Last time on no latency. Side quest. Hi, I'm the name's Coyote. Hi, Vivi. Well, I don't think this is worth it. I'm here to save Chad. Are the bubbles always full of drugs or is there like other stuff? The merch is so cute here. This whole place is adorable. To my new best friends. Oh my gosh, best friends. Going to get crazy and find some ambulances. I'm going to get your goddamn ambulance and save those patients. Let's drive rule out. Yeah, yeah. Let's go.
Major trouble from trauma team later, VVI. Don't think I'd give a shit about any insurance stuff. You just tell me where to go. How about this? I take this nice fancy hoverboard you have here as payment and I'll let you go. Yeah. Anyone feel like bubble team? Absolutely. You know, I I think it's about time that VV calls up her old gal pals to have a bit of a meeting. You talking to yourself and third person there, Bibi. Yes, I do that sometimes. That's that's cool.
Yeah, damn it. Who's. Talking. To me right now, stranger. Right, stranger. Stranger. Yes, I look. Like Jeb, but I'm mildly listening. Yeah, for a second, I thought you were Jeb. I take offense to that. I I I'm sorry. You're yes. Like you said, you're you're nicer and cooler than Chip. Yes. Speaking of, I think I need to go get some tea. You do that, I'm gonna go and do drugs in the basement. OK.
Staying over. So I am going to call up my girlies and call the girlies and spill some pigs. Yes, call the girly pops to spill some tea. You hit the button to say I'm going to call my girlies and they heard you and they've been chuckling in the background this whole. Time. They've been on. Yeah, on my agents. Because I have an agent. Hey, guys. Baby. Hi. How's it going? How are things in Night City? Oh, same old, same old. Can't complain too much.
Yeah, I think we, I think we should have a reunion. We should be, yeah. I mean, I've been, like, saying this forever. Yeah, hang out more. You know, TC and I, we are. Always catching up so you know you have been the. One who's kind of, yeah, you know. It's it's been a busy couple of months you know, I. You know, been having a lot of jobs. Things just, I'm I'm sorry that I haven't been able to. It's OK. That's OK. Always.
Saying she missed. You. I'm just like, I feel like me and TC were cool, but like we're a little bit directionless, like we're in like a state. Of, like, not really existing. It's like we're kind of only in the world, like when you're here for some reason, So you know, it's cool. But like I I would love to hang out with you again. When just. Knocks the door open. You know, I kind of feel the sign. OK, you know what?
Why don't we catch up? Since you guys seem to just, you know, have not much going on and I have a lot going on, maybe I'll just tell you what I've been up to. Yeah, I mean, that's fine. Tea. Always. Hell it. Hell yeah. Bubble tea, but not bubble tea. Let's go. Oh, bubble tea. Wink she does. Wink out loud. How far away are you? I can give you a ride. Could you stop by the No Latency bar? Have I? Have you guys been there yet? No, I don't think I've taken you.
Oh, I've heard about it. But I've never been cool enough to get in. Yeah, the first time I went. You basically have to, like say a secret word or something to get in. And it's kind of complicated. I should probably ask, like, what the rules are. I don't know if I could just invite people no one else to see plus. One thing. Do we know what? Let me ask. I'll ask Ping. I'm sure it's fine, you know. Yes, please. Thank you. I felt awkward because I didn't go anywhere and you kept talking
to everyone. Else I'll be right back. Are we on FaceTime? And I like, hey, who's that? Ping opens the door to the alleyway. Yes, Phoebe. What do you need you? Just text me. Oh, you're on the phone. Sorry. Yeah, so say I wanted to, like, bring a couple of friends here. Is that is that cool? Do they need to, like, be part of some secret? I don't know why everyone in the crew thinks that I don't have customers except you guys. Yes, of course.
We're just a word of mouth bar, Yeah, but like. But like do they need to like say some cool word or something? Just give you a. Code on the vending machine and it opens and when they come here I'll give them some cards. OK, that was way more normal. Yeah, I tried making a really complicated way of doing it, like you have to vendor certain item, whatever, but Joy didn't really get it so we just went with the cards. OK, well never mind. You guys could just come by. Just love.
You are my best friend. Don't forget. That I've already tracked your location I. Thought I wanted to be a best friend, that's how. Did she have my location? You're my best friend. Which mother on SNAP maps? What vehicle have you arrived in? OK, this is the most bodacious bitch and whip you've ever seen. It's definitely like like a shitty van that has been totally airbrushed. Like like a psychedelic, like buff wizard riding a wolf. The toweling at the moon. You know, just like, whatever.
The coolest van you can think of. That's what it looks like. And I roll down the window and you see Coyote is actually in like these crazy neon shades now and just like a popped collar of like a really like, electric jacket. She's just like decked out in this, like really just very different from her last aesthetic. She's just driving a new look for you. Coyote. Yeah, I mean, I I think it she steps out and does a spin. She's like, this is the new me. This is This is Coyote.
I like crawl over from the passenger seat to like the window that's down on the driver seat. It doesn't. She look great. No, I I love it. We had a really cool makeup, fashion, makeover montage without you. It's something that, like best friends would do together, but you were so busy. So I spent time with Teensy and we got, we got like. We match trash. We look so good. Swim neon color as coyotes glasses. I have like a full jumpsuit in the same color. Wow.
Now I just. I actually feel like I need to. I need to match you both now. Well, you're in black and I pull out. Yes, let's. Go What does it say on the back, you guys? I think it says like Girls night. What does it say? Girly pops, girly pop. It just says it, says the girlies and it's got like, like lightning bolts, like stitched on to it and it's kind of got some LED action. Happy. I will have I I like added LED's to it. To him, make it all fancy. This is perfect.
Yeah, roll. Am I just rolling my basic tech? Oh no, you did role play. Yeah, yes you are. You can also use your rollability if you like. Wait. Wasn't there a fashion skill? There is. That's what I want you to roll sick. I'll roll Word Ribbon Style +6 for an 11, A cool 11. Nice. Oh shit. Would you explode? Do you explode? Do you exploding? OK, yes. So that's going to be 18 + 17. Oh my God. So not only does it say your cool slogan on the back, it turns out it can say anything on
the back. That's because there is an embedded dot matrix. Screen in the back of this jacket and it looks exactly like Vb's jacket if she turns it off. This might be the coolest thing I've ever seen in my life. I've been working on it since you left and we all have matching ones. Yeah, yeah. And you'll never guess this. And I walk them. Around the other. Side of the van and it's a mural of the three of us. We're all something for how good the mural is. OK, I no, I played for this.
I well, I did it. I didn't think this was gonna happen. But I I think she's been she's been getting creative, right. This is what you got in your free time. Coyote The more technical and artistic things of life. I added some points to my paint draw sculpt. It's not a lot of points, but I'll roll for it. Let's. Do it. Oh, good for a cool 7. It's good, but the hands aren't right. It's like AI. This is the dark future so. This could be AI generated. Yeah.
You know, I like, I have like a cousin that's super into like, you know, like they're a net runner and stuff. And they made a program for me. And I tried to just like Trace. I used it kind of as like a stencil and I was airbrushing it. But, you know, I think, I think it's kind of like it's a little old school. You know? Like, I think it's just a little retro. I think things that are perfect are actually imperfect, right? Yeah. You know what? We could take this and we can
hang it in the bar. That's the side of my van. So I I don't know how but if you if. You want. Me to make a copy. I'll make more if you want. That's that's fine. I'm glad you wear you put it proudly on your your vehicle that's. Yeah. I mean the other side, I think the other side's better, but you know, I I did this side first, so. Hey, don't get down on yourself. It looks, well, I just feel like. I feel like maybe you don't like it very much. I I've. Love it. I've got to close.
The bar for a bit. And narratively, you shouldn't come here anyway. So. I'll see you guys later. That's cool. I don't know. Paying pixels out like everything exists. Well, I. I actually have an apartment. I just. I've got my tennis lesson. No one ever asks about my life. I'll see you guys later. Hey, wait, what's your what's your story, man? Ping Nathan I'm. In the bar. When I speak, it sounds like music. I think that's cool. I used to be a doll. I love music.
I love dolls. That's right. Not that kind of doll, honey. Oh. Doll like the and maybe does a little dance. But like you know. That's what she got. Honey. I don't do that anymore, though. Now I'm now I'm a fixer. Cool, That's cool. Good for you, homie. And they run a great bar that one day you both will be able to see, but you'll. Be able to see. I'm just, I'm just going to go and have my tennis lesson. I'll see you guys later. See you, Jim. They're cool.
So is this who you're hanging out? Is this your new best friend? Phoebe, you're spending all your time with you. Talked about this. Ping is great. They run the bar where the rest of my crew does like, hang out and spend a lot of their time. But there's no need to. We don't. They're they're like coworkers. Really. Oh. Yeah, no, you're right. I. Hope they don't listen to this. I get that. I feel bad. No, I totally get you, man. That's. Yeah. No, I get it.
All right. You know, you guys, you guys get me so. I won't tell anyone so. Should we go out? Yeah, let's get some bubbles, yeah? And you'll pile into the van and you drive out to the Bubble Cafe. Roll me a driving show. Cool, you roll dice in this game. The hell ooh, I exploded. I drive there so good. It's 33. You pull up outside of the Bubble Cafe and when you arrive outside, you're all excited. There's music playing on the radio. You go to park into the back.
The one thing you notice before you start to park is the Bubble Cafe. It's dark. What? Maybe there's a grave Why is everybody closing? Oh, oh, like, OK. It's not like you mean like how no latency closed and how. Is it a holiday or something like what? The night is young? You're right, it's. Still in diapers, I look in the window. You can't see through the window since it's one way. I try the door. The door is locked. I pick it, you're. Gonna pick the lawn.
Yeah, Okay, we're doing crimes. Already go? For it. I love crime and mischief. I mean, there's a vending machine on the outside. We could just have bubble tea from the vending machine and. Or would you get bubble tea from the vending machine and and pick the lock and drink it inside? Still, I rolled a 17. 17 is enough, you unlock the door. Hello anyone here? The door creaks open and knocks unceremoniously against the wall. The music is off.
The internal lights have a glow to them, but they have been dimmed and it is basically silent. Roll a perception check like everybody. Or anybody who wants to know stuff about this room. I'm not gonna meta game. I don't think Coyote gives a shit. Ooh Vivi Dang. You rolled a 23 + 3 crit. That is the third crit in a row.
I'll get to that in a second. Then, Vivi, what you notice is that the back door is unlocked, and that the door to the kitchen is unlocked and you hear someone in the kitchen. We probably could have just went through the backside, apparently, because all the other doors are unlocked. You can see that. You can see, I think things are locked or unlocked. That's so cool. I just. I just.
Walk around. You have been you're obsessed because in the vending machine, the only thing you noticed when you rolled your imploding perception is in the vending machine there are two packets of bubble tea leaning against the glass. You just work it out. You're now obsessed with this because you can get two for one. Yes. Start shaking it. The tech shakes the vending machine. The tech Cool. Just like. Just like so. Overcome with excitement, I forget like my own skills. Fantastic.
Roll rolling. Relatable. So relatable. I think there's somebody in the kitchen. I think I heard somebody around the back. Do we wanna ask them why it's closed? Yeah. Hey. Just. Walk in and just start shouting. Yeah. I rolled a 13 for brawling. 13 is enough. This vending machine's fairly empty and for the price of one of the packets, you get to. The packets do not come with drugs for legal reasons, They are just the they are just.
What they are super useful for though, is you can take drugs and turn them into two doses rather than one. That's why the bubble tea is cool, because you can drink half of it and that's as much as one dose that makes your drugs go longer. It's a homebrew thing I made-up. I like it. Yeah, it's fun. Hey guys, I got you. For the price of. 1. Yeah, 15 Eddies. Nice. You nailed it. I'm proud of you. These people are going to be so confused. Hey, yeah. Hey person working back there
your weekend? No, we're not open. Yeah. Why? Why aren't you open, though, is my question. And is that like, is that like, like you're closed, closed or like, you're closed? Phoebe. Hi. Hey, you are, you know, like, hey, you know like Iona and like being and stranger and like everybody knows each other, I guess. Except for Good Old Coyote and Teensy. It's nice to meet everybody. Hello, Nice to meet you And JK Reeves. And it is nice to meet you. Nice to meet you, Reeves. My guy.
My name is Coyote. Yo fist bop fisted. That's totally right. My hand is wet because I was cleaning dishes. It is not urine. Mine's a little wet because I have clammy hands because being around people makes. Me a little nervous. It probably keeps you cool in the winter, yeah, but right now, not so much. You know what else keeps us cool or sweet? Jackets and. Your jackets are pretty Nerva and bubble tea could keep us cool. What's? The deal. Hiya tasty.
Hey, T&T Coyote Vivi, I've got some bad news. We don't have any drugs, so. Well. Also, major bummer. And like Annie, Alice keep forgetting her name. She's like the person who normally works the desk. Apparently they're like raising the rent like extreme because the area is like. Expensive now, and there's. Like. Gentrification here in Night City. I tried spinning a sign, but like without drugs spends, it wants to come, yeah? Yeah, yeah, so.
So like our drug dealer is missing and we owe more rent. That. Is not cool. Very not cool there. Were still dishes to do. I mean, considered living inside of vehicles. I find that living in a van is pretty cool because I never have to pay rent. I live in a shipping container, yeah. These are so. Creative. Reeves, are we best friends now. I don't know. You seem pretty nervous to me, Jim. Thanks Jim. If you had drugs, we would be best friends.
I normally do have drugs, but again, I gave all my drugs to the bubble cafe because they needed them and then even my drugs wasn't enough because I only had like a gram so. Damn. But yeah, like the rent went up because of some, like, bullshit thing in the lease. Any Alice person she knows, she's out back having a cigarette in an existential crisis. Because, like, I don't know if you know this. It's all hurt. Like with, this isn't a chain. It's all her. It was all her idea.
That's why. It's not fucking boba. Because, like legal reasons. Well, is there anything we can do to help? I mean, I love a female entrepreneurial type, so. I love drugs, so. Yeah, and I like employment, You know, this like pays half my rent. And like without customers, I'm not really sure how I'm going to get paid. Yeah. That's. Capitalism is a bitch, my guy. The math doesn't really work when I think about it because like if they get 0, how do I get something of 0? Bro, you can't.
Divide by zero. I hate math too. I think it's a. Shit, yeah, I'm. Pretty good at it actually. So how can we help? Well, Alice is Outback. Yeah, I'm. Just. Here for flavor, literally because I'm the chef, haha. Well, we'll. Go. Talk to. Alice, OK, cool to see you, Vivi. Yeah, you as well first. Outback. Wait. Who unlocked the? Front door. Just go and deal with that. You guys have a great day. Hooligans. I like these like a video game character. Did you not know? I'm Reeves?
I'm pretty cool. Yeah, like 6 dialogue options. I used to be an adventure, and then I replaced my hand. Fuck. Have you ever been to the Cloud District? No, I have not. That sounds like a great place to smoke, haha. Sia Reeves. OK, let's go out back. Outback Alice is leaning against one of the Porta potties, smoking a cigarette. Fuck. Oh. Fuck. Hey, girl, No. We closed. I'm sorry. Debrief that you in. He's such a he's nice, but he's such a dumb fuck.
We are. Here. Yes. You're here to help. Yeah, sure. Me. I'm here to get drugs. I want to make that very clear, but I'm also here to support my friends. OK, well, we don't have any drugs. If you want to help me that would be great. When you're. Friends with real drugs, so. That coyote can come back here sometimes for drugs. Yeah, OK, we're, I mean, we we're kind of regular patrons and we, I I mean, I'm friends with. Grieves and he kind of told us the story about how you might go
under. Oh yeah, no, we've we've got no money coming in. It's it's really bad. That sucks. Yeah, really does. Well, it's it's. So it's. I can't. What was your name? Sorry, I I think I met you like once. Right. I'm Vivi. Hi, Vivi. And they put out their hand. Nice to meet you. And these are my friends, my best friends. The name's Coyote, because my best friend. Hi, I'm Ann Alice. Ann, Alice and Alice. That's two names I love. It yeah, I sell drugs and I'm AA.
That's cool. Hey, sober life is awesome. Don't let anybody make you feel bad about that. No, those are my initials. It's. True. I got it, yeah. Cool. That's funny. Thanks. Yeah, I am. You know I I I. Consider myself. To be a fairly lucky person. Like I found this lot when the building and building a building was really cheap and I got the front chain, so there's those two bowls on it.
But what are the chances, Vivi? What are the fucking chances of me losing my drug dealer, who I buy my drugs wholesale from and my rent going up at the same time? And Vivi. I'm not one for some conspiracies, but something fucky is going. On. That does sound like a target. Intentional targeting of this place maybe? Maybe you were threatening someone else's business. Yeah. Look, this is the fucking letter they gave me. Look at this shit. Paper Holly Paper. Whoa, Holly paper.
That's. My. That's my backup character's name. Randy. Randy Chalet Properties. Such a douche bag, yes. Dear tenant, it has come to our attention that your business is going well. Congratulations. Due to high demand of properties and land in your area, RCP and associates are invoking a clause in your lease. Yep. Section 74-23 point 5. In the event of a market fluxation, rents can increase for a period of four months by up to 30%. This 30% is considered a donation. And is not.
Tax. Deductible. What? We are excited to be part of your success and to share in the area's growth. This increase of 30% is effective immediately. Management, Have you thought about moving? Hey, no Latency listeners, it's Spoon. I play Jeb here on No Latency. But I also produced the brand new show System Switch, and it's called System Switch because every few episodes we take our same beloved characters and throw them into a completely new universe in the form of a new
role-playing game. We'll go from steampunk to cyberpunk, from fantasy to scifi, from romantic comedy to dark comedy, from D&D to Call of Cthulu and everything in between. So join us on our romp through the multiverse by searching for System Switch on your favorite podcasting app. The building is cemented to the ground. Well. I mean like it doesn't need to be the building. You could just like move the business somewhere I have. Enough money to move the building, but if I move it from
here, my business is dead. This is the area. See, this is the thing, Coyote, right? If I had my drug dealer, honestly, like, I'm not being funny. 30 percent's nothing. Like it's not getting there. Anyway, it's. Doing so well. But like, I know that they want to build a bunch more apartments around here and like do a bit more gentrification and stuff and we're just. This Cool. Little Bubble Cafe man. And it's a good spot.
About proposing that they just build apartments around the business and then like you have built in customers they like live on top of you. I mean that would be ideal, but they want to put that building. And she points at one building across from the parking lot and then points to the other side. Of that building and build them together. Have you thought about? Taking your business to the streets. I said this earlier to Reeves, living out of a van is pretty cool.
I'm. Sure, this is one of the few areas where you can sell drugs and the NCPD won't come on knocking on my door. Well, you just have. This is one of the few As that have permits. My point is I can't. The machines also giant that does the drugs and the bubble thing. I thought you kind of just like. I don't know what I thought, like you had fruit or something and you put something in it. They pop. They're a physical object. It's not bubbles. Yeah, but doesn't it?
I've never had fruit before. Doesn't it like, kind of do that anyway? Isn't that like, the whole? Oh, I don't know. I like that you you got spunk. I don't have fruit. I just. I just invented things that could hold. Kid. No, I don't. Very innovative, I checked. Not between my legs at all, that's. All right, I don't know why you needed to. Be like that about it, but. Because the joke was sitting there and I really wanted to make it. So who? Was your dealer? Is your dealer or Dean?
Yeah, nice guy. Bit of a mocha and. He. Hasn't returned my calls. When slash where did you last hear from Dean? Today before I got this letter and now I can't get hold of him. Here. Right. And his he said his delivery was delayed for some reason. Said he was going to go and check something out with his. Ladies clowns. Something. Like we have a mystery to solve. That's cool, I. Mean. That'd be great. I'll give you free drinks for a night. I'm in SOLD. OK, cool.
Enthusiastic, right? Yeah. I like boba bubbles. I like bubbles. I think it's me. I think it's me too. The. It's. Only was the vibe. You know it's. Definitely the vibe. It's a great unique niche because you got bubble tea and you got drugs. So I think it's a good business, yeah. And I would hate to see it go under. Yeah, I don't want it to be replaced by a Sorville coffee. Not again. Oh gosh, Sova. Oh gosh, that everywhere literally tastes like gasoline.
Yeah. Disgusting. That's because I think there might be tune for in it. I wouldn't be surprised, right? OK, we need to figure out where Dean is. Maybe he might be able to. Help. And I don't know, you guys seem pretty tough. If you wanted to, like, have a word with my landlord, here's the address. That's fair. I hate landlords. I think everybody does. Maybe they give us an extension because the drug dealer is missing. What if? We. Killed your landlord. You probably just take his.
Place. Boom. So I just want to because they can only do it for four months. I can live that. That's fine. Right, but you let me know, wink. Oh, that's cute. Yeah. Coyote's cute. It's true. Thanks. And the matching jackets and all of that? Nice. So Dean. Dean. Dean. Yeah, He lives under an overpass in. Love a good overpass. Yeah, he lives in a shipping container or two. I think Reeves. I think that's where he lives, that. Makes sense?
What do you think, Phoebe? Is that what we should do? Go find Dean. Yeah, Phoebe, this is all up to you, man. Yes, I think we should. Cool. Where does Dean? Where do you usually meet Dean for like? He delivers. That's why I like it. Also, he delivers in bulk. And when I say bulk, I mean. So. OK, does he say where he usually like gets his pickups or like where he resides or what? How does he get? Have you bought? I'm a doctor. I get her prescriptions. Yeah. OK, crazy.
I don't. Know you must be. Doing Coyote, you said you bought drugs. No, I mean, my mom always said you never you never pay for your own drugs. You should use your womanly Wiles to try and get them first. So right. Well, normally I just like hang out with enough people out in the desert and then. You can get stuff that way. And then I came here and realized you can also purchase drugs. So none of you and and the tiny one you you seem. I have picked up drugs from like
haul it out cacti before. No, no, the one behind you. No, there's there's no one. Teams you. Hi. You've not bought drugs. No, no, no, so. You guys have never bought drugs. Yeah. As in general. I mean, you bought them from me, but did you ask me where the drugs came from? This is an establishment. Right. OK, so I don't ask Dean where he gets the drugs.
They're good quality, they don't kill people, and he delivers them in a crate that doesn't say this is cocaine on the side of it. And I'm. I love that about Dean. Dean's a bit of a penis, but that's OK. He's. Just kind of a mo. And I don't ask. He drops his crates off, I give him some eddies, and he leaves. Do the crates have any labelings on them or anything? Like that, Yeah. Say this. Is cocaine on it? Oh no, you just said.
Actively doesn't say. That they were like OK, like no brand like fake brands or anything like say like Ora SOCRA. So like, if you look at it really fast, you might think it's Arasaka. That they're basic bitch crates. They're just crates. OK, I want a crate. Yeah. Huh. Well, and do you just? Go to the shipping yard then and just like start opening all of the crates, right? I might take a lot of time but. Night City is huge. Do you know any other people
Dean would deliver to? Sore tooth and like maybe tuna. OK, so. Maybe stranger, actually. So. We could try talking to property management or. We can try tracing steps. Dean. Or both. My only thoughts with talking to property management is that, like, if it's like all a conspiracy, like we might just make things worse. But it can't get any worse than this. And I could evict you. I mean not until the end of the month and paid up. But they don't really seem like. Fair landlords.
No, I know. But I my my lease lets me be here for three years. If I can just get through these four months, I'm good. They can't do that for like another 2 1/2 years. That'd be nice. OK, let's see if we can find Dean wherever they might be. Let's go talk to some of his other potential. Patient patience. I'm sorry. I keep using. Medical terms. I mean, Reid knows where he lived, so you could just. Ask him. Yeah, you know, I should have known that. He would know.
That's silly of me. All right, let's go. Let's go retrace these steps here. Don't worry. We are going to save your bubble tea place. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Thanks guys. Appreciate it. Man. They're so chill, but their business about to go under. I mean, they seem pretty stressed out in the. In the distance as you close the door behind you. Fuck. Just here, outside. Never mind. I don't know. I feel like it seems a little performative. Right? Like. What seems? Providing a deal.
They're grief differently. You can't really judge it. You guys just walking through the store. I just locked it. Hold on. Oh, wait, We have a question for you. Wait, Hi. Hi. I opened the door for you like a gentleman. Such a. Gentleman. Thanks. So. Reeves. That's me. We're going to try to save the business and we need your help. Oh, OK. So Dean, you drug dealer. Oh yeah. What do you know about him? Where does he live? What's his usual habits like?
How is what you know? He lives in two shipping containers. He has the same landlord as this place, the underpass, and like I'm like 3 lots over, but I have a different landlord. OK. So I I I just, you know. You haven't checked on him recently since he, like, went missing. He delivers. Right, but like since you stopped delivering, you didn't, like go to check on him? Well, you know. As like an addict of several substances, I have more than one dealer for my many needs.
But you don't. None of them can deal in bulk to save here, no. No, no. Again, I had like a gram and it's gone. No, no, I get that. That no. That was very nice of you. Cool. Yeah. So 2. The shipping containers. I guess. Yeah, which shipping containers specifically do you know by chance? He's like 3 lots over the the the same landlord as this place like. OK. Like their place. Do you have the address for the the landlord guy? Wait. You got a car? To rent or something. Randy Chalet.
Yeah, yeah, that douche. Yeah. Where? Where does he live? Where is he at? Oh, he's like four blocks that way and around the corner. And then the shipping lot is like another four blocks after that. Sweet. OK, like same Rd., just keep going. Wild, yeah. Two lights, not one. It's also big and green. You can't miss it. OK. All right. Let's thank you Reeves for your help. This is actually super helpful. OK. You're doing great. Thanks. Let's go to the shipping container. All right.
Are you coming with Reeve? Reeve. No, I was just agreeing with you because it felt like the vibe. It's going to be nice. I get it. Vivi has this like natural leadership quality like. The whole crew at no latency. You just like want to jump in. Although the one time they did ask me to help, I totally fucked that up. Yeah, it's it's OK, Reeves, you're you're being very helpful right now. So. Hey, when you say sorry to Jeb, is he still angry with me? Probably.
But that's OK. I he he holds grudges. But like one time he killed somebody from the the you know he was holding like a long grudge and like I had a race and yeah and then at the end like he he killed him. I wasn't expecting, but I don't think you have to worry about. That I love. A revenge quest, yeah? Yeah, yeah. Jeb shooting someone in the head That seems on Brad. Yeah, yeah, So.
But I will let you. I will let him know that you are sorry and still feeling bad, and I'm sure it'll all be fine. OK, bye. Let's go. Jace is Jace is Brad. Bye, Jim. He's he's he's probably not in good shape with Jeb, so well, I really like him. Maybe this Jeb guy's got it twisted because I don't know how Reeves could fuck up so bad, you know, I just, his heart's in the right place. He's got a good aura, you know. It's it's in the right place.
You're right about that. But you know, look, my medical advice is sometimes. Too much drugs can mess with you a little bit too much, for sure. Yeah. You gotta like know your limits. But like, I mean you know it's I've, I've seen some cases but you know. He's a good guy. And you're saying this as you will climb into the van? Yeah, just move those. Just move those kibble wrappers. It should be. She's like moving shit around. She lives there.
So where you going to the shipping container sounds? Good girls. Night, girls. Night, I turn on the radio. Oh, OK. Are you talking on the radio? I what a spot, a music player. But you have a radio in the car, you could do yours. I like it. Maybe if we like sync up our music players at the same time, it'll be twice as loud. Yeah, you know, this song is really good. I just don't know why. It's like the only song I ever hear on the radio. You know, like, what's that all?
About they. Play those popular songs over and over. Whoa, whoa. A remix? Yeah, I bet this song will be so much better if I have some falling drugs. Well, we'll turn the Brady one again once and get some funny funny. Funny. Funny as you arrive outside the overpass. Which has these two shipping containers locked together. I go to check this vending. Is that a vending machine? Are there any loose items? Role perceptions. You're going to check every single one.
I love that. 15. Yes, you find a bag of kibble that not only is hanging out of the hook, but you're fairly certain if you did just the right knock. That it would fall to the bottom and you'd get it for free. I knock it. Knock it. Roll whatever. Roll brawling. Or. A Malay weapon if you like. You want or some sort of tech to try to, you know, hack the vending machine to that plus on dance check. If it's hanging there, that's true. So much work, that's true. I can just hit it and the
vending machine is actually like a whole net architecture. 18 Yeah, damn, yeah no, it falls to the bottom and you get an Eddy spits out the machine as well. Just one. But it's like, oh dude, it's like finding a dollar. Now the problem is Tinsy is you just made a bar load of noise and you hear voices. Do you hear anything? I know, I heard like somebody hitting a vending machine. Yeah, yeah, like the. Distinctive sound of somebody hitting right. Did we hold on?
And then these two guards appear from around the corner of the show. Quick, you guys change your jackets to night mode. The. Guy. Points his. Gun at you, you know. It's not dusk yet, right? Oh. Shit. Son's still setting. Oh, oh shit. Are we not trespassing? You should leave we. Live here. A private vending machine? Yeah, we live here. My new roommate's name is Reeves. He's really cool and I was just stopping by to show my girlfriends. Reeves lives three months that way.
And he's not. Yeah, well, he was giving him a tour of the lot. You know, I was like, hey, look, this is where my neighbors live. And Reeves, Huh. Reeves is working right now, OK? And I was just gonna show my girlfriends here my new spot. All right, Welcome to my crib kind of vibe. But I so I don't. I don't need all of this negative energy. Wolf Cut. OK. So and he, one of their guards walks over to the front door of this shipping container apartment, looks down at the
ground. There in front of the door, on the ground, genuinely right now is the word Dean. So. You're. Dean, huh? Because here's The funny thing. We're going to make sure they're there. Dean's busy, so we have to make sure that he stays busy. Um, she said. Her name was Wolf Cut, not Dean. That's like super ominous and like way more information than I was looking for. So if you don't want to loiter wherever I get it, we'll just go. Do they have some other place to hang out?
OK. Are there guard uniforms like from a company like oh we work for such and such, or are they just like mercenary type guards? They're mercenary type guards that have ripped off their insignias. Like Velcro that pulled off the Velcro techniques. Yeah, you know, it's kind of weird that this place suddenly is like super heavy guarded and stuff like. Yeah, isn't it? Yeah, this place used to be. Yeah. The guard on the other side pulls out his agent and just starts counting turn all.
Right. Come on, girls, let's go in the van. We don't need a fuck with these losers anymore. Not. How these big scary men are afraid of three girls came back. Yeah, TT. Be. Careful you guys. 'S gonna get you. You're so numb. Yeah. No, I'm gonna get in the car. That is what I said I was gonna do. Get in the car. That does not mean I'm leaving. Come up with a Plan B. You all pile into the car, OK, you guys, I do have a Plan B, but I don't think you're gonna like it are.
You gonna run them over? Are you going to? And I'm flooring. Yeehaw. Next time on No Latency sidequest. Kind of like Wanna Hit and Run? You want us to shoot at them? I gotta go. The option is on the table. Get 'em. I like where your head's at though. Ah damn it, I have quite possibly the coolest weapon of all time. So. Cute. That's kawaii as hell. Uh oh. Critical injury table maybe? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, where that came from. Punk, this is Cyberpunk. Bitch, That's.
My cuteness You're right. You're lucky. It's going to be another 6 seconds before I can beat your ass. First thing, I just don't know why I really needed to resort to that. They were being so extra about it, you know? I have a feeling I know who, but maybe we can confirm it. Yeah, I'm good, man. We just we're picking up some super smoking babes over here. Hey, you're coming to our place later, right? We're just tended to be on a new apartment. Just kidding.
