Watch up and welcome back to another episode and no Seillers podcast with your host Now funk that with your low glasses, Malone. So, I was just on the phone right and I was ordering the same card from my phone, right Tom, and they had like I'm not gonna lie.

My phone be doing all kind of crazy ship like it always say extended, like if I called somebody regular number, you know what I mean, Like if I cast somebody regular number, it'll just go to like a weird T mobile message or like I'm calling out of the country. Feel me when people call it go straight to voicemail

like it's fucked up. You mean it's it's extended. They don't even say like you know five or you know you know, uh, you know what what is all the towers and ship my g is like they don't say none of that. It'd be you still got that three G right, it's during that verse a O dirty. So I was I was hitting him. I'm like they had been trying to send me a SIM car since last year, and I'm like, yeah, I've been chipping off that SIM card,

so fine, like let me get the same card. So I'm on a little text app, right, you know, you're texting them back and forth. So I'm hitting him. I'm like, yeah, you know, I'm ready for the same card. So I said, m here's the address, and he's like, what's phone are you using. I'm like, yeah, I got the iPhone eight. It was like the iPhone eight. He said, you can tell what somebody they texted? You know, we're on thirteen.

Like that was funked up right. I was like, it's just a bit like you just you're trying to phone shame me, because like you're trying to phone sham me. He's like, look, let let me calculate the discount. Like he read ready the upgrade. He said, I got the iPhone A pro, the big I phone eight plus. So they don't even say plus the words like pro max is it so he' said. So he's like, hold on one second, he said, are you thinking about up grad And that's what I thought, a let me see what

the price I can give you. So he comes back, he's like, yeah, we can give it to you for six d and twenty five dollars out the door. Now mind you. I just grabbed joker phone because Joker broke his phone arguing with his ex wife, and so I just gave him like seventeen d dollars to give him a new phone. Right, So I'm like, yeah, I'm not paying no payments though with the six I'm not giving y'all know names, Like, no, that's out the door. Just

hefically text, just please get the new phone. He's like, I know your phone have to not be working correctly. I'm like, it's working fine, No it's not. He's taking me back. So imagine reading the texas as they come through. It's impossible for it to be working right, Yes, it is working fine. He was like, no, it's not working fine.

He's like six hundred twenty five out the door. There's no taxes, nothing, He said, this is just take the just get a new phone, and then literally just logged out of the text now, bro, please get you a new phone. Bro. I Phone eight is outrageous. Bro. Wait, year did that come out? I don't know, like two thousand, I don't don't act like, don't act like it came out twenty years. I Phone come out with three new

phones every year. Probably came out two twenty. No, they come out it probably came I Phone eight, not fourteen. We year did I Phone A Plus come out. I'm gonna google it. Google that. That's funny. Oh Trusty came out seventeen seventeen. Yeah, it's funny. Right. So in computer world, glasses come on, in computer world, I'm making a phone. No, no, think about No, it is a computer. Know how old is the computer you got in front of you right now? Now?

It ain't five years old. You can't run them pro tools on those on that on the fucking pro tools from eight years ago. Man, get you a new phone. I couldn't see this a giant phone. You're a big person, you got big hands. But get you another important important But it wasn't that, man. I don't pay payments on my phone, right, So then it's like then I have to decide it's a new phone worth two thousand dollars for me to make phone calls on? Yes, no it

will now, bro. I got laptops, iPads, I Max, Mac pros, bit Max, I got all kinds of computers. Why am I old? Why is Apple always making me update stuff? You're not making it better worse? And you know the main thing and the main thing I'm holding to know my phone? You know what I'm holding on the mind phone. They too. It has the home button. I have grown comfortable with the home button. I like the home Look.

I hate having to touch my screen. Look, look, look, I have never in my life been affiliated with the game. Because please stop tripping right now. All right, I've never been affiliated with the game. But you are tripping right now. You're tripping. G two child at the motherfucker. That's probably why you never had no service your phone over hill. It's true. She keeps tripping out. I'm trying to get the new tip card. I'm trying to get the new sim card right there. I'm like, sive me the new

sim card. They like sim card this and you are maniacal, by the way, because I know where you're going with this. Your maniacal. But go ahead and continue because I know exactly where you're going with this. But you know, simp friend. All right, phone brother, man, my brother, no cling a square brother. It's telling you my brother, my non square brother, get another phone. Please, thank you. No sailings glasses, Malone

Peters in the route. I got my brothers from my favorite podcast and all the podcasts, which is Hoops and Bruised. Some of the most accurate and funniest takes in all of basketball world. And and you're write time because if we're talking about old things and old phones, and I'm pressured to get a new phone, why should I get a new phone? If my phone was an all time great? Why should I get a new phone that my my iPhone eight is an all time great? Your phone is

not Lebron James stopped playing games. My phone is definitely Lebron. Her phone is Anthony Day. My phone is definitely years and years, years and years of impressive certain What the fuck this is the Lebron James of iPhones, iPhone eight, trusty, reliable, It ran well, years and years. The screen broke that I put the screen back together. It took all the new programming. It was awesome, but you know what happened.

What happened is eventually it stops functioning properly. And even though I can't tell all the time right that it is not functioning properly, it still isn't functioning properly, like right, just like you're telling me, you like, I just want to make phone calls, Lebron Jack, want to just get buckets. But that don't mean that the new models don't have more things. You could use the actual phone for it. It makes perfect sense. It's no, it's not the same thing.

It's the same. It's the same. Lebron is more like, uh, like an old school Chevy than he is an iPhone eight. Bro. He is definitely got an old Yes he is, because sometimes the motherfucker's don't still work. Yes, Frank, the key in that bitch and you're like, it just parts hard to find. It's Chevy. It's not an old school Chevy because you can always make I got old school Chevies that run great right now. You can always fix them and they run great. But like technology, no it's not,

it's over. Eventually you cannot download the radio technology. Yeah, hell yess a radio on my joint. They got radio. That's my whole point. Yeah, my rider worked with my phone. My Chevy work with my phone. Blue too, over got the new HAIRPI over. Lebron James is like a phone like basketball players are like technology, Like eventually it's just over.

There's no updating. You can't put the new ls in there. Lebron, though, there's no but but but the difference between Lebron and the iPhone eight is like there is no better version of Lebron than Lebron. Of course, the is over version of Steph Curry. That's Steph Curry. But when the old model of n over, he's not the old he's not the old model. The new models of the new model is not as is the old model. Lebron is still Lebron. No, he's not none of these. Lebron shot the board twenty

two times a game. Last year we won thirty five games. He played fourty minute But but I don't like that though, because that's that's kind of hypocritically, because you're the main one in let to talk about it's a team game. He was out that playing with G leaguers. He was played after was played. Russell Westbrood played sixty eight games. That's an m v P and and they had a rookie from Alabama starting. They had three Hall of famers starting,

had three Hall of famers starting. Actually, actually, you you have the right thinking, wrong person. Russell Westbrook is who you're thinking about. Russell Westbrook didn't even play as many minutes as Lebron James. You missed my point. Russell Westbrook is who you're thinking about. Because all those cards in the league I've caught up to Russell Westbrook. They're now

bat than him, they're smarter than him. They can go out and get and give you ten rebounds the game they wanted to intend, assist if they want, if they really wanted to, could do that. How many guys Russell Westbrook when last year tell me that can't get you? No ten every No, he can't get, No, he can't, can't, No, he can he cannot, No, he can't heed. He gonna want to have a real question that he gonna do it. Remember I said he's not gonna have a real question

is to hit me up when he retired. I don't think it took. It took Russe until he was in like his a fear to do that. Though, Let's be realistic, like Russell Westbrook is an outdated model of Russell Westbrook. There's no one else James in the NBA. Nobody is lebron noo is over Russell ten years to run the rest of the players off all of his rosters so that he can demand the ball for forty seven and a half minutes a game. Exactly, how can you play

with the like? This is my point, and I don't know how did Lebron's media machine get so good at this? But y'all will blame everybody, like, how is this consist? I didn't blame you can hear me blame Russ. I just said, you're an example of calling Lebron and the iPhone ate your iPhone, which you need to get rid of. It is wrong. Russell Westbrook is the iPhone you need to get rid of. Russell Westbrook is a forty seven million dollar iPhone. And don't wrong. I love Russ. There's

no disrespect to us. Russ is one of my favorite players of all time. He shouldn't be in this for the past. No, no, he is. He should be. Russ is one of the most exhilarated basketball players to ever watch, but he's also one of the most painful basketball players to ever watch, because he doesn't slow down, and even as he's gotten older, he still plays as fast as he did when he was twenty two, and he ain't relaxed.

I disagree with that, though, because he can stand around the rim and get rebounds, he can pass the ball in the pick and roll and get assists. But if he's not making smart basketball players, he's taken away from you and if he's not making threes shooting an all time NBA works from three point percentage, then yeah, it's terrible. Lebron is just know guy, that's a better version of Lebron than Lebron is better version of Janice is a

better version of Lebron. Let me ask your question, how do you blame the person with the highest so so Russell Westbrook who has the highest usage rate on the Lakers team, it's Lebron who shoots the most shot on the Lakers team. That that has nothing to do with anything. Who shoots this the most shot on the Lakers team? That has nothing to do with anything. Just the question. It's go ahead continued, Oh plays the most minutes on the Lakers team. Okay, go ahead continue. It's literally him,

He's the nucleus of the universe. There's never First off, he won more games with players nowhere near as good as Russell Westbrooks. He won as he won more games with more Williams, who is not as good as Russell Westbrook now or ever in life. That did happen. But you're not gonna like he's a better player, but you can't win order. It's not you're not going to win with Russell Westbrook. You're not going to win with Lebron James any longer. That part of the game. There, there, there, there,

There are two things. Lebron has probably seen his best not probably Lebron has seen his best days. I don't know if Lebron can be the focal point on the champions now. I don't know. I don't know. Lebron cannot be the focal point of championship team anymore. Also, also, also, they can't win with Russell Westbrook playing the way that they've been playing with Russell Westbrook. I don't think the team hold on. I don't think as bad as the team was, but the way they was playing the game

of basketball is what made the team bad. As bad as it was, I didn't think Russell would be like, Look, I didn't think they were gonna win a championship. I thought they would be a playoff team, you know, a good team, maybe you know the second round be okay. But when I saw Russell Westbrook in the corner all year, what you want him to do just before teen years? I don't Russell. Russell Westbrook is the least winnable All Star point guard in the history of this league period talking.

You know, it's not name an All Star point guard that is harder to win around in the history of this league than Russell Westbrook. Every other one except Russell west Real Brandon, everybody with me, everybody naming naming every point every all star point guard, step Far, very step Far, mar Bury, Steve Francis. We can keep going. Come down on your mic, a little come down on your mic a little bit, ste Not not everybody's pet Pete Peas, Mike, Superlie,

hot So Westboden. It's harder year and the culture of the year in order to get to the finals with Russell Westbrook. The Thunder went to the finals, okay, in the carter finals, I think in the conference from Russell Westbrook is one of the most successful point guards in this in the history of the league. This is just ridiculous. The problem is when you don't allow him to be the one thing in the NBA he's an all time grade at It's simple, it's not deep. He took a

team last year to the playoffs. This year he's not in the playoffs. So you're gonna blame the second guy with the highest usage rate on the team. Second minutes the second most shots on the team by far. You're gonna blame Anthony Davis. Technically a Davis average thirty five minutes. Okay, you're gonna blame. So you're gonna play the third guy with the third amount of minutes. And this is what

kills me. People talked about injuries for us last season, right, Katie played less games in lebron Kyrie played less games, and Anthony Davis, yet the Nets were in the playoffs. What we like to do here in laker Land ever since the arrival of Your Highness is we're like, we're gonna blame the third guy. We're gonna blame the fourth guy. We're gonna blame the fifth guy. We're gonna blame the fifth guys. We're not gonna blame the two guys we're

giving eighty million dollars to. When in the history of basketball has that ever, to not make the playoffs, to not make a plan. It's really Malik's fault. It's really the fact Kendrick Nunn is hurt. It's really Austin Reid thought we didn't make a play in. It's really injuries fault. We didn't make a play in. It's really Russell. We didn't make a play in play, it's over. Time, it's over, it's over. It's oh and it's okay, that's over. But we have to stop doing the same thing we have

done for this man's whole career. We have to stop. We all know, we all have we all know the King compromises talent. We notice we all have agreed on multiple different platforms that literally he compromised Antoine Jamison his lack of perimeter skills as a scorer, right, his he has to go to the cup or he's this really inefficient three point shooter. Inefficient for a perimeter guard. Right. You have to think the kind of guards that's winning

with that is Steph Curry. That's the only point guard that's winning with that. Chris Paul is not winning with that. Steph Curry the only point guard that has has the focal point of offense that's winning. And it just happened to be that he time to shoot fifty from three, which is crazy. So again we're having simple conversations, yet we constantly keep brushing the blame for every other player. It went from Lebron carries players too. It's everybody else fault.

You're not making a play in. He played more minutes, score more points, took more shots at highest use in rates, and we're losing games. It's nobody else's fault but Lebron James. It's not injuries. Because the Nets made the play in, they won more games. We want to blame Russell Westbrook because we're compromising him. We're saying, hey, don't be a point guard on this team, Russell, because we have Lebron James, and Lebron James is one of the best point guards

in the history, which is ridiculous. He's never been a point guard. He's always been a playmaking small forward that plays from the top of the perimeter. But when you slow down, simple, when you slow down, you lose a step. When you are designated, when they're when the defense because in front of you and you're shooting more threes than you ever having your career. You're about eight to nine, you're thirty four three point shooter. Your offense is inefficient

and it lacks consistency. Not to mention, if you take the best probably one of the better point Russell Westbrook over the last fifteen years is probably Russell Westbrook is a top five point guard. In his last Now, now you're about to lie. Mean, yeah, I'm talking yeah, yeah, yeah, obviously Russell's top five all time. Like, what are we talking about? No, No, he's not. No, yes, yes, you can't name five point guards with better arrestumes depends on what you want. Do you want to win? You want

to you can't. You know you're a liar. That's not lying. Now now you're lying, you're telling a lie. I'm not talking about Magic Johnson and you know good and guy didn't want too Magic Johnson. Somebody names name name somebody else than Steph Curry and Magic Johnson, Oscar Robinson. Okay, I'm fine with that. Cool. Now keep going, mob Couzy, they're the same guy. What's goal? Do you want to win? Do you want to win? Or do you want stats? That's the question. I'll give you Couzy even though he's

not on my list. But I got three, you got four? Go ahead, keep going, Zeke, and I want to say Isaiah Thomas is a far better point guard than No he is not. No, he is not. Do you want to win or do you want stats? With the greatest defensive player to ever play the game of basketball? True, the only time that that Russell was ever any good, was like one of the most loaded rosters of his error with Harden us at six, with third, third or fourth behind behind. That's the same thing you can say

about Isaiah Thomas. What not that Thomas couldn't win without without Dennis Rodman. What are you saying? You're talking about the Katie argument for Russ. Russ couldn't win with Katie and Harden and everybody else on the right was a loaded roster. He couldn't win with that already had the worst series at all of them in whatever get filed by Lebron James at the end, they were loaded for several years. They were loaded for several years, and he

got nothing accomplished. So let's not like I don't like that phrase saying he got nothing to accomplished when Chris Paul only been the one finals in his entire career and never win the m v P. But Christ Paul's not great all time? I agree with guards greater than Russell Westbrook. Okay, you got so, I'll give you z that's four for me. Keep going, Chris Paul is it's about ten guys better Russell west Lying, Jon Stockton is better than Russell Westbrook. He was the first team All

NBA are all all in all defense. He went to two finals. He's a he's gonna win with him nothing. Gary Payton, he went to two finals. That's more than Westbrook ever did. Hold up, hold up, hold up, ja Z Kidd, Steve mash Yes, okay, j Z Kid, he's about team gon Okay, you gott you gotta look at regardless of Russell, regardless when you say that, right, because you're looking at the one first point guard play the game basketball. Ever, here's for sure a top twenty point

guard of all time. And it's been hundreds of point guards in this league. He's for sure in the top top five. No, he's not. I wouldn't go that point. But if you know what, if you want to get to hold me that much credit, cool, I ain't gonna fight you. The point I'm saving he is tame. How much do you listen? It takes Lebron James playing with Lebron James going to be a parody. You turned him

into a parody. I'm not mad at that. So then can we actually get to the point of where can we actually get to the point of where the Lakers are and why they are there. It's the nucleus. You have to alter the nucleus. Can I ask you a question? And I'm gonna ask this to Peter actually because Peter

you follow basketball, right, Not really, but I'm familiar enough. Well, basically, once Frank Vogel got fired, they were all doing their exit conferences and stuff, and Russ basically was like, when I first got signed to the Lakers, Basically, I think he said, he brought like um, like Frank Vogel, like a bottle of like wine or something like that. It's like kind of like a you know, like you know I'm on the team now, It's like a gift, and

gave it to him. And basically he said, like ever since like the first day, in the first interaction he had with Frank Vogel, Frank never liked him, so even offensively. It wasn't necessarily it was Lebron that basically Frank never wanted to like put him in the spots he wanted to be in. So you can go to the corner. No, you don't do what I'm saying, So you don't hold

So this is what I'm saying. So we come out next year we see a completely different team now that they've got a different coach that actually don't try to give Russell the vault and more position to succeed. I don't. I just feel like it's kind of hard for me to judge. Last year, if the coach didn't like the man and Lebron traded for the man Russell, well, here's

the here's the issue with the Lectors. Hey, Russell's had seemingly beefs with like most of his coaches, but like the problem with the Lakers is the same thing as the problem with Lebron James. Career. Teams want him on the roster so bad that they will let him play GM and he's not very good at it, so he puts together these rosters of guys he thinks are good or that he likes or he wants to hang out

with or whatever the hell else. It's been like that since forever, and the teams don't have on the court chemistry, and then you try to analyze what's going on on the court, it makes no difference. I mean, any idiot can look back and go boy spacing wise, how exactly is Russell Westbrook style and Lebron James style gonna successfully coaches in the same basketball court. It's impossible. It's an idiotic proposition. It can work. He just Lebron can't play

the way. He can't play the way he's one of the two of them. Is gonna have to become a different human being for it to work. And then it can work. You traded for the man Lebron you want nobody Lebron. Russ can become nobody different like Lebron. Neither of them two guys at this point are gonna become anything different enough. I think, I know, I think Lebron him do. It is great enough to shape shift into at least two to three different people. Russell Westbrook can

play again, smaller forward. He ain't a power forward. You don't got to shape shift with it. You can't make Russell grow from six three to sixteen. You he's not a power not power forward. You're not a stretch for. You can't make a six three guy be that right? And then he's not a good three point You're a better three point shooter. You're six ten, you rebound better. Oh my god, is it obvious? But again, we talked about this. He could actually probably that's almost the same

amount of points. It's just it has to look different, has to come from different areas. He also probably wouldn't get hurt as much if he wasn't playing feet away from the basket, because it allows for you to just it allows for more things to happen. I thought what I thought would happen when Russell Westbrook game here, I was like, Okay, he's gonna take some pressure off Lebron. He'll you know that rust the ball at Russ drew her dab it will help you know, um a d out,

It will help Braun out. I didn't think that they that that, you know, they would win the championship. But I don't think last season had to look the way it looked. Even with Russ, he didn't really play as bad as you think he can. It was it could have. You could have let Rusty Russell cut. No, you have to conceeed Pete like, that's the thing, right, And this is what Patty saying. We had this conversation before last season, and we talked about it. I said, look, we talked

about it on Hoops and Bruis. Matter of fact, make sure when y'all listen once y'all listening to podcast I'm gonna make sure Tom and Path gonna put up the hoops and Bruce pot where we talked about how I talked about how bad the Lakers will be because it was no way possible Lebron would actually start playing power forward because he's sixteen. But even though we should, right, I actually predicted he would actually struggle with injuries because

it's time, right you. In year nineteen, I actually predicted he would play too many minutes for it to work out. In year twenty, like, historically he needs to play less minutes. I need to be around twenty eight minutes a game. That's why he would be at twenty two points. But he'd be a more efficient twenty two points. He have more rebounds, we'd be controlling more possessions. But for this to work, you have to get the most out of

Russell west Brook. Russell Westbrook can carry your offense. Historically in the NBA, he's carried offenses. He's still a lot closer to the prime of his career than Lebron James. He's still a lot closer to the peak of his power than Lebron James. So at this point you let him carry the offense because he could carry your other guys and get buckets, but floor positioning matters. Like there's this weird thing and I appreciate this about Pete to

understand spacing in geometry and this conversation. People feel like, oh, you know Hooper, you can who from anywhere. Kareem couldn't shoot the three point hook shot. It just wasn't like that Tim Duncan can play nineteen ft away from the cup. It's just not like that. The game is built right, rhythm, comfortable usage. How are you using the floor the way Lebron has been doing, you know, geometrically for years and ship of driving the ball because he can't stop in

the midrange and pull up issue the jumper right. So you always have to keep everybody away. This year we're going to to a phase. I've had to talk to people. I'm like, Yo, we're not getting rid of Russell Westbrook. We need that fifty million dollars back at the end of the season. We need that money. Russell Westbrook contract is up at forty seven million. Lebron James contract is

up at forty four million. That's ninety one million. Kendrick Nuns contract, that's five million he got one more, that's ninety six million. We would have a hundred million dollars to go back in and reach spooler lineup where we have Anthony Davis that we need to even restrict his

minutes to keep him at a suitable minute. Russell Westbrook is the perfect person for the Lakers success right now, because why you need to play Lebron James for twenty eight minutes, Why you need to play Anthony Davis for eight minutes to keep them fresh for the for the postseason. You have a workhorse, a guy who doesn't get injured.

I'll just laugh. We're took my trade for Kyrie. We have one guy who literally has who literally has propelled offenses with no great other offensive players into the post season, and we're gonna get rid of him to get somebody who doesn't push people into the postseason, somebody who has been injured. So you have two injury plunge guys. Lebron James at this point in his career as a Laker,

he played fifty some games. The first time, he played sixty games, and second season because we got COVID, he played fifty games, and third season and he played fifty games this season, fifties, sixties, fifty fifties. It's not rocket science. It's not that deep. Russell Westbrook is a workhorse. He played as many games as they would let him play.

Why would you get rid of the load? So you need a hundred million because you don't got a ton of picks because you didn't pretty much salvage the offense to try to win. Now, so the two guys who you need to depend on the postseason, you're gonna depend on him in the regular season. One guy is older than he's probably like great, like Basketball Miles, he's great grandfather basket bow mars, right, and then you got Anthony

Davis right. You you spreading him out, so he's rolling to the cup twenty two ft away when he's been prone to injuries, his limbs are long. This is simple math, Like what are we doing? Like this is what's killing me about the Lakers. There's a delusion that's like, well, Lebron bro it's over. He couldnot. Lebron James couldnot be the second best player on the team. If you put Lebron James on the same team with with the Bucks and you traded Chris Middleton, they would be less effective

it's not gonna work. If you put Lebron James on the Celtics team, they would be less effective right now because what you would need to demand out of him where he's that defensively, he's far removed from there, and offensively, it takes too much for him to get it. Look, it takes minutes. He's sitting at the top of the kid dribbling and taking two steps back. So not only are you twenty three ft away at the three point line, you took four more feedback to try to get a

running start to get to the cup. You've been in the NBA. Man, you got like he's like a core. He's a million miles the second generation injured. The more mileage Pete, it takes longer than hell. You know Pete as a runner. You ran, man when you used to get hurt when you was a young stuff. Man, you're here up in the day, you're gonna broke your Leg'll back out here next week. Lebron get a cut toe now, he's not back tomorrow. If it's toe, Neil fall off,

they're like, oh my god, it's gonna take us. And they always lied to you, like man, Lebron will be back in two weeks and it beats two thousand weeks. They don't want people to not buy tickets for the next weeks of games. What the Lakers need to do is simple. The Lakers need somebody. We need to limit Anthony Davis's minutes this year. We need to limit Lebron James minute this year. We need to let Russell Westbrook

be Russell Westbrook. It's not more important to let Lebron James be Lebron James than it is to let Russell Westbrook be Russell Westbrook. Because if you're not letting Russell Westbrook be Russell Westbrook, is you're getting a half of a player, then who is he? He can do one thing. Lebron James is the greatest combo player in the history. To get the two guys then need to not overlap at the same time. They played twenty four minutes a game each opposite one another, and try to survive the

regular season and then the playoffs. Just be happy you made the playoffs because it's not gonna work well. The thing is, if you get them to the playoffs, then the experience can matter, but you also have to be fresh, so you can't be playing Ron James played forty minutes. Who the what do you think you're doing? How many years minutes? Koreine and called him alone. Play that, you know what starts to happen to your body. At this point, it's becomes no what he wants because no one wants

to leave the guy. He refuses to have leadership over his head, and nobody wants to intervene and be the adult in the room that he's sitting. A fair Kareem did not play over uh thirty seven minutes a game his career after the age of thirty three, but he did pretty much played minutes until he was thirty nine, and then he started playing two. That's where Lebron was that a season ago. He should have been playing at eight.

Why are we playing Lebron jack because he's because he's a narcissist and he's obsessed with fucking caring all the fucking it is. It's it's the story of his life. Look at the man. All the problems that happened with Lebron's teams and the Lakers are problems that occur before the tip off of the first game that are irreportable once the tip off happens. It's the truth to that. I don't know about the narcissist. I just think you

don't know about the narcissism. No, I don't know. He had a whole show to tell us he was gonna take his talents. Yeah. Yeah, it is weird. And he is the he is the ancillary career killer. I mean he he's basically turned he's he's he's like turned uh Davis into into love now. I mean, he was the best player in the league and then he goes with Lebraun and now was he He's a forgettable guy. He's that guy used to have an eyebrower, like no care.

Anthony Davis was one of the most sought after free agents in basketball, even with injuries like bro Niggas right, like the way people are talking about Anthony Davids right, Like they don't think Anthony Davis is better than Luca Done. I don't know why people play with him. Still, He's not better than Luca Dodge's You need to be stopped. Ridiculous. He was like a damn neu No no, no, no, no, no hardaway post, like doing the Kyrie side. I heard

people say they would trade Kyrie Irvan. No, no, no, they would trade a D for Kyrie Irvin. What are you doing, Luca, Because that's because they're still holding on What are you doing? That's because they're still holding on to the Calvs glory days. That's like right now they have to get into a fighting, like I'm gonna get Larry Holmes to fight you right now. It's like, Bro, It's like Larry Homes will be Tyson Fury brother. It is different. Things have changed, and they're holding onto the cast.

Even that two thousand sixteen cast was Lebron's twilight. Like we got lucky in two thousand twenty, we wanted right, but we had a team full of vets man. Them dudes probably had a thousand years of experience together, and then we got We only played sixty regular season games and we got a three month break going into the postseason and no travel in the postseason either, which makes

a difference at that also injuries up traveling. So like it was, I don't want to say cater to our strength because obviously a worldwide pandemic with a killer like COVID has nothing to do with like God wanting the Lakers to we I don't think Kobe is that powerful

with heaven. You know, I don't think he's like he got but they wouldn't have won it without COVID I'll say that, yes, damn right no, And if you really think about it, you're seeing we wouldn't have because if you look at the first year the following year, you're seeing how time ages own bodies. Right, So we got something special even when Lebron out of his twilight. You know, the two sixteen was the powers of Lebron's powers, like and we saw it. It worked out for them, you mean,

but that is gone. That was year like thirteen or fourteen. That's a lot. Now we're in year twenty and people are still believing Lebron James. What if Lebron James bro it is? Oh, what did hell is want with y'all? This year twenty isn't then they played a million games? What do you think it's going on? How we started

and how we started this pod? Like right, he's like yo, Russell Westbrook, the Russell rest Brook played the third amount of minutes, took the third least amount of shots, third users rate, and we talk about what he did while we didn't make a plan. We were at the eleventh seed. That's when Lebron James taking twenty two shots. Highest uses right in many different starting lineups that you all have. You had like thirty five plus different starting lineups during

the sea. But it was some goos like they shouldn't have just lost. Understand I understand that a lot of them didn't started laming Lebron use Russell Westbrook was out there for seventy eight of them because they was using him Rome Bro. There were so many blame the coach, They blame the time and they would have missed the playoffs. He actually took one coach in this league is gonna step in and tell Lebron James, you're gonna play this way against your will? Which coach in this league? He didn't?

Comed routine Lebron hand picks coaches that will coach everyone around him to acquiesce to what he wants. Louis didn't get along at the end because he's uncoachable. Bandn't get along at the end. Why do you think the day was having panic attacks and ship? How do you think you get the job in the first place. Do you think that that that the powerful leadership in Cleveland and Lebron James is hell. I think that's why he was having panic attest. I think he's probably stressed in general,

he might have been going through some health ship. I don't know dealing with Lebron James. There's a lot, bro and they was also the one person who deserves let's blaming everybody is the coach last year. He is a defensive mastermind. We did not give him defensive talent. That's all our fault. Everybody else fault, but vote vo shout out to Voge. I'm glad they freed you, brother. I'm sorry how they did it, but for sure, this is not your fault. You are a defensive mastermind, and we

gave you defensive pieces. You did amazing things, fantastic things, and one day we woke up and decided we was gonna give you a bunch of offensive talent and then blame you. That's like to blame if twinkies got in front of a fat person and sat down ten twinkies. We're gonna blame hostess. We're gonna blame the fat person. This is what that person do. We know what this person is about, so let's just need to get smart.

It's twinkies. He blac the leaguers. They need to bring back D'Antonio, and they need to run Lebron's knees right out of this league like they did with Kobe Brant. I like it. You know what's funny. I had an epiphany. I like D'Antonio two better than D'Antoni. That's his new name, Dantoni. They needed to get rid of Kobe. They had all that contract. How can we get rid of Kobe? We're just gonna bring in D'Antonio run his knees right on out of this right, Howard of so much slack. But

that's the exact same thing in reverse. Right, you have Kobe Bryant and and and and and the White Howard. You know how many all defensive first teams that he is that's probably about twenty, and you go hiring the one motherfucker who don't talk about defense and nothing. Why is Mike damn Tony coaching? Oh? The Ron artists, Cood Ryan and the White Howard. I'll tell you why this is happening. And then we blamed the white Howard and

we blamed the white Howard. Were like the white you fuck you know, thewite city like couldn't feel his leg at some point that season, like that's how heard he was playing that he couldn't feel. I wonder what was wrong with his legs. I wonder what happens to everybody's leg? I wonder what's wrong with James Harden right now? I wonder what happened to Steve Nash. I wonder what happened

to everybody's leg what happens to people? It's because look, the post Bus Lakers our Hollywood people, and they worry too much about entertainment and brand names. That's why they always have these old, dying stars because they know, Look, no, seriously, think about it. You right up the street from Hollywood, who's the who is still at his old fucking ass age, the biggest drawing fucking Hollywood. Tom fucking asked crews he did a billion dollars in that stupid remake movie. No

one can touch the fucking guy. I don't care what anybody says. The numbers don't lie. And who's the most recognizable name in the league ten years ago? It's Kobe Bryant. We gotta give him a Fortunately, he's the most recognizable name. Same with Lebron. They don't understand that actors have a little bit more longevity than ballplayers. Swear the gun the money out of me A season they took. They took a lot of money out of media. See I'm I will go see lebronze age playing a point. I took

a lot of money out of be this season. Thanks for contributing. I know. I'm sorry. He's not a Laker fan, so he don't care. Bro, he don't care. Like I noticed, Lebron fans don't care that we're suffering. They're like, it's everybody else. As a Laker fan, I'm like, Bro, it's not cool. I mean, I love and I hate that list like I have. It's frustrating. It's frustrating to have these conversations. Man, it's frustrating because I want good things

for the Lakers. Again, I just saw too many times last year which Lebron would be at the top of the key, he would drive and rough Westbrookers to Russell Westbrook in the corner. I'm like, Yo, what do you think he's gonna do time? We're supposed to stand shooter, what is he supposed to do time? What is your is he? Derek? Look, I'll put it this way. At a certain point, as I said earlier in the game, earlier and not in the game, but in the in

the game that is this podcast. When you when you're Russell Westbrook and you're still playing at a hundred and you're not twenty two years old anymore, you gotta adjust, I don't care. Get your ass in a fucking gym and shoot in the corner. You getting paid forty seven million dollars a year TV who learns how to shoot? A year? If I see forty seven million dollars a year next like jay Z learning? But no, but nobody, nobody would pay. No, one would pay forty seven mills

for a quarter shooter named Russell Westbrook exactly. But you gotta get why the hill did you? He does more things than that. But if you're rust and you can and you you, you allow yourself to be relegated to the corner because they don't even have to fucking guard. What's he gonna do? Duke it out with Lebron at the top of the kid. They're gonna have an m M A batch question. I got a question, what's Russell

Westbrook go to shot? Getting to the room? Motherfucker? Dive into the cup, the layoup Okay, outside of that, what else? The other layoup, the free throw off the shot Banks bank shot. That's a terrible fucking shot. Get another Rolls got another shot? No, why are you Brandy Rose? Got another shot? How does he make? How does this blake what I'm just saying, like, I'm not blaming us at the top of the perimeter because because he runs the franchise. That's why I want to talk about the nucleus of

the Lakers first. Can we not talk about the third youse guy on the team? Yes? And what does Dames need to do anymore? He said? What does he need to do this year? Let's start with the nucleus. The main thing if I'm Lebron, that I need to be working on this year is my three is my three point corner shot? Right me? Trying to take the ball and post up? Yes, he has to. If I'm Darvin Hamm, bro, you gotta get in the corner sometime, big fella, you think you think Darvin Hamm is like for real? You

think what are you talking about? This? The whole argument? Get what you talk? Okay, yes, I understand that. But if you're a rush you still have to be you still have to make shots ge but like, bro, like, how does that exactly what I said earlier? I said, one of these two guys the NBA is shooting is terribly from the corner, as Russell Westbrook you can't name. How does that make sense? He's been that way to career,

so he has to get better and address otherwise. You're so he is eight t p stop stop stop, lay hold on, hold on for as bad as you talk about Rose West last year he's still averaged eighteen eight. You know, it's only one other stop eight turned over the game. Stop stop stop stop. You know it's only

one other person who did that. You know he shot the exact same he shot from the actually shot better from the field somehow the last year that he did the year before and Watchington when he averaged twenty ten and then what was his uses I'm sorry, what was his usage? Right in Washington? I think it's like five points hire So basically he would do that ship with Lebron James Anthony based on the floor just get better. Listen to what better than what I'm saying? The corner

makes a three point corner shot. Basically he had to How are you that's the whole backbot what first of all, back for shoes? What point guard is ever positioned in the corner in the first place, except I know, stop? How many fucking bank shots did you see him? Clay Horn left you wearing a fan because he's shooting the place here, You're shooting the motherfucker from gee if he was way to funk off the fairway get this right time. Just want to blame Lebron when taking threes and throwing

bank shots in the fucking stance. That's not Lebron j Anthony David's fault. Anything fell off to read the fucking rookie from Alabama who I never heard of before day in my life, played ten games for them and start line up. It ain't they felt rock player with a side car fell the old as Anthony. There's a very strong cage that you can say it is Lebron James's fault that Russell Westbrook has to be moved to the corner. Is everybody else? You're right? Is everybody else fault? Did

you hear me blame? Did you do you me say? I said, you just literally talked about you literally talked about that. You literally talked about Nicklas. We gave one million dollars too, Yes, Wire and who you just talked about. I hear they on your roster. Who else are you gonna give If you're giving three people one hundred and thirty million dollars? I am not the fucking president of the Lakers. Blame that on Lebron James and the presidents of the Lakers. Ron can definitely call Rob Lincoln say

do not sign, and then that mad Rob Laker. What is that gonna matter? Who else are you gonna get for one million dollars? Look what you thought you was gonna get in this leave. This is the case that Tucker's ten million dollars. They didn't need to trade for Russell Westbrook. You could have kept sucking. Kyle Kuzma. You know what they needed to try because you talked about them the year before. You're ungrateful as talked about them the year before we lost in the Cows like the life.

You ain't never heard me. You have account slander, Kyle Kuzman. You've heard hatty do it? You allow everybody else in the same season, Hell East slander. You are Kyle Kuzman slander everybody that's not Lebron James did not have Kyle Kuzman slander. Kyle Kuzman did his job. Then why are we talking about somebody who gave a million dollars too? Because they fucking traded for Russell Westbrook. So now the rest of the team, we weren't better without west or Westbrook.

We weren't better. You weren't better. Will that could have been better? So you know what the thing that makes it consistent impossible? You know, you know who was better before he played for the Lakers, Russell Westbrook. You know what happened when he came and playing the same thing happened to Kyle Kuzman. Whenever you play with the same Kyle Coulson with the championship, playing with Lebron James and thinks that number slander for him. So what, he's still

a champion, he's still not. He played well and he's not game. They had five or six or different the people look, look, look and guess what Kyle Kuzman doing the same ship he was doing when he played with the Lakers. Just a little bit more. All right, Let's not act like Kyle Kuzman was something fucking virtuoso, which I thought he was gonna turn into but I was wrong. But no, get the funk out of a team is just not good. He's playing, he's gonna be. It could not.

It was not a good and well constructed team. Because the news is all Bird I don't even agree with, is bad. It makes the egg bad. Once your that conclusion that the centerpiece of the Lakers is the problem, you can't look at you listen, you talk ship and you're playing Kyle Kuzmcasey p Now it's Russell Westbrook. You always you ain't realized it's the one thing that's consistent.

You know where Russell Westbrook was last year. You know what Russell Westbrook was last year in the playoffs And look at Bradley bed without Russell Westbrook saying not in the playoffs. You know the different. You know how many games last playoffs last year? Listen, you know how many games and Wizards won last year? More games in the Lakers won this year were Russell Westbrook? All of a sudden, it ain't hit you yet, the same consistency of all this.

You want to give credit for the wins, You're not gonna get credit to the six dollars for making the playoffs. For Kyle Kosman, all them guys the year before and Russell Westbrook coming to the team and they fucking flame it out. You're missing the point. You were blaming him that we only got to the first round. You didn't give credit to Anthony Davis for why we got there.

We would have got swept or not got there. This year it's not working because you know why those gaming more than anybody you know who game to the step back Lebron James, I bet you the numbers got you confuel because you're looking at the numbers. But the problem is when you have the highest youth, it's raid on the team and you turn into Bradley Bill. Sit down and shut up, because that's all you are is Bradley Bill. You're six nine Bradley fucking Bill. You're not going anywhere anywhere.

So when you pumped up and you're telling me all this joy about how is Russell Westbrook faulk the third usage rate or how he came shoot from three, you need to focus on Nikolas shoot nine threes that don't shoot the fishal that's what you need to Ron James Hayter, what what Because it's actually literally ridiculous when you think about it. He's the nucleus to win him like he's the nucleus the failures. Okay, it's over over here. He's not gonna win a championship, but if you want to over,

he will. It's not the last a whole season. Any Davis plays more than fifty games, next year, the Lakers will be fine. Now you need Anthony Davis to make the playoffs. Why do you keep saying that bro? Who else is on the team. You've been saying his hard career, he has hunting seven million dollars in cap room, the hard cap? Who you you know what Russell Westbrook did? What last year? They won more games than we won with the Lakers? When his users right with eyes on team,

we want more games. If his JUSS rate is hiding everybody else in the team right now, we'll win more games. All right, all right, it's over. Tom is over. It's over over and it's okay that as hell. When they resigned Lebron for two more years, you're also paying russillars. You also resign him on the max. They're gonna sign Lebron cruising him for two years, giving him max him lex. Look, listen, he's watch this year watch how this year play out,

like watching what we had this conversation. At the end of this year, he will not get the map, and then he's gonna move and go and run. He's not going to retire later, he's not going to retire. Laker that owns not going to happen. What's the name of the Chelsea chain, the Chelsea team that the Finnway Group owned, Pete, do you know? Does he have an extension right now?

Does he have an extension? No? There is no where on earth there's a group of people with money who are dumb enough to let Lebron run a franchise Las Vegas. This is the different This is the difference. I damn that bet my life on it. I'm gonna tell you're gonna die. Let me tell you Somethingbody, the Mother show Brother only value is on the court. It's not off the court. Let me tell you about the show. Let me tell you about the show. Nigga. Nobody is bigger

than this program. Nigga, all right, Nobody, not Magic, not Kobe, not Cap not Shock Nobody. This ain't nothing new. Listen, let me this ain't nothing new to us. Tom. We're not the bulls. We're not the cast. We're not the heat. This is the show. This is the show we loyal to when you loyal to us, that's how we work. But we also ain't crazy. This is the show time, that's the big show. We're not paying nobody a honey million because you were something ten years ago. But they didn't.

It was still a possibility of what he could be and we got a chance. What about Kobe? They did it with Kobe? That was that was the worst. We were loyal to Kobe because he gave us his whole life. That was his knee. He gave us his knee, and we gave him some money. But all the time before that, okay, so so in other words, at the end of his career, he wasn't on the max I guess he was the last two years was he wasn't even change. We decided, listen,

we decided we wasn't even tripping about winning. We gave our nigga the support he desired to finish his career. We owed it to him. We don't owe this nigga nothing. And if you think by the end of this season we're gonna get this nigga the match, you got another thing coming. Jack Nigga's just crazy. We're not going to make the playoffs again. It's the same groofballs upstairs it's been. Genie is not paying him. Trust me, she's a woman. She's not gonna pay him. No more universal consequences. We

want him to break her. Women are the harshest, most fucked up people on the planet Earth. Trust me saying she's going to abort lebron You a woman's choice, A woman's motherfucking choice.
