, Decker Kane is from Diablo. I'm. Thinking of Deckard. That was not his name. Who's Rick Deckard? Rick Deckard.

Rick. Deckard from Blade Runner, That art, that art is. Is is a homage. Is. A homage to a Blade Runner that Cyberpunk made anyway, sorry. 17 three you can. Close your. Indication. 3/3. Three months 'cause it's. Yeah, 'cause it's scan. Can please? Park in DNA match doctor. Glass. Now Vivi, if you remember your adventure, the clone that you did find was the third one. This is another clone. Does this say anything about what clone number it is or anything like that?

You're old. High enough. Yes, the label says 1. One on his eyelid. So it's it's the it's the oldest of the ones that went missing. Interesting. OK, well, the Maelstrom got a hold of a clone, but they probably, they probably didn't care. Like this, this, I don't know. This doesn't look like they're Emma or anything. So. I'm going to keep looking around. Cool. Yeah. Roll me a perception check in

this room. Perception 16 On the far left wall, next to a crate, you see the indentation of a hidden door. Oh, oh, there's another hidden door behind you. Jeb, can you just go check that little spot next to the crate there? Oh, just right here. Yeah, I don't know, just like push in or something, Push, push, push or pull just. OK, I guess I'll push. Whoa.

Jeb, you enter into the main lobby of this building and there are a bunch of lockers in here, some crates, and a scorched mark on the ground where Domino's Rocket blasted into the room. Yeah, I just kind of slipped right through. Oh, there's a scorch mark down here where a rocket must have hit. And one of their lockers is completely destroyed and anything in it is completely ruined. But there are other lockers in here are. You looting Jeb? Yeah, just just doing some looting.

I'm going to go check out what are these lockers? Great, sure, roll me one D6 for each locker you want to look through. First time officially using these dice in the game. Woo Hoo. 3. All right, you find 2 items. Oh. OK. That one first, yeah. You find 2 items in this locker. How many lockers are you looking through? I'm gonna I well, I guess we'll just keep going until I am satisfied. Sure, you open up another locker.

Or five. And you got 5 and a six. 03 again and then we'll just, I'll just keep going 2, five and last 1-2. Cool, so that is 9 different items. Wow. And here we go. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. 9 items. Damn. All right, I'm gonna have to make a note of all these. What'd you find, Jeff? Well, I found a Med kit and a cool magazine, which, you know, you you think I'm just saying that it's a cool magazine. No, no, this magazine, it's called Cool Magazine. Oh.

I've heard about that. It's about guns. Yeah, because of the because the magazine have a gun. Yeah, it just kind of does double duty there. That word in that title. Nice. I also found some armor piercing ammo. A frag grenade. Oh man, I would. I need that frag grenade. It's been a while since I had a grenade, so I'm just going to go ahead and make a note of that and oh, I'll find a baseball cap. GS 69. Oh, I. Don't know what GS stands for but I do know 69 cents.

Oh, was that? Gas station. Gas station that we. Went to. They have their own baseball caps, huh? Wow, they're really leaning into the marketing I guess. Well, you know, merch is a really important part of a business plan. Not usually for gas stations, but, you know, good on them. Oh. You've got 2 copies of the magazine. Jeb. Jeb. All right. Yeah, for sure. Here you go. Can. I. Have the other one I want to make a scrapbook. Oh, scrap. Oh, Oh yeah. Let me know how that goes.

Thanks man. Oh gosh, I'm gum. Oh good 'cause I haven't brushed my teeth in a while. I want a combat knife. Well, I'm gonna be honest, it's not as nice as the combat shovels. I'm gonna go ahead and just anyone wants a combat knife? I'm good. OK, I'm gonna and some trank darts. Nice. And I don't got a trank dart gun, I don't think. Oh. I do. Oh, you do. Yes. All right, here. Yeah, take these. Thank you. Score same time. And Jabba, all of the lockers in this room have now been

searched. Who? All right, let's keep looking to see if there's anything else in here. Vivi walk into what seemingly was the office. Yeah. Let's take a look at this office. There's a shitty computer in here, A desk, there's a back door, a door that leads to the South, a few windows, some lockers. It's pretty generic in here. I'll look in these lockers. Cool, roll me roll ME3D6 you get 6. Items. OH. Oh OK, let's go. Jackpot pack of smokes, some scrap.

I guess I can give this to retro or something, I don't know. In scenario MO, I can give this to Iona O25 eddies. I'll take that. Trash. And an empty can. Great. Great. Well, at least I got a pack of smokes. Could be worse, could be a spitter. A what? A. Spitter. Yeah, you know, like if you're. Shaw people shoot tobacco. Oh, that, yeah, that's what I was thinking too. I see. No, you weren't. OK, well, this place. No, you weren't. This place looks pretty pretty boring to be honest.

Thanks, Tracy. This place kind. Of a piece of. Shit. This place right here. Do you walk out the South door? Yeah, I'm gonna. All right, baby. You walk out the South door and you're in this little courtyard. To your left you see the purple van that was being worked on at the beginning of the fight. To your right you see two more barrels of choom, and to your S there's a door. And crudely written on the door is the word jail. Jail. Is this where the Maelstrom put

the baddies? The door is unlocked. All right, let's head into jail. Wouldn't be the first? Journey into the world of Frostborn. The newest arc of. Dungeons and Randomness takes place 100. You step into this little outhouse room under a little overcrop in the corner of the combat zone in Night City. There are two sofas in here, three more lockers, and at the very end of the room there's a big window and a locked door. And inside the room you see two people, bound and blindfolded, alive. Oh, I run back out to the door and just yell. Hey, there's a couple of people bound up and alive in here. Can somebody help me? Who turns up? On there.

I'll go. Also it's locked so if somebody can help with that. Wait, shit, where'd you go? It's out. That's all splashed. Prisoners. Oh. Yeah, that's. Fortunate Retro. Are you joining everyone? No. OK. Are you looting? Yeah, that's I, I was looting and I have I have a secondary mission in in plan. OK cool romy, 2D6 to loot. I'm hoping there's going to be something good on the big bosses because nobody looted them. 2D. Six, you find two things. Sanitizer and some incendiary ammo.

Man, these bosses whatever like. No, that was on the other body. No, no, no, that was on the other bodies. The the big boss had 870 eddies on him. No one's around to see you take that money, so no one knows that you have it. Bad Boy had 200 eddies on him. That's good. That's that's a nice little nice

little hall. The big boss had a pretty generic heavy melee weapon that you could take if you wanted to, but it would it would take up a larger amount of your backpack than normal and you'd have to leave in a weapon at home. And then he's got his magnum opus Hellbringer, which is heavily used and is very low quality. If it ever misfires, it will break, but it also only has a clip of three. But it shoots shotgun shells from a handheld gun. Damn.

That's an exotic weapon I'll. Take that more of the call again. The magnum opus Hellbringer. Magnum opus Hellbringer I'm. Just. Going to write that down somewhere do. You want me to put it into your sheet? Yeah, that'd be nice. Thank you. No. Worries it's retro sheet. There it is. There you go, and the only weapon that is any better than the one that you already have on Bad Boy is his rebar bat. He just has a generic assault rifle otherwise. The. Rebar. The rebar bat is a 3D6 melee

weapon. That's a rate of fire of two. It's very crudely made, so it's just a baseball bat handle welded to a piece of rebar. Diamond in the rough, I can make it better. I can fix it. It's about it's about how you use it and retro you go off to finish your other task as you wade through the dead bodies out here. Meanwhile, in the jail Vivi, you're staring through a window at these two bound people. Yes. Can somebody help me unlock this thing? Oh yeah, I can help.

I'm pretty good at unlocking stuff. Yeah. Jeb, you're standing in front of a locked door. There is a pretty simple computer next to it for locking, but it is a regular locking mechanism with a wall lock. All right, well, give me a SEC. I think I got a little lock pick in here somewhere on my keys. Keys real. Quick. Well, Foley. Foley, Foley, there it is, all right. Whoa, pick pocket. Oh shit, yeah, sorry. Pick pick lock. Plus, I wanted to. Plus I wanted to roll my my my

physical dice. Right, your pick lock is a total of 9, so you add 9 to your roll. So that is 15. 15 that meets a difficult task. I'm going to say that's what this is. 15 is literally a difficult task and the door open. Oh, looks like, looks like these poor souls ain't got a well, they don't. They don't look too good, Doc. Yeah. No, they're not. We have. We have to help them. Yeah, let's. I am going to untie them. OK. Are you going to untie them one at a time or those at the same

time? One at a time. So there are two guys in here, one that looks, yeah, the one you're standing in front of looks a little bit more clean cut. With your fairly, with your experience in Night City, he comes across as a bit of an exec. I'll start with the exec. Wait, no, don't kill me. I just don't care. Why are you here? What? What's what happened? I I'm biotechnical executive. Oh, they they tried to. Ransom me to the company they. That'll never work. The Maelstrom they.

And Maelstrom tried to ransom. Role, Role. Human perception. OK. But because. I'm I own a real human perception. Yes, real human perception outside. The window do do do. I'm waiting for Iona's. I don't remember where human perception is. I only know where regular perception is social. There it is. Human perception insight for this I'm going to give you. I'm going to give you plus one. I know you've already rolled, but I'm going to give you plus one to add that role because you

are biotechnic. Can I? I know this sounds silly. Can I use my inspiration? It doesn't sound if. You're about to give it to me. No, I was not about to give it to you. Yes, you may know your inspiration, OK. Great. I'm going to put I'm going. To put my last. Three luck into it. I know it's so my pet sounds like I'm doing it. I'm doing it. No, no, it's fine. Oh yeah. Sure, that brings it up to a 15. 15 is a difficult task. Yes. You pass. Well done.

He's fucking lying. You actually know his name? His name is Mark Zeiger, and he's known for having a lot of debt. And he's lying. He's lying. OK. OK, well, I will deal with you in a moment. He's also very hurt. I'm going to untie the other guy. As you get closer to the other guy, you do. In what order do you untie this man? The mouth first. Please look at me. I. Don't know where I am, everything feels weird. How did you get here? No, I was just taking a leak in

an alley and then. Hit over the head and. I woke up in the operating theatre and then was in a tube and then some guy stole me from a van and then they put a blindfold on me. I don't know how long I've been in a help. In a tube. He's one of the clones. I'm one of the. What? Nothing. OK, he can't see you. Gang, I don't know what's going on. There's two guys. Do you guys hearing this, the maelstrom just keeping these guys hostage? Well, one of them obviously I is

in debt to them, I am sure. So it makes sense to why he's in here. But but you said that that's a clone. Yeah, there's another. There's another one of them dead in the other room. Oh. No. Do not, do not show him that. No, don't that. That might freak him out. Yeah, I don't know what Maelstrom is doing with all these guys. Well, that, that one, I don't know. This one is obvious. We, we, we could just cut him loose. I don't think he's going to be

much harm to anyone. Are you trying to hide the fact that you were saying you're going to cut him loose? Yes, I I am still. Talking in, in, yeah. And VV will like kind of return and talk and talk in low tones. OK, you know what? We have radios. We could probably say this over our radios into each other's ears. So yes, I I do think that the other one, you should just cut those. Yes. Anyway, in in my ear. What were you saying? But I.

Yeah, we could cut him loose. I guess we're dealing with the maelstrom problem, so it doesn't really matter. What about this Biotechnica guy? What do you want to do to? Him. Oh, no, no, that's what I was talking about. Oh. He's not him loose. He's not Biotechnica. Look at him. Oh, he didn't. Get me Biotechnica, but he was lying about Biotechnica paying no the the Biotechnica guy for sure. We could cut him loose, but not until we transfer his debt to us. Oh, OK.

I like that. That's what I'm. Saying we've taken care of the maelstrom problem Mostly yes. Which takes care of his problem mostly. So he does need to repay us. Yes, OK, OK. I I see where you're going here. If you could the two of you get some money out of him, I think that you should be able to put him on a hook somehow. I, however, don't think I should be involved here. So Vendel and I are going to go to Vanna White so that he doesn't recognize us.

But if you need help, we'll be on the radio. We're on the radios. That makes remembered that we have, yes. All right, noted. Pretty smart. All right, good luck. And I, owner and Vendel leave the building heading to Banawhite. Who's the other guy? Oh, Retro, The other guy is a clone of the Doctor. What's his name again? That's that's Doctor Glass. Doctor Glass. Who the hell is Doctor Glass? He's a guy that I met a while ago. Just a cat. Tell me it's another Chad

situation. No, he, we, I, I saw him last month. Do you want patience records? Yes. My brain is a bit fuzzy. Confirmed patience Doctor Black, accessing patience notes, emerges to Cyberwear. His blood is a. Known cure in high school. My gosh. To cybernetic rejection. Why? Why? Why is? Multiple internal organ replacement. Still alive donors must be a genetic. Match usually unwilling patient. Has done this many times. Evidence. Massive internal scarring.

Observed in operating. Condition his. Life probably saves thousands every. Year observed in person March 26. 2049, Doctor. Baby, you replaced his heart. This is the one I did surgery on. Yes. Oh, boy. All right. You didn't hear any of that? It is a complicated story. You could try and work out if you can somehow stabilize him to give him more time by scanning him, but you know full well that if you do nothing, this man will die fairly soon. That's why the other guy died, right?

OK, so these guys like, Oh my gosh, it's very complicated. Retro. Essentially. There's this guy in Night City who's making clones to get body parts because he has the cure or he thinks he has the cure. To refresh my brain, this guy is a known cure.

In high circle to. Cybernetic rejection he thinks he has this cure to cyber magnetic rejection and they there's a bunch of clones out there where we collect the harvest organs from them This guy yes this guy is not long for this world because of the process it's honestly really unfortunate I can. There's really nothing to. Do for him. I was going to say not to be cruel for kind of taken, but can't you give him a peaceful? Out. If he wants it.

I could, yes, you're right, because I could try to give. Him. Some secrets though from him first, like make sure he tells you whatever the formula is for whatever the cybernetic rejection thing is. I don't know if he knows because I think only his original knows. I don't think he has any idea what he is or his purpose. It's I. Don't know what's going on. It's very sad. I. Work in a hot. Dog stand. Exactly. The clone works at a hot dog stand. What you just told me is not a

clone. What you just told me by that description is gene therapy and is thus a mutant. You've mutated their DNA. I didn't, but the whom, whom stever did this? Yes, you're you're correct. It's not a clone. I guess that's just like an easier layman's term way of describing it for people who don't understand. But yes, this was a person who had a life and existed up until somebody grabbed him. Is the maelstrom the one making these people? No, they're not. They're not smart enough.

Are they the ones grabbing them to the people that you make them? That's the thing, they are grabbing them. If you can get a chance, I would say we should probably take some of their DNA to see if we can fuck fuck around and see what they're doing with it. I mean, do we have the like lab materials and stuff to do that? You can always ask what is. You've got Iona, they work at Biotechnica, and I've also got the workshop. What about Doctor Dave? True, true.

These are all. These are all options. Look, if this person is a cure to that, I mean, I'm sorry to, they've got to feel a little like Iona at this point, but that's the money that can be made there. And there could be a lot of things solved from this too. Yes. So OK. Are you suggesting retro? Maybe I take some of his DNA. Yeah, just take a blood sample. I could do that. You can. Do for saving him. All right, baby. You step back into the room. This man is still bound on the floor.

The executive is now sitting on the sofa. Since you united him and breathing heavily, you can tell with no check that he is quite hurt and would appreciate some medical assistance, although he probably could hobble away. The guy tied up on the ground, however, is not doing well. Man, OK, I. Well. Look buddy, I'm going to help you first. I'm going to help you and I'm going to let you go all. Right, so are you taking blood and scanning this guy?

I'm going to yeah, scan him, make it seem like I'm like helping him and I am going to help him and then also going to take his blood all. Right, roll me a medical check and then something to draw blood carefully. Oh excellent, with your 14 you draw the blood perfectly which if you keep chilled well for a it will be viable for a few months. It is a cure for cybernetic rejection. You don't have that.

If you want to examine it and try and reverse engineer it, it's probably very difficult because that doctor was really smart. If he could reverse engineer it, you probably would have done. But you still have that with your 20 though. The thing you deduce with your scanner is that there is a cure for this man. Applying new data set to scan patient, alert current prognosis. This fucker is going. To. Die. Possible cure for diagnosis? Patience.

Maybe save if given? Boarding classified Biotechnica body. Fuel. Bite. Hey Iona, I go in the earpiece. Do you have anybody fuel bite? Next time on no latency. Wait, wait. Made of. That's the option. Or we could go back to the lab. Well, I guess we don't really have a choice right now. How much does facial reconstruction cost? Give him the money. I'll just hold it for. You a lot of problems that I can't help with because I'm a doctor. Have you cured him yet?

No, not yet. Maybe give him an additional 2000. I'll pay you back. You should probably. Do that. It's a little nasty, but you'll be all right if. That's not really your thing. This file. This whole thing is really going to be a huge curse. Here is in him somewhere so we could figure that out, right? Neither option was good. I'm just saying how bad is this? Well, if any of the three of you are on the brink of death, the. Data is still a bit fragmented for me.

You could have been fun of this entire operation. That's my metaphorical one, I mean. It's learning. I'm sorry. Oh. Shit, Windows Update again. Checks out. Yep, that's where I thought we. Were are we plug and play here or are we having to go through soldering it? Wasn't me. Load and they. Update and then they restart themselves. OK, I think it's brilliant. Is that brilliant?
