It has to deal with with a standard within particularly American comedy and American media in general, where you can't say anything about anybody if

you're not a member of the same group. So there are trans comedians who do great material and have great shows, and they talk a lot about being trans. But because there are transits, okay, if you're not ends you want to talk about trans in some capacity, it's not okay.

So why can black people talk about white people? That has to do with that again, Like they call that the intersectional hierarchy, meaning like from an exploitative standpoint, anybody can make fun of of white straight Christian male there at the bottom because they're the greatest exploiter. Therefore they have the most vulnerability and the least like to stand on from that perspective, So, if you're black, you can make fun of somebody who's white. If you're white, you

can't make fun anybody was black. If you're black, you probably can't make fun of somebody who's gay. But if you're gay, you might be able to make some fun of somebody who's black, depending on how you do it, And you can certainly make fund of somebody who's white if you're gay. was called, but I watched it a million times. They talked about God, cool, this is a great juice, we have a great drink, like that whole ship. Like I thought, I was, like, this is the greatest thing. Dave used to be so fucking corny to me, because like Dave used to be corny, Like when they fucking put out half Baked bro Half Baked was so fucking corny and horrible.

And I think if you asked Dave, I only said, because I believe you said it publicly, I'm not try to put words and mouth like that, but like he submitted what he wanted Half Bakes to be and the production company gave us what we saw, and those two things were not particularly close to one another. Dave was so corny and I remember when The Chappelle Show came out,

m H and I liked a couple of his scenes. Um, I like Dave Chappelle seen and uh and the movie would uh Eddie Murphy, Well, he was in both movies with Eddie Murphy. He was in the movement Robert that he was in a movie or Robbed the Narrow and and Eddie Murphy Showtime. Nobody liked the movie, but I liked was. I think that was the movie I saw.

I liked him in the Martin No, Martin Lawrence, Martin Lawrence. Uh, the movie was in the Yeah when he was in the car no no, no, when when he was trying to win when Mary Lawrence was in that truck one time and oh yeah, yeah, yeah, Well he's played like the police. Because that film I started comingmy like, okay, he you know Blue Street, Yeah, because it's the one that jay Z got that bad song too. It's one of the few times JZ got a bad song. On a side note, when I drove this old SOB from Chicago to l A, I stopped in this is how I was heavy for food, right, you know, I think about when you just said that Richard Prior movie I drove it was. I got a Ravioli. It was a best drive I had in my life. And like suburban South Chicago, all the Italian community kept it pushing, and I barely got to salt and smoke in St. Louis before they closed. They sell rib singles a dollar apiece, and they have a bar that would break my heart. Like I could go back there and sit at that joint for three or four years if they let me. And they sold them one at a time for a dollar. And they had pulled pork sliders for a dollar apiece. And I'm talking like real St. Louis barbecue. Oh man, mm hmmm, I need a moment to myself. So long story short, the way I looked at Dave coming in the game, he was just like a kind of a corn ball and I was like, it's corny, but you know. But when the Chappelle Show finally hit and

I was like, Oh, this motherfucker like real slick. Yeah, he like really really slick. And he walked away from the money. And I'm hearing from people that I know that know him, you know, a couple of parties and they're like and then they gain no, no, dope, the same ship thing. When they was trying to say Cat was on drugs and this that in the third he was getting in all that trouble, I'm actually, oh, yeah, you when I'm talking to Cat, when I'm working with Cat,

I didn't see that. If anything, I thought he was a drunk. And he talked about from a position of like where you could tell people was on him about turning down a deal. So this is before Dave should happened. He had turned down like an opportunity. I think it was with a you know, because the big ship you're gonna have to be, you're gonna have to probably pick a number on things that didn't work out between Cat

and Corporate America. But it's one specific thing. It's one specific company that do all of the concerts and uh oh like a G. This is so this is I think before or after a G. It's uh, jay Z got to deal what's the name of jay Z Company? Live Nation. So somebody came to him with a big deal and it didn't make sense for him, so he turned it down, and I watched his life start going to hell, like crazy reports on it. And this is something I saw my own eyes, because I remember when

the deal was offered. I know who was a part of it. They offered him this deal and this big money. But he was doing so good. She's like, I'm cool. Next thing, I know, all this crazy to start happening to him. That's wrong, what all of it? All of it's wrong. Wrong. Well, he might have turned the deal down or something like that, but as far as the unraveling or whatever, the funk of Cat Williams, like I used to roll with Red Grant all the time. The Red Grant open for him for years, and they ran

together socially personally for years. They still get them for sure. Yeah, they're great, and I love Red and I love Cat and they're great people. I had heard through the grapevine that like the grape vine, you can see what you want to say. But like Ready used to have to step in front of Cat because he would get in fights and start fighting. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not talking about like that. I'm talking about high reported to the media. Yeah, but even if like, okay, here's another example.

He I believe in Shug pull the gun out and he pulled a gun out TMZ reporter. I was there that night. Regular people do. our background, that's cool. Should nobody even paid attention that should did it? Cat is a comedian, so they want to see him as his mainstream entity. He's not even where we find did it. I'm not saying Cat didn't do it. I'm telling you. They made him seem like a crazy man, and he's not. He's close man. Like like I think the room it was like ten of us, five nobodies, not nobodies, and these are people that are supports, staff type of people, assistance man curious, people like that

Red Cat Real, Rick Ross Freeway, Reck was there. Freck has never had a facal expression in the I've been around for Free or Wreck and ten for ten hours, and I remember this story. But the only way the reason he feels that way is because people look at Cat not like he one of us. You look at Cat as a successful entity. Now they're putting out reports he's on drugs. Now, they're putting out reports he hit his wife. These are all the reports I'm seeing, and most of the stuff is not true, and that becomes the same situation, Like you gotta believe Pete. It's a powers you see guy Martin, the d C guy read a d C guys. There's a lot of DC guys. Even what's his name who started deaf comedy Jam a DC guy. Like, it's not an accident that there's a ridiculous proportion of DC people

over there. I used rolling all those guys to be around those guys. I never heard the same type of things I heard about Cat, I heard about other parties. But I've heard about Martin, I've heard it about Eddie. I've heard it about all of them. That Okay, if you're a comedian, no no. If you're successful in black no no. If you're a comedian, you have fucking mental problems. I'm not kick you got mental problems. I think you

see the see this is the problem you have. If you I tell you to this day, I'll stand by this to my death bed. If you're a successful comedian you have mental problems, I don't think that. I think you see the world differently. It's deeper than that I don't think so I think deeper. It's just it's it's a safe way that people want to believe we all see the world the same way. Pete. So it's crazy for people to believe that I would value a great offensive player. I would value a great defensive player the way you value a great offense. I do That's how I said, and it sounds crazy to people. Oh, Dennis right, it don't matter. Dennis Robman is a two

time defensive Player of the Year. It don't matter that the Detroit Pistons, right, the bad boy Pistons, they were the number one or number two defense the two years they won the championships. Isaiah Thomas was not one of the better defenders on the team. Their offense was always below ten. They always had an average offense. So your best offensive player, right, is leading your team to the decent the average offense. Your best defensive player is leading

your team to the best defense, the NBA's best. You're winning championships with defense. That's how I see the game when I look at the set, when I look at the seventy sixers and two thousand one, the Kim Bay Mutamba one defensive player of the year. They got six men of the Year, Coach of the Year with defensive players. Number one defensive NBA. Alan Harvison gets the credit is the worst defender on the team. I mean he figures out how to be grace, make steals. He led the

league of steals. But it's obviously defense is getting it done. As the head as the centerpiece. But it's how I see it, so there they can be like me and you're tripping is scoring. I don't have the hero syndroma watching Jordan shoot the last shot. I don't have the hero syndromea magic shooting the last shot. I still see the game completely. Offense sales tickets, defense wins game. Offense has always so back to the point, I genuinely like talking to Cat the times I funk with him and

hung with him. I don't think nothing wrong with him. He sees even you. I know somebody was like, man, Pete, pray something wrong with Pete? I said, know, he sees the world the way he sees the world. You don't do it on purpose, you can't help it. I talked to you enough to when you just be like, yeah, this motherfucker blah blah blah. You don't even try for sure. But again, oh motherfucker.
