Episode description

We welcome yet another talented guest on today's episode of the No Labels, No Limits podcast! Forrest Rivers is a writer, teacher, and speaker who splits his time between the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and the Colorado Rockies.

When he was around 30, he went on a humbling trip to Maui, Hawaii – where he experienced firsthand the overwhelming power of the Earth. This had helped him overcome a dark period of alcohol abuse.

When he went back home from that life-changing experience, there had been a spark of interest in the spiritual traditions of the Far East. That ignited desire, and Forrest immersed himself in the teachings of Buddhist, Hindu, and Taoist mystics.

Today, Forrest spends his time guiding others to look within and become the best versions of themselves. His newest book just released this year is, COVID-19 and Humanity’s Spiritual Awakening. He previously released, The Hippie Revival and Collected Writings, in 2016.

When asked about the events of the recent pandemic, he says it was like, “a waking moment for us to look and go 'ah-ha' maybe the old ways aren’t working and maybe what we need is a revolutionary direction, an inner revolution... and that’s where the change starts.”
