Episode description

S2E89 - Blood in the Van

Halloween was brutal and not everyone in the crew got out unscathed. Retro may say they're fine but the holes in his body tell a different story. The crew make haste to Sawtooth's in the hopes that they can stop Retro from bleeding out in the van.

Can Vivi remember Trauma Team style?

Does Jeb still have his driving chops?

Can they get Retro back before he flatlines?

Only the dice will tell.

Last time on no latency. Some say gross, some say delicacy. Yes, also don't. Did you check out this PC? Oh damn. It I saw your skeleton there for a little bit just. Run for our lives, shit. Oh, a deadfall. I'm running for my life. That was. Too close, Steve Zero knows that Jeb's are coming. He's going to walk directly into a trap. All right, Jeb, I. Really want to jump in and just feel my tongue. You would think that this would be like the short restroom. It got me some paint and it got

me some fuel. There's one he's he's in here. We got to get it. Oh. I'm almost at a corner. Retro, do not take any more bullets. Wow, sorry buddy, you're not going to last much longer. Well, talk into the face. Trick or treat? All right, so what's up first? Who needs patching up? That's a good question, I mean. Retro. I can go for a little bit more. Oh shit. Retro. Are you OK? Retro. That's fine, I just. Well, Jeff, do we need to pull over? I mean, listen, I've had worse

days, I've had better days. But as far as I'm concerned, you know, let's keep the mission up front so we don't got to pull over if we don't need to. I, I, I do think that we should probably pull over retros kind of leaking out of the, the television and but that I haven't seen that in quite some time. So we should probably stop. Should we get a? Should we get a Sawtooth? We might need to so see that is going to be. Rich. With the amount that we see him.

We only mean we we get hurt, which is a lot. Which is impressive for a group that walks around with a medic. I you know what? I'm not going to say anything. Too much shape. I'm sorry it's so much worse after murdering that guy Vigel. You've changed, OK. I'm sorry. What has Biotechnical done to you, unfortunately? They've raised me. It's really. Bad. Well, I think we should probably go to Sawtooth. I can maybe fix you Retro. That did not sound very confident. Let. Me fix. You.

Oh, oh, I'm, I'm fine. I, you know, I'm fine. I'm fine. Stop the car. Stop the car. Yeah, maybe this looks. Yeah, we should probably pull over. Jeb, where do you? Where do you? What do you do, Jeb? Do you do you keep right now or do you stop? Well, I'm if everyone wants me to pull over, I'm going to pull over. I didn't say to pull over. Well, most people seem like it's like it's happen to pull over, so we're going to go ahead and do that. Jeb, you pull over. Romeo driving. Check.

For a drive Romeo, just pull over check. Anytime you do anything with a car changing lanes is a scale. Trust me, loads of people don't know how. To do that, Romeo changing lanes check. Romeo check to stop driving. Whoa. 20. 8. I stopped driving really good. You did. You did so good, Remy. Are you? Are you comfortable to do you need? Are you warm? Are you? Old space over here on the your driving is. Incredible. Literally, by Cyberpunk Red definition. So incredible.

As you stop, A5080 Bill smacks into the windscreen of the car and then slips into the air vent and smacks you in the face. Oh, Oh well, well, hey there, your mom's fan. Do pocket that called dibs. All right, this looks as good of a place as any retro. Why don't you step out, get some air for a minute, and let's check your balance. OK. And I'm not going to make you, you know, this isn't like pulling you over and making you take a breathalyzer or anything like this.

But like, I just want to make sure, like all of your, I just want to make sure you're OK. Sure, it's a little stumbly, but it OK, go ahead and put a joint in their drive. OK. You can see when they smoke, there's actually a little bit of smoke that comes out of some of the holes in their body. Oh, I think my lung capacity has dropped down a bit. I think I need to get back to, you know, strengthening my lungs Here. I'll start now. One lift, two lifts.

Oh yeah, that's a lot better. Oh wait, you, you squirted a little bit out of that one. Yeah, All right. Let me run a diagnostics really quick. I'm pulling out my Med scanner. Like I see the holes and I'm just like. This. This doesn't look good. I can I can fix the holes look and I'll just I'll just start kind of ripping my costume from the the leather of the, you know, BDM suit just starts stuffing the holes with it's like yes, there. You go, OK, no, no, you shouldn't do that.

Maybe. One leak fixed. And here, in the light of the sunrise on this day after Halloween, you see the red sky cascade shadows across the car and dart its way through the buildings. And you're overcome by this weird beauty that the city has. Phoebe, the darkness changing to light. And in this moment, you step out of the vehicle, slip on some blood phone for flat on your face. Roll 1D6 damage. Oh. Sorry, I didn't realize I was just spilling everywhere.

My bad. You take 4 damage because you have armor on. I guess is 2 damage. Technically, yeah. So you take 2 damage, which is the result of your crit fail on a paramedic. But you did roll a 13. Even with you a -, 9, which, let's be honest, means that you're just a really good doctor. Even in moments of embarrassment, you can see that Retro is really fucked up. He's lost about 3/4 of his health. OK, sorry, I just give me a second to get myself up. That's all right. You know what?

I I I might be right. You know, I maybe I've been a little too stubborn. Look, I'll admit it. I've cotton mouth for sure. Beside that, I think everything else is fine. We're good. I could use some. You got something to drink? I'm really, really, really thirsty. You are losing quite a bit of Sorry, I put my head out of Vanna White. You You are still losing a bit of blood from your your left chest hole, the lower one. Yeah, yeah, it's quite a bit of retro coming out of that one it.

Does the color of the sky right now? Does everybody else see that? It's a red sky. It's always a red sky. I mean it's. Beautiful, honestly, Is there a problem you think that's due to the to all the pollutants in the air? It's a. Blood casting a shadow. It's actually the after effects of the Aristoc bomb that happened 20 or so years ago. We're still facing the side effects unfortunately and so. What is the pollutants in the air? Yeah, I remember.

When it was red or. It's kind of a downer. Yeah, yeah. OK, Retro, really what what we need. I'm first. Yes, I think we just need to just patch up a couple of these spots here. But I think more than anything, you just need a good night's rest. Yeah, yeah. Good night's rest. That's all I need. I don't even see, I don't think we need a doctor or anything like that. I mean we you could probably use some pretty strong methods to recover faster. Are you saying painkillers?

They need painkillers. Something more than painkillers you're going to need like. Like what? Amphetamines. My brain is farting. No opiates. Does it start with an M? My brain is farting. And my brain is farting. Well, it's really early in the morning. It has been a long night. OK, we're. Both suffering medical effects right now, so. We did just have a very dramatic Halloween. So you told you told him to trick or treat and and it was

the last thing he heard. He doesn't know whether he got a trick or a treat. He'll never know. He's dead. Thanks guys. When? You put it that way. No. OK, I don't have the stuff that will fix you quickly. So if you want that, we can go to Sawtooths. If you want to just rest for the night, you won't feel 100% tomorrow, but you might do a little, you know, a little R&R probably won't help or probably will help. That's my, that's my suggestions. Should we stop at Sawtooths or

should we? Do we want or should we just go home and rest for the night, for the morning? What's the D6 for Richard? That's for me making a decision. What's? OK. I don't know if it's my humbleness or just, you know, my brain getting all socket, but everything's getting a little WAVY and shimmering, like I had too many snakehead mushrooms. And yeah, I think maybe the doctor is going. To. Be in OK retro will just collapse. Oh. Oh. OK, this is a lot worse than I thought. OK, you.

Should probably take them and then rat dog. Somebody help me lift him. Of. Course, yes, go ahead. No, no, I'll, I'll, I'll do it. Retro. Come in, come in, come in. Retro Could you could you go? Yeah. We're still ticklish. Don't make me use the smelling salts. Oh God. Everything really, really hurts. Vendel and VV both roll athletics. Jeb opens and holds the door. Yep, Yep, come on. Carefully.

Gingerly. Is it supposed like I don't have as much pain anymore, but everything's really, really cold? It's really cold. Is it like, is it because we're getting into winter time now? No, just just retro. Whatever the version of keeping your eyes open is, do that. I haven't rolled that plastics. Yet are you? Oh shoot, do you? How cold are you? Are you very cold? If we're on a scale of 1 to 76, I'm a 35. What all? Right, understood. I'm going to take my jacket off and lay it over at me.

Vendel slips in the blood as well as they fall into the van, not hurting Retro because VB rolled high enough. Yeah, yeah, sorry. Someone should put a someone should put a slippery when wet sign out there. Probably a hard idea. Oh, are you alright? Yeah, it's only two D6 damage. Oh sorry, it's only two damage. I was going to say, still hurt. All right, everybody get in a van and one door. I'm going to close the door. Thank you for putting that jacket on, Retro.

Jeb. Yeah. How does Jeb feel in this moment? I mean, I think that I'm a little nervous because my one of my good friends seems to be way more hurt than he was letting down. But there is a doctor in the group. And so I'm feeling a little bit like looking over to VV like what, what are we doing next? What what are we, what are we doing? What are we doing? I'm a little, I'm a little shook us. We should go to Sawtooths all. Right. All right, everyone there, I'm

hitting the gas. VV not to get excited but trauma team style. Just like the old days. If you're awake, do you have a siren in your bag? If not, I can make the wee woo sound. I would almost prefer that. Their bag and no, no, oh, I got AI got a 360 spinning lamp. Hold on. And they'll just take the extra blood and just wipe it on one side. There you go. That's that should work. Now we have red and white. And and retro loses another HP but makes an assignment.

Oh, oh, oh, oh, it's what? Oh, I, I will. I, I've leaned out the window and I'm going to put this on the top of the van, right? It's magnetic, it just. Great. I'm literally at a quarter health now. OK, my. Wee woo wee woo wee woo wee. Woo and you drive off Jeb. This is one of those moments where your driving checks actually fucking might help. So fucking move. Retro was bleeding up. Oh wee woo, wee woo. Can I try to at least that while we're wee wooing? Like. You hatch?

Yes, one of his. Please, please fix the wee woo. Yes, and not roll badly. 1 moment. Oh my goodness, I keep rolling. Chris Phils. Retro loses another HP. Oh, don't. Don't. Don't put a finger in the hole. That hurts more. The car, everything. I'm just I'm. We're almost there. Clearly I can't help you. Jeb, roll again, all. Right. Drive faster, Jeb. I'm going as fast as I can. So 9 HP Oh my God. Try Trace Dragon and you just can't seem to catch. Stop. Keep looking at the light.

Make sure dragon. There 27 yeah, you dodge an intersection cutting through a gas station nobody notices doing a power slide around a corner there is an opportunity here for a yeehaw, et cetera OK OK well there's. Some quick having a great time right now, but I gotta keep, gotta keep it going. Just gotta keep OK. Just faster, please. We're gonna. He's losing more blood. All right, VB. I think all the blood rushed to my legs now. Try again. All right, come on, stay with me

retro folks. Welcome to dungeons and randomness. Since 2012 myself and an amazing cast of 18 have been telling stories in our home brew world of Theria. Four different groups explore lost ruins, run for political office, Rage Against a mad king, set sail to long forgotten islands and so much more. Every group has a different story and flavour, and every season or ark has a new set of groups and stories all building the history of our world with every single session.

Literally hundreds of hours of stories are waiting for you as part of the pickaxe network. Check out Dungeons and Randomness wherever you get your podcasts and we'll see you around the table. I haven't. I'm clearly not trained in years working in the back of a vehicle. OK, better. Vivi It's like riding a bike. And what everyone forgets about riding a bike is the first time you do it again after a long time, you do. You are a little wobbly.

And so whereas last time the rhythm of the road caused you to stick your finger in a wound, this time the rhythm you're used to, like surfing etcetera. And you managed to patch up one of his wounds, which means he doesn't lose any HP at this point in the journey to. OK, I think I've managed to stop the hemorrhaging. Retro. You feel better. I feel as good as a half bottle of you, John. You you get the feeling back to a part of your body you may choose.

Well, I'm going to stick away from the obvious. My wieners. Let's go with my legs. Jeb, Roll the driving Jeb. We're coming. There's another one. Guys. 25 Jeb, you are, you are driving like a king. I'm I'm going. You take the. Wrong way round a roundabout. Skid past a bus. Narrowly avoid a cyclist. What the hell is he doing in the left lane? What the Get out of the row? Come on now. Hey. That's your entrance.

Snap at the right. Way and after this next medical check you will be outside sawtooths. Oh, dear. All right, just one more. 15. Ignore it that I was nervous and clicked twice. No, you're fine. You can be nervous. That's glad and you don't heal him anything, but again because you are competent enough by rolling A15A difficult task, you manage to stop retro from losing any more blood in the vehicle and the vehicle screeches outside of sore tooths. Oh, my. OK, all right, everyone careful.

Now let's let's nice and careful and get him in there. I I, I I'm running and I, I open the Sawtooth store and I like to hold this lighty hermetic door open. So Iona, it's 2:00 in the morning. Yes. The door is locked, but The funny thing about this door is when you put your hand on it, it detects your fingerprint and opens. Mouth. Great. And as you step inside, Sawtooth is dancing to music in a rope. Oh yes, I am the dancing high. Don't pretend I'm not here.

What you shouldn't do, what you should do, is know that Retro is here and I motion everybody to drag in his body. Oh. My oh, that's a lot of blood. Retro. Are you OK? That's probably a silly question, Doctor. Do you? What's going on? What's the prognosis? She is hemorrhaging blood very badly. Right. Why? It's it's complicated. Let me ask you something. It's an Avril Lavigne. Got it. Let me ask you doc, trick or treat. Oh yes, Halloween. Do you? Do you like my Do you like my my

costume? Yes, cool. With the glasses, I'm holding a White Russian. It's pretty good. Yeah, I'm some guy. Best Uncle Bond I've ever seen. Great, you aren't delusional. I like there's some guy costume. It's yeah. No, no, I'm the guy. You know the. Guy the guy, the guy does. Yes, the guy does. Indeed. Get one, get one with your guy. Right. Sorry. Enough of this Halloween banter. That's over, isn't it? Bring him into the medical room. Put him on the table.

Let's save this man. And everyone can ignore that I'm not wearing pants. I trust doctors more when they admit their. Mistakes. It's honestly, it's just kind of nice to be free, you know? Who needs pants? Free. Right Retro, it's time for you to to go on. We have to like genuinely operate on you, me and VVVV. Get the gloves snap itch. OK, it's it's yes.

Well, he's got under 10 health, so I'm going to say that out of all times on this on in this in your times as a crew, this is one of those times where someone needs fucking surgery. This is. Very serious. You're right. I'll get the gloves all. Right, well, I'll be these in that I'm going to grab the doc and pull them in close. Oh. Goodness. I'm going to whisper something into their ear. I'm going to have the surgery. Might as well. Right. Good. Yes, good.

Right. Well, if this surgery goes well, maybe. If this surgery doesn't go. Well then, what's the point? Exactly. Let's just heal you up first. You know what you should? You know what this man needs? Everybody. A song. No, some drugs. Oh, thank goodness. Oh, yes. I mean, yeah, I would imagine that our dying friend here is probably in need of some very heavy drugs, Yes. So I'm I'm going to start with gas because gas is. Oh mate, pretty good. So where do I?

Where is your most? I'm listening. I'm listening to you, Remy. I mean I I. Don't know yeah, if this is going to be my last day before I die. OK? Please just let me have my little bit of synth coke left before I go out. I disposed of that. What? That will probably have effects with the anesthesia, so no. Retro, not gas. Oh, gas. Retro just faints. Like almost as if it's not like a flat line. Like you told me that now Richard is like, what's worth

living in anymore, Dad? Oh. God Retro No. No. Remy. Remy No. There's no reason anymore. Retro. I have other drugs. They're very good. Smell this gas. Where do I put it? On your face? Right there. That'll work. Breathe in. Yeah, does this work on ATV head? Let's see. I know, isn't it great? That's the good stuff. Retro if you want to stay awake, a role resist torture drugs. If you want to give in to the

drug, you will fall asleep. No, I'm going to give in to the drug because the the player does not like being awake during a surgery, so and. Retro passes out on the medical table. All right, VV, let's both. Roll surgery. Oh dear. OK, this is like way more nerve wracking when you're doing it on somebody who's a friend. Yes, I know. How do I get to be as chill as you sawtooth? Oh, about everything. I used to be a terrible, terrible solo. I killed people for a living.

Is that before or after you became a doctor? That was before I became a doctor, Jeb. Now I'm just going to. Oh, you. Vivi. My goodness. Look, this is Retro's life. I'm not messing around. That's a great success. 22. Holy shit I haven't seen stitching work that good in years. I haven't even touched him and he's already gained shit. I gained. Shit, I. Don't know, I'm rolling dice from the Edge Runner's kit.

Hold on. Oh. I mean, if I gain shit, that means things are OK because that means that my body's processed and normalized. So true. They won't let you out of the hospital until you poop. Is that true? Yes. What? Really. You have after severe trauma like this, Yeah, your body, your body can get lepsis. Yeah, shit. Why? Not they wouldn't let me exit the hospital until I pooped they. Won't they won't give you laxatives. Either I was going to say, can

they give you? Something no your body, your. Body has to naturally process. Retro has, in the process of this crit success, gained 27 health. I know. That's too that's that's too health from my my, my Mac. And he looks way better. Now I'm going to say this to you, Vivi Retro asked me to install something while he was under. He asked you to install something. Yes. What is it versus? His doctor. So doctor patient confidentiality doesn't fucking want it.

You guys not to listen? La La la. La La, la. I'm definitely not listening. He wants grafted muscles and bone laced cyberwear 2 grafted. I'm assuming arms. Did you say arms? Let me see, so he wants 2 grafted muscles around the spinal cord to sort of give him a little bit more lifting power, that kind of shit. Simple eye surgery. As long as you have the parts, yes. For it I do. Yeah, yeah. No, I do. Let me see. Retro wants to do. I mean, is this lively normal

like a Ripper doc would do? That's fine, we can. I mean, I I've done RIP a doc stuff, I've I've installed Vendel's leg. That was me. Yes, it was true. I'm not listening. Yes, this is fine, I can help. Great, if you could just flip him over. It's just that button just there. What is it just like a? It literally flips you around. And yeah, it just flips you out like. All right, And there's just. The. There's just the the let's see.

OK, that'll be 1000 eddies. That's actually 2000 Eddies, Sir. So that's 2000 eddies please. Me. I. Shouldn't you be billing it him point to under unconscious? Tracy, when you when you point to retro, somehow just from their pocket, you hear a Ding and you see their Eddie card just pop out. Good. Excellent. I'll. Charge that how much do. You think is a fan tip? What are we thinking 25%? Tip. Tip your doctor. Brilliant. That's 2500 eddies. Fantastic.

In cyberpunk, I believe that. Do you want? Do you want some tip? You know what he. Pulls out the card reader and pulls out your cards and swipes both and retros card deposits into your account in. The dark future. 9 eddies. Oh yeah, let's go. And you guys begin to operate on retro more than you were before. Hey guys, we're going to need another like 40 minutes in this procedure, so if you wouldn't mind just waiting on the couch for a bit longer, we'll be done shortly.

I yell out to everybody else. I I can heal everybody in the in the time between this and the next thing that happens. I mean, that would be great. I'm still, you know, still got a little bit of shrapnel in me from that explosion that I, I lived. Through. But you know, obviously Retro's laugh is a little more important than my little wounds here. In fact, actually, if you just give me a little bit of human flesh, I might be able to kind of do it myself. I have a DIY.

There's a there's a dumpster in the back, Jeb, only from the red shoot. Understood. Oh fuck. Oh no. Oh dear. All right, so it's a 15 which is enough to install the cyberware, but it's a crit fail. So in the process of doing this, retro takes 6 damage and feels it. Oh that's going to be a rough sore spot waking up from this I wake. Up in the front of a surgery. Oh, that's my bad. More drugs than you can 99 oh. Man, this is. This is my night. It's early in the morning.

Maybe you should have ruled. That one. Probably retro. How are you feeling? Pretty melancholy right now. Well, might take a bit of time, but your procedure's done, so you just got to take it easy. I can't, I can't move. I don't know what happened, but I can't move until whatever I'm done healing with is like I'm I'm stuck here. I if it wasn't for Jeb I changing my bedpan, I don't know what else I could do at the moment. Seems to be a little bit traumatic. I haven't even had a cigarette.

I haven't had a joint. Well, my soaked up is. Forever gone. Your body is healing. This is normal. Yeah, well, what happened, dude? I, I we're just, we're just getting. It was. I thought we were just patching you up. Just patch you up M Retro Sawtooth told me about your extra requests while you're under. What extra requests while I was under? What are you talking about? I'm also your doctor, so your secret is our confidentiality is mutual here. Baby, I can't remember anything

since the red sunrise. What the fuck are you talking about? Vivi, you know that his cyberware hasn't been activated yet. It had to be turned off while he was healing. That's why he can't get up. You have to activate. Does this ring any bells? And I turn on your new. Can you? Just do it straight away. OK, cool. Yes. What the fuck was that? Everything Like, I I I felt like I got shocked. Like, have you ever, ever touched a live wire before? All right. Whoa. Yeah.

Shit, what the? Fuck what? What? The fuck is that? What? What did you do? What did you do, Retro? Because were you truly in such a delulu state last night that you don't remember asking Sawtooth for you to get new cyberware installed? Yeah, baby, I want you to, I want you to think about this. I know there are times that I don't make sense, but typically when things get serious, I'm usually pretty like on the nose

for stuff. So I want you to think right now, did it seem like I was high or did it seem like I was high? Oh my gosh. Well. What the fuck is this? You can see now like retro getting up because now that they've you've, you've given this, they now actually look a little bit more muscular and a little bit bigger. Oh my gosh, did you? Get tall you. Did you give me like 3 inches? That's just on the biceps. I don't even know how tall I am now. What the fuck did you do to me?

I'm like looking up. Good morning, everyone. Quick, no. What? Remind me what? What was it that we installed? I didn't write it down. Oh, grafted muscle and bone lace. Grafted muscle and. Jeb walks in with the bedpan at this point empty. Retro It is good to know that your bowels are moving. Hi Jeb, is there a reason you're still in character the day after the day after Halloween? He's doing it for me because I found it really funny, so he wanted to make me feel better.

Yes, I turned on the the accent and now it does not turn off. Again. Big mistake. I thought we fixed that. I don't know what to say, only that I want to suck your blood. See, that's the only thing that sounds good. Jeff Jeff saying my grand pappies caught 40 fives. My grand pappies caught 40 fives. It sounds so shit. It does not have the same ring to it. No it doesn't. Oh my gosh, I think I'm going to lose it. Well, chip, why don't you just take the chip out? Iona.

Is that an option? Right A. Slight problem, I cannot remove the chip my the skin has formed. Over well. We could do another procedure to get that lifted and removed. How, How can it be? You just kind of put the knife all right here and sleep. I can try. It in Are you doing that? Are you doing that right now in front of everybody with a knife? I'm. Going to try. Jesus. OK, Vivi, you're now watching Jeb pull a knife out to his own throat, to the side of his neck,

to cut open this thing. You can try and roll to stop him, but I have a feeling he's going to try and do it anyway. I will try to stop him. Let's see, what did you guys just roll? Surgery. Where's surgery? Under technique, which you might not have because it might be a Med tech only skill. No, no, you're just doing first aid. First aid, OK. Yeah, because you're using the knowledge you have. Can I try to distract Jeb so maybe? You can try. Hey, Jeb. Garlic.

I am not literally a vampire, it is just a what? What? Do you mean you're not literally a vampire? You said you were a. Vampire Jeb is looking over at Retro VV in this moment. Flicks the knife out of Jeb's hand, rolling in 18 athletics, which is higher than the 12, and the knife sticks into the wall and makes a cool shadow. Noise. You could accidentally hit an artery. You have very sensitive arteries in your in your in your neck and kill yourself. You should know that you're a

vampire. Yeah, but. If you know if I. Cut too deep. You can just put me under. Stitch me up, doc. No, this would be a lot easier if you just give me a moment. I will apply a numbing solution so you won't feel a thing and I will take it out. Probably. It's probably best that you don't have to feel a thing. Gosh, and I don't know. Yeah, great. You do it. Last night, while Retro was in delulu hours, he requested additional surgery. All right. You keep saying that.

That's what happened. You asked for cyberwear for grafted muscle implants and bone lacing. I asked for muscle grafts and bone lacing. Yes, you asked. For muscle grafts and bone lacing? For what reason? Remy. That's what I'm wondering. I don't remember. I lost, what, 3/4 of my blood? I almost was on the door of death. And you took advantage of somebody who definitely was not in the right mind and was like, oh, yeah, they've asked for something like that for sure. Let's just do that.

I apologize this was an oversight on my end and perhaps Sawtooths as well. I'm sorry because I mean, I mean, look, I didn't ask for it, so I'm not paying you back. Maybe if we need to go and take it back, I'll tell you and take it back. But. I think in the long run this could benefit you, so there are positives. I mean, I do feel a little more, you know, that's not the right word. Just going to say cocky. Did you even? Say a word well. I was about to say cocky, but

that's not the right word. I wanted to say confident because I mean like, you know, I don't have those. I know the biceps of Atom Smasher, but like. Yes, but as with a little. Good. The downside to this these. Actual muscles. They're probably implants. It's like they're not actually real. It does not real muscle. No, no. It's grafted in there. It'll help you, yes. It'll probably boost your confidence because you're a bit stronger and and tougher.

It comes at the cost that you may as as with most risks, and usually these are things you discuss with your patients before you make a decision like this. You may feel a little out of touch with the world, your humanity. Let's find out. Oh. Dear. You forget that during that fade you all did therapy, so do that. Right, but I got 2 so. You got two I'll. Roll for therapy, then. Yeah, once I got all right. So what do we roll for therapy? There's a therapy button.

Oh, where it is cool therapy. Holy shit. Nice. Yeah, that's cool. I'm in touch with. Oh. Extreme therapy. Extreme therapy. That's cool dude. So I'm going to say that you get 14 back because of the Creek. I'm maxed out now. Sick. There you go. Although I didn't change my. Humanity. Anybody else who wants to roll therapy, Bendel should should. Yeah, Bendel should. Yeah, I also roll some therapy.

It's been sure. Everybody wants to roll therapy has to pay 250 eddies because that's how much it cost. Dang therapy. Yeah, also. Expensive. Yeah. Therapy. Therapy we did last night was not expensive. You're rich now. So I am rich. I have to remember that since hanging out with you guys. We make the money. The bank, yeah, we've got so much money. We we should go shopping. I mean, we have to buy a bunch of stuff for Domino anyway. We. We probably should. Oh shit Iona, you gained 16

humanity back. Here's Here's Vandel, not a crit. Not a crit but they did do extreme therapy so it is a 13. You know, that does bring up a good point, Vandel. It is Thursday. It is Thursday. You know what Thursday means. Oh, the the crystal place or whatever the glass. Market Glass market. That's what it was called. Where I got my danger gal ears? They're so cute. And that one guy, sleazy guy, that vendor. Was nice after everything looked really good for your costume.

Thank you. They were authentic 1 of 500 rarity collectors item. And we could all go. We could. But we could because we did a job and and we say this, we should all treat. It's, it's treat yourself, right? Is that how they say it? Yes, that is part of the therapy perhaps. Oh, doctor's orders, Jeb, Jeb, Doctor's orders. Jack. Doctors or. No, I've got too many voices. In my ear. You've still got the chip in, so keep going. Doctor's orders. Jeb, you can take the chip out now.

Oh, that's right, one in the moment like. There we go. It's. And you know what, Jeb, now that you've got that slot, I mean, we're going shopping. You could get some skill chips. Oh my God, what the hell do you want to be doing? Skill chips we could. Get skill chips and then we could go on the way we could get we could get some bubble tea and and and have the whole time. That would be that would be nice. Does everyone feel like having a

nice time together as a group? That would be nice, watching Retro almost die. It's really stressful. It'd be nice to just do something easy, yeah? We could go next. Wait, why did my voice get lower? What the hell your? Voice. Box got stretched out during the surgery it looks like. Wait, try. I need, I need a break. I'm going, I'm leaving. I'm going to the glass market. Let's not tell tonight. We'll see you then. Bye. Bye. Phoebe leaves at the bar.

They'll meet you later at the Glass Market. That was a little, that was a little funny. I made him think that I was going through second puberty again. Oh, hold on. Somebody's calling me. Oh, Hoy, Hoy, this is retro. What's that there's a charge for, motherfucker? Next time on no latency. I'm going to need something to carry this in. Well, that's nice. OMW, see you there. All right, I never leave the house looking for a fat clang. Oh no, is that foreshadowing?

Right Domino, yes, this isn't all about about me. I have 10,000 eddies for domino stuff so we can. Do a lot of shopping. I'm doing it currently. I hope we don't get robbed. Bubble Tea's. On the way back. What? Why are you at the merch desk? It's I love glass market. He's. Only like 3 years old. I mean, this is the glass market, but it is still a night market. If anything, I might overestimate it. Iona is pretty good at this actually. That's exactly right.

He pretty much nailed it right on the head. Thank you, Clive. Pleasure as always. Then you probably know where. To go. I think that makes sense. It's. All free right now, no longer talking like a vampire. No. Retro. Retro, Retro, What are you doing? Sir, what are you doing to me? Why are you threatening me like that? How much, motherfucker?
