Check this out.

Speaker 1

We've also pinned shave by Laportier at the top of the chat. You know, we got Valentine's Day right around the corner, we got the Super Bowl right around the corner, we got Saint Patrick's Day, and I'm sure someone has a birthday that's right around the corner. So go out and get yourself a bottle, or go out and get someone a bottle from some that's someone special in your life. Ladies, your man of Hey, you'll thank me later. Ladies and gentlemen,

you'll thank me later. Let's get right into it. Ohoe. The Chiefs beat the Dolphins twenty six to seven. It was the fourth Coders game to start at kickoff. I think the wind chills started at minus four, got all the way down to minus eight, and the Chiefs dispatch of the Dolphin was twenty six to seven. Patrick Mahomes was very very impressive twenty three and forty one, two

sixty one one touchdowns, no deception. Isaiah Pacheco ran the ball extremely hard, uh and they did a great job of controlling the clock and the Chiefs dispatch of the Dolphins.

Speaker 2

What when you look at this game, what did you take away from it? Man?

Speaker 3

I took away from the game. Listen, I said it before the game even started. I said it throughout the week before the game happened. We have to be able to establish the run. We got the established run with a chain and moster, they get them out of that two safety shell so they able to so they can they play two men, they play two to two DWN,

they play two man, they pay fifty five. They lock on our side with the safety up over top, and if we can't establish the run, they get them to bring in safety downhill so we can so the runk and open up the pass.

Speaker 4

It's gonna be a long day for us.

Speaker 3

What did they do? They did the same thing all day. They used the front floor. They was able to stop the run with that without without the added man in the box.

Speaker 4

And that was what you saw from this game.

Chiefs beat Dolphins

Speaker 3

We couldn't we couldn't throw the ball well, we weren't able to run the ball effective enough to have any impact on the game. And basically that's all it came down to, you know, in this game and why we the offense.

Speaker 4

What was it not almost the number one offense?

Speaker 1

It was number one into the number two in points, number one in total yards, number one pass yards average, about five point one yard per rush, which led the NFL. I think there was fourth in total rush yards, but they had the number one total yard of offense, number two in points.

Speaker 3

Listen the game like this, the game where it matters most. You understand what you have to do. You've already played the Chiefs. You know what the Chiefs are gonna do. They don't do anything. They don't do anything pretty on defense. They don't do anything exotic on defense. They line up and they play. Yes, they're gonna bluff a little bit. They're gonna play a brown on the defense in the secondary.

They're gonna come down, but they're gonna get back to the same formation at the snap of the ball and do the same thing over and over until you get them to come out of it. And the only way to do that tonight, I said it before the game started. We got to be able to run the ball. We got to be able to run the ball effectively in order to be able to throw the ball.

Speaker 4

And what happens, same thing, same thing again, yeah.

Speaker 1

Oh Joe, I don't know the coldest game that you've played in. But when the game comes like this, it's all mental. There is no physicality. You take the physicalness out of it. Now, how do I convince myself I'm not cold for the next two and a half hours?

Speaker 4

O Yoe?

Speaker 2

How do I turn my mind off and says, look, shut up?

Speaker 1

Yeah? How do I tell my mind that my body isn't cold? Because I know, oh Jo, they probably got thermometers all throughout it. You heard it through all all throughout the week when you practicing that sixty seventy degree whether in Miami, you heard how cold is gonna be Saturday night in Kansas City.

Speaker 2

You here it's gonna be four degrees.

Speaker 1

It's gonna feel like it's dis degree and that you know at night, Oh yo, what happened?

Speaker 2

The temperature drops? So you know if it starts at four degrees.

Speaker 1

You know it's not gonna end there because you're starting and ending two and a half three hours later.

Speaker 2

So you now you've heard that all week.

Speaker 1

It's just like when you tell yourself, I can do this, I can do this, I can do this. It's the same thing. It's gonna be cold. It's gonna be cold. It's gonna be cold. You've heard that over and over and over. So now how do I convince myself that I'm not cold? Still go out because they gotta stay fogused? O Joe, you know when you get cold like God dag because you run into the line, you got your hands in your in your warm hand warms. You gotta behind your back. You go to the side of Hey, man,

let me get that cold. Let me get that come cold, bro let me get that. Normally you just go to the side. Hey you back in, you run on the field. But I thought Kansas City because they're used to that. It's tough, o Jo. It's tough when you're a warm weather team and you go, how do you practice that?

Speaker 4

O yo?

Speaker 1

Tell me how you you how do you practice when you is eighty degrees and you make it and you make it twenty below zero?

Speaker 3

Well, listen, there's no way to replicate the weather. There's no way to replicate or duplicate Mother Nature. If it's gonna be cold, it's gonna be cold. But at the end of the day, the chiefs had to play in the same exact weather. Do the chiefs always see this kind of weather week in and week out. Obviously it's November and December. No, it's never this cold. It's never this cold. So both teams are really nobody's at an advantage.

Speaker 4

Advantage.

Speaker 3

Maybe the Chiefs a little bit because they're used to playing in the cold. But at the end of the day, we were a little shorty. We were shorty on growing up. We had no problem playing the rain, We had no problem playing.

Speaker 1

In the snow.

Speaker 3

All of a sudden, we get to the NFL, all of a sudden, we gonna allow the environment and the temperature to affect us. No, there's something that we need to do offensively and defensively.

Speaker 4

At the Dolphins, there's something that we need to do. There's there's a game.

Speaker 3

Plan that we need to execute, and what we can do is allow the conditions to affect the end goal and what we need to do to win the game, and we didn't do it.

Speaker 4

We need to win the game. And I'm not gonna well, I'm not saying you're using.

Speaker 1

Why Absolutely, you're absolutely right. Oh, both teams had to play in that weather. But you know, Kansas City had the advantage. They have six days, seven days to practice in that way, right, It's kind of it's kind of it's kind of like I remember, I remember when we had a bubble, h but Mike would never we I mean, I think I probably went in that bubble probably like three times in my entire career.

Speaker 2

When I was in Denver and I was like.

Speaker 1

Man, man, go back get us. Mike said, Hell, it might be cold Sunday, right, So you practicing, you practicing, and and and in sixty degree bubble and it's twinty and it's ten degrees on on Sunday.

Speaker 2

What have that done for you? So I get it, and you're you're right.

Speaker 1

But normally warm weather teams don't do well when they have I mean, there have been certain situations. I remember with Tampa uh went and went to the NFC Championship game, uh and beat and beat who is that Philly? They beat Philly cold in the cold weather. But normally that doesn't happen very often. But give I thought, I thought Kansas City did a very good job. And you know,

O Joe, we've been talking about this all year. Yeah, the Miami Dolphin to be one team that had a winning record, and what happens when you get to the playoffs. Whatever your weakness is, it becomes exacerbated because a team will exploit it. Yeah, and we see the time that they did a great job of pressure into it. Like you said, they couldn't get him out of that shell. You've got to be able to.

Speaker 2

Make a team.

Speaker 1

Look, you gotta make a team play on your terms. If you let a team play on their terms, you're not gonna beat them because this is where they're comfortable. So I'm trying to get you to fight. I'm trying to get you to fight on my field. I'm trying to get you to fight. Crocodile, he's trying to get you in the water. That's where he has.

Speaker 2

The advantage at right, right right, he gets your ass in the water, he gonna start flipping. He go do that death row.

Speaker 4

That's it, Yeah, that's it.

Speaker 2

If you know that, What do the animals try to do? Ojoe?

Speaker 1

They try to do everything they can to get the land. They tragic, they fighting, they clawed. If I can just make it the land, I have somewhat of a fighting chance. You got no chance in that water. He's trying to pull you to the deep.

Speaker 3

Is one thing is one thing noorady to be playing in the coal. It's one thing Noordy to be playing the cold. But if you're the Dolphins, you got to do You got to use your team or your player to their advantage. And understanding what the teefts are gonna do. Hell, goddamn Helen Keller could have saw what they were gonna do. You played them already. You understood what they did the last time you played them. They stankful the past. They's

thankful the run. So you already you already know if you can't get them boys out that two shell and they getting pressure with the front line already whatever happened to do anything exotic or anything extra, and they getting they're making too uncomfortable off just base, just your base pressures. You already know it's gonna be a long day. You're always gonna be a long day. Okay, boom, Okay, they're doing that. We can't give b two shell. What do

we need to do. We need to get creative. We need to creative, find ways to use Tyreek moving around, give them the ball. Tyreek wasn't able to do enough today five five for six TV. That's not gonna that's not gonna win the game. That's not gonna need a game.

Speaker 2

No, no, no, no no.

Speaker 4

Rashie Rice went crazy.

Speaker 3

He went eight for one thirty TD Travis Kelce despite the drops he had, he was seven for seventy one and check o twenty four for eighty nine. We we had no offensive production at all and relied on the defense too much.

Speaker 4

We had plenty of opportunities.

Speaker 2

The defense played well, O Jose. Games four that have been over at the half.

Speaker 4

Listen all them. Field goals we needed. We needed field goals. Get your beat, Get your beat.

Speaker 3

If the offense, if if the Dolphins offense that were used to seeing that we saw throughout the throughout the throughout the year in general, without the regular team had played just fifty gave us at least fifty percent of the offensive production we saw throughout the year.

Speaker 4

Tonight would have been a different ball game.

Speaker 2

But guess what, Ojo.

Speaker 1

We didn't see this offense against winning teams, so we should We got what we got all year against the winning team.

Speaker 2

We saw what the Dolphins did.

Speaker 1

They didn't We shouldn't be surprised by the outcome of this ball game, considering what we have seen from the Dolphins since the start of the season. When they play winning teams, they lose and they don't play particularly well on the road. So now you're playing the team if you're in a playoff, obviously you got a winning record, and you're on the road, they don't play particularly well and it's sub zero. So you got three things working

against the Dolphins. Right, And when you look at it, and Patrick Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes in his seventh year, he's the start of six years, right, he passes Aaron Rodgers, Troy Aigman Rogers stallback for his twelfth career playoff win.

Speaker 2

Let that think it.

Speaker 1

People don't unders see sometimes. I don't think people realize, oh this guy. You don't realize just how good this man is because we take it for granted. I'm talking about in seven years, yes, and I think only six years as a starter of my correct, only six years as a start, has twelve career playoff wins, with three Super Bowl appearances and two wins on his resume. Early already, already Aaron Rodgers has played what eighteen nineteen years. I

think Troy came in in eighty nine. Troy retired and we played Troy, and so Troy played twelve years Patrick Mahomes just started six years and has this and pass both of those guys. I think Roger Roger played. I think Roger played eleven years. Roger retired here because of concussion, but you know, he went to the military, so he lost out. I think he didn't get to the league until he was like twenty eight, twenty seven, twenty eight, so that cuts some years off of his career also,

but the concussions was rually chased. Rogers start back out of the league. But Patrick Mahons's twelve career playoff wins past Troy Aigman, Rogers start back, and Aaron Rodgers, so give him.

Speaker 3

I have a question before before you go, what do you think for the Dolphins. What is the answer to get over the hump? What is the answer for the Dolphins to be able to give over the hump? Obviously having a tremendous regular season, obviously we know not understanding they didn't really be anybody over five hundred. Yeah, I think besides one team. It might have been the Cowboys if I'm not mistaken. Okay, So what do they need to do over the hump so they can they can contend and get.

Speaker 4

Over the hump?

Speaker 3

Of the first round, the playoffs and actually being contention year in year out.

Speaker 1

They were without a lot of their guys. You remember Jalen Phillips is out, Xavier and Howard's out, Bradley Chubb is out.

Speaker 2

They probably had four or five starters out right.

Speaker 1

The question is to what he has great numbers, but are in big moments, in big games.

Speaker 2

Can he get it done right? That's the question that he's gonna have. Only he can answer that.

Speaker 1

Because in a game like this, you need somebody that can be able to drive the ball right, because that's what happens, O Joe. It's fine to play in and control. I mean, I mean normally you're gonna get pretty good weather in Miami. It might rain, now that's probably you're not gonna get likelihood you're getting snow. It's not very good, so you might get a day lose. But the thing is you go to Buffalo. What's the weather gonna be like in Buffalo. We know they had to postpone, they

had to postpone the game New England. You get them late in the season, you know what the weather's gonna be. You might get snow, you're gonna get winning. So New York.

Speaker 2

So you have to ask yourself.

Speaker 1

I just I mean, had his moments are really really good, but there's too much this. There's this, you get into

Can Tua get over the hump?

the camera, there is this is the ceiling and this is his floor. There is not enough in between. It's either here or it's here. It needs to be more in between. Because I think they got enough pieces offensive line. Maybe you can add a piece of to there. They can run the football. H had month most it is a Pro Bowler, eighteen rush touchdowns, they looking, they got Tyreek, they got Waddle, they got they got receivers, Coy Crab, they got Wilson Jr.

Speaker 2

They got guys that can make plays. So that's not the issue. The question is is he's the guy long term that could that can that can get you over that hunt? Right?

Speaker 3

So do you think defensively, if if some of those guys Phillips, Xavier Howard was in Bradley Chubb well Baby was healthy, do you think that the outcome would have been different?

Speaker 2

Because you talk, you talk about guys.

Speaker 1

I mean, those are guys that you paid big dollars to Ojo, those are guys that have been to Pro Bowl.

Speaker 2

I don't know if Phillips has been to the Pro Bowl.

Speaker 1

But Chubb and Xavier and Howard, Zamy and Howard and one of your Zavey and Howard have ten picks.

Speaker 4

Oh yeah, I think that might have been three years ago, three or two years ago one the other.

Speaker 1

And you see they were taking advantage of the middle of the field. They's working on that third corner. So you see Rice was eating, he was eating number four. He's like, Yeah, the Chrismy Kremes hot lights in the hot light on Ris. They just took they just took them off. They just took about they just took about degrees. And man, that's the question. Man, I think honestly, honestly, and people, if you're honest with yourself, you know I'm telling you the truth.

Speaker 2

Probably the weak link is the quarterback.

Speaker 4

Hmm.

Speaker 3

That's so that's so hard to say, especially with the numbers too Will put up put up this year. He put up some phenomenal numbers at one point where where he was the MVP candidate.

Speaker 4

That's how that's how well Tool was playing.

Speaker 3

And just I don't understand how do you get to a game of this magnitude and understanding what you have to do already having film on playing the Chiefs, you know previously early in this season, knowing what they're going to do, and then still coming out and laying the goddamn egg, knowing what you got to do to execute against them, to get them uncomfortable, as opposed to making us uncomfortable, which is why what they made to it,

they made too extremely uncomfortable and never allowed him, never allowed him to get in the rhythm.

Speaker 1

I tell you what, gip, what you think Miami would look like if too, if uh Mahons was the quarterback and he had Waddle, he had Tyreek, he had Wilson Junior con Craft in that running game.

Speaker 2

What do you think you would look like?

Speaker 3

That wouldn't be fair. That wouldn't be fair, That would be absolutely unfair. If anything, he might just ship the god Dan Lombardi down to Miami or ready.

Speaker 1

Well, we saw they were in the super Bowl every year when they Hey, what got when he had Tyree o LC Championship game when he had Tyreek and he was throwing.

Speaker 2

For damn near fight.

Speaker 1

He threw for five thousand yards his first year started with Tyreek, So we know what he can do with tyrink. Now, the thing was Tyreek didn't have the kind of numbers. He didn't have the seventeen eighteen hundred yards when he had seventeen ninety nine. I think he had seventeen oh seven last year, seventeen ninety nine this year because of Travis Kelce right, So that took some of those targets away.

But I just think that that's the question. I mean, when you look at what they got, how they can run the football with a chan and moster, and when you look at the wide receivers that they have. Yeah, yeah, offensive line maybe made an add a piece. I don't know who's gonna be available free agency, what they're gonna do in the draft. Maybe they can add a piece. But I need I needed my quarterback. Then I'm gonna

probably have to pay forty five fifty million. I'm gonna need him to give me better than twenty or thirty nine nine. I wouldn't need better than No, Joe.

Speaker 4

I need it, Yeah, I need it.

Speaker 1

That's what I need, Oh Joe, this is the look. I don't pay you forty five fifty million for the regular season. I pay you for moments like this, in games like this. Get anybody with this talent anybody should have been able to get them to the playoffs with the talent that the Miami Dolphins have.

Speaker 2

Now, what am I really paying you for? Moment like this.

Speaker 4

And that that that that that hurt, that hurt. I mean as a Dolphins fan. You know I'm from Miami, you know my allegiance.

Speaker 3

Yeah, the more, But I would I would love I would have loved to see them make a run. I would love to see them make a run in the AFC. And what bigger challenge than you already have filmed? You already have take You've already played them. You know what they're gonna do. You know what they do well, you know how to counter what they do well, and you know what you need to establish in order to be able to run your offense effectively.

Speaker 4

And we weren't able to do it.

Speaker 2

Oh Joe, that's your fault.

Speaker 1

Do it?

Speaker 2

Guess what what was Week eight? Team? Where was that game at between Buffalo and Miami.

Speaker 1

Tell the people that didn't know, that doesn't follow football like you and I that just jumped into the chat, tell them what that game was up there in Miami. Yeah, if you win that game, tell the people at home what happened if they win that game in Miami, gives Buffalo. Tell the people at home what happens we.

Speaker 3

At home, beautiful nice weather, Gota n nice weather. But again, we played Buffalo already early in the season. You know what you need to do again to win that game? And and you fold again, you fold again? How you fold back to back weeks?

Speaker 1

And Josh Allen gave it two interceptions, He turned the ball over twice.

Speaker 2

In the end zone.

Speaker 4

He took the sessions and a fumble and a fumble. That's three yeah. Yeah. So that's tough, man, that's tough.

Speaker 1

And then they got tonight, they got a couple of the unnecessary roughness on the guys. You can't go on the quarterback anymore. That's the Tom Brady rule. You can't hit the quarterback. You can't hit the quarterback below it's waist. They're gonna throw that flag every time, every time, every time, ever since Tom Brady got his knee blue out like that.

Speaker 2

Excuse me, I know you saying, oh that you that's not I understand.

Speaker 1

I was in the league where they let you hit the quarterback anywhere you wanted, to the top of his head or the bottom of his head. That's no longer the case, O joe. Yeah, so you can't say, man, that's just football. That's not football anymore. That used to be football, but they've changed that. First of all, they've changed that roof over a decade, O joe. So you should have adapted by now, because most of the guys that's coming in that's playing defense, they're the guy that

committed the file. You oh, you you wasn't in the rule. You wasn't in the league when you could do that anyway. So you've been in a different center.

Speaker 4

Rules, yeah, for a while. So you already a wow.

Speaker 1

And you know they're not gonna let you shove the quarterback down anymore, O joe. Once he throws that ball, you best to just fly by because if you shove him to the ground, they're gonna throw that flag. Christian Wilkins bro I don't know what you're saying. I mean, you know he liked to do a little poking and stuff, and he do too much of that funny stuff. I mean, I don't know what he did to Josh Shalla, but he need to cut that foolish this out right.

Speaker 4

I mean, here a ball player, now, yeah, I.

Speaker 1

Ain't got no problem with that ball player, But that stuff up under the pole, I ain't with that. I ain't with all that. Now, come on, now, that's a unnecessary stuff. Ojo right right, right, right right, go ahead, go ahead.

Speaker 4

Just antagonizing opponent, that's all, just antagonizing.

Speaker 1

I don't know the way the way Josh Allen jumped from there, he was doing more than antagonizing, that's all. Obviously, I don't know what he was doing. But that pile right right, I don't know what he was doing in that pile, But the way Josh Allen.

Speaker 2

Hopped up from there. Yeah, who question.

Speaker 1

For both is Miami in the same situation the Rams a couple of years ago, Jared Goff couldn't make couldn't make them plays seems.

Speaker 4

Like to us in the same ms.

Speaker 3

Listen, he just asked a question that I want you to answer because I don't have answers to it. But you would know better than me that they got all the goddamn pieces. Jered got all the pieces. The difference that Jerry Goff did get the RAM to the Super Bowl. Now he only scored three points once he got there, but he did get him there. But they felt I give.

Speaker 1

You prime example, there's a reason why Andy Reid moved up seventeen spots to take Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 2

Alex Smith had him in the playoffs every year.

Speaker 1

Andy Reid believed that he could go much farther with someone with a more with a more a stronger arm, and.

Speaker 2

Was willing to push the ball down the field.

Speaker 1

Yeah, right, that's the court and that's and you saw every year they were going to the Chiefs were in the playoffs. But this offense went to another level, and you could say, oh, it's no, it's not because Andy Reid had Donovan and this offense and it didn't look like what it looks like now. He had Alex Smith and it didn't look like what it looked like now.

Speaker 2

Yeah.

Speaker 1

So that's the question that the Miami Dolphins are gonna have to ask themselves, Right, what's the real ceiling for us?

Speaker 2

With tos our quarterback?

Speaker 4

M hm, Well, the ceiling looked greater all guy damn year.

Speaker 3

But like you said, you ain't paying nobody forty forty five million for the regular season paying.

Speaker 1

I ain't paying forty five million to be bad teams. That's gonna be one good team. I'd be the seventeen games. You only be one team with a winning record on shoe and you wf in the minion and then you give me some points. You gave me a seven piece.

Speaker 4

Mm hmm. That's tough, man, Yeah, that's tough.

Speaker 1

I like to him. Red Hood said, oh, Jo, please tell the Dolphins they need a new quarterback tour in the guy.

Speaker 2

He played him.

Speaker 1

He played himself today. He constantly tried to get him killed over the his overthrows. He's just not good. I hope they don't fire McDaniel for him. Nah, no, no, no, I don't think Mike McDaniel's going anywhere.

Speaker 2

I think he ain't. Yeah, he has a great mind, Like I said with the OO.

Speaker 1

But when I look at the Dolphins and you look at the pieces, now, they did have some guys that were out. I thought that the defense, considering played well because they kept him out of the end zone. Yeah, and gave their offense a chance. It's just their offense didn't do anything today, with the exception of that big throw huh two of the Tyreek that that was their entire offense mm hmmm. I mean most it had thirty three yards to had two twenty five yards. Had nine yards,

Wattle had nine. What am I supposed to do with that?

Speaker 4

Don't yoe, You're not gonna You're not gonna do much for that. You're not gonna do much with those.

Speaker 3

But that stat line playing Madden, if you're playing mad but that's that line you just named, you're gonna lose the game.

Speaker 1

Eleven seventeen they had eighteen. They had eighteen passes thirty nine passa chips.

Speaker 3

You had ample opportunity, you had plenty time you got the ball back to the defense. Like you said, did play well minus all the injuries that we did have. They played well enough.

Speaker 2

All yeah, they played absolute, they played I believe we gave you the ball back.

Speaker 4

It was thirteen seven.

Speaker 3

We gave the ball back I think maybe three times a phenomen mistakes before they were able to get an actual field goal.

Speaker 4

And then so what started to put the game out of goddamn reach.

Speaker 2

Yeah, yeah, man, I don't think I've ever seen that.

Speaker 1

Did you see when a Mahogs took off and he got hit and the piece of his helmet.

Speaker 4

Protis me yea, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I saw That's all. I thought the helm was supposed to be a lot more safer. Now, Well, I don't.

Speaker 1

I don't know they really expected it to be out there in twenty minus twenty three degrees though.

Speaker 4

Okay, you know what, that's right, that's right, that's right, that's right.

Speaker 1

But but you know what, they probably they probably factor stuff like that in. It just caught the right sit the right it was cold, got caught in the right spot.

Speaker 4

Very cold, and it snapped. Yeah, that was crazy. I've never seen that before either.

Speaker 1

Brandon Deepo said, unking on your first time commented, should the fans go all out for Justin Fields?

Speaker 2

Oh? Yr that you? That's your team? You like the Dolphins? Tell me what you would think they should do?

Speaker 4

Uh?

Speaker 2

I'm you riding with you? Are you running back with two a one more year?

Speaker 1

Yeah?

Speaker 4

I'm running back with two one more year? Okay, I'm running back with it. Matter of fact, is it time? Is it time?

Speaker 1

You know?

Speaker 3

I'm not sure contract wise? Is it time to pay him now? Or would you run with your burrow?

Speaker 1

So theoretically this would be his fifthier option if I'm not mistaken, coming up right, which I think they picked up they.

Speaker 3

Oh they picked it up already. Yes, yes, I would think they're running back. I would think they're running back because it's times like this. You know, you gave us what you gave us in the regular season, but we're not paying you for that. We're paying you for what you can do in the postseason and what you're going to be able to lead us in year years from now on.

Speaker 4

So I think that's what it comes into play. And justin Fields, I.

Speaker 1

Want to see.

Speaker 2

I want to see justin fields. I want the homie to go to Atlanta.

Speaker 4

Atlanta. Yeah he got he got some nice stuff to work with over there too, got some real nice stuff to work with.

Speaker 1

Brough Atlanta area.

Speaker 2

Brought the crib. He gonna be home.

Speaker 4

Yeah, oh yeah, he gonna be home. Man, my Dolphins, man.

Speaker 1

But Texas do a demolition job on the brown. C. J. Stroud dissected the number one passed offense. He finished with two hundred and seventy four yards. Three touchdowns or three touchdowns were before and behalf. Tied the NFL record for most touchdown passes in a playoff game by a rookie two seventy four, three touchdowns, zero turnovers. He had two hundred and thirty six of those yards in the first half. At the age of twenty two years, one hundred and

two days. He became the youngest quarterback in history to win a playoff game.

Speaker 3

So you saw what the Texans did today? Did you see what the Texan did offensive today? They threw the ball, they ran the ball.

Speaker 4

Yep, listen. I know they played at home. I know they played in the Dome. I know it was comfortable.

Speaker 3

I know the atmosphere of Mother Nature wasn't a factor in the game. But they did exactly what they did to do to be one of the best defensive in the league. That had some great corners in Newsom Safety, great corner and Denzel Ward.

Speaker 2

Yeah.

Speaker 3

Yeah, still we be able to get things done with their best weapon in Nico Collins. Same thing they should have. Same thing the Dolphins should have done with Tyreek they had in Jay Luato. Like, I don't understand, CJ. Shroud looks like a goddamned ten year vet.

Speaker 4

He does.

Speaker 3

Looks like a damn ten year vet. Nothing seemed to rattle them. Nothing seemed to rattle them, Nope at all. Then I'm c J. Shroud made a player on the

CJ Stroud leads Texans over Browns

screen pass and of course I tweeted out ladies and gentlemen.

Speaker 4

CJ.

Speaker 3

Shroud take a bow and everybody up up and arms. Oh man, it was this a screen pass? I mean, he didn't do it.

Speaker 4

He didn't do the work. All he did was just throw a screen Hello.

Speaker 3

Have you seen the body of working what Shroud has put together throughout the entirety of this season, throughout the entire season. I understand it was just a screen pass. He came back to very that drive. Did you see the touchball to the tight end or just see the touch or he dropped it in the bucket to the tight end?

Speaker 1

Ye?

Speaker 3

Then I had I had to treat back again, for all you hate is to have something to say. It was just a screen pass.

Speaker 2

But what was that? A handoff? What you know?

Speaker 1

You know what we say with the guy dropping in the bucket from thirty thards away, he walked back to it.

Speaker 2

That's a handoff. That's a deep hand off.

Speaker 4

Easily, young young, young brother.

Speaker 3

Man has changed to the chains the franchise around in a matter of months, in a matter of months, he's complete. He changed that franchise, franchise around and give him the fans in the city of Houston hope from now on for the next ten years.

Speaker 1

Man, he's a sensational. I mean those slam past the Nico Collins that touched down to Brevin Jordan, who turned on the Jets. He's like, oh, y'all can he Oh, y'all try to catch me a He turned on the Jets, hit them, hitting them, hitting them, balls on them.

Speaker 4

It was a rap.

Speaker 1

It pieced everybody out. It's unbelievable. The defense got O Joe. Remember I talked, I said, hey, O Joe, I like the Browns, I said, but you gotta be careful.

Speaker 2

I say, flat up, big numbers, I said, but he.

Speaker 1

Turned the ball over also, And I say, see what happening is people are just looking at the positive and don't see. Yeah, he threw up at three hundred and fifty yards two pigs. Yeah, I said, yeah, he threw for this miny. But I said, okay, he got ten touchdowns in this many games. Okay, well going to that call him over to the right a little further. How many I nts? I said, And come playoff time, you pay double for turnovers. Yeah, and if you have an issue,

it gets a exascerbated. So what was Flat Coast problem in the regular season? Turnover reception interceptions back to back games over. It's a.

Speaker 2

Game over.

Speaker 1

I mean they got up to a great start and then and then the offense balled down and you know, it was a It was a decent game right before the half, but I mean, what you call score that touchdown right before the half and then they got the ball, didn't do anything. That was Cleveland's opportunity to try to see that they have something going. And then Flaker throws that pick, they run that back, and then they go for it on fourth down. Great defensive Hey know the

balls got to come out quick. Yeah, he jumps it to the house. Ball games over. You ain't coming in the playoffs.

Speaker 2

It's over.

Speaker 4

It's a rap. It's a rap. From that, it's a rap from that point on. Listen.

Speaker 3

I like, I like what I saw from the Browns. Obviously, defensively, they played well all year long. In a situation like that with playoffs. Playoffs is you need better consistent play from your quarterback. You're not putting the ball, not putting the ball in harm's way. Obviously, the Browns didn't look like the same Browns they did when they played Houston early in the season, when I think was the case Keenum. But who was the backup quarterback for the Texans. Yeah,

with a different ballgame. I tweeted that out. Also before the game, I tweeted out, who do y'all think? Who y'all got today?

Speaker 1

Now?

Speaker 3

Mind you keep in mind now c Z Shroud and then played the first game. So this Texans team in the offense is going to look a lot different than it did. And when they played the Browns the first time. Correct, and look what happens. Long behold.

Speaker 1

C J.

Speaker 3

Shroud shows up like you've been in the league, I don't know how many years, and it's surgical, surgical from the spot.

Speaker 1

Yeah, they did a number. They did a great job of Miles Garrett and Darius Smith. You know, Cleveland had the number one pass defense and they didn't do any damage to CJ. You gotta get him off the spot. You gotta make him uncomfortable much as you can. I don't care who the quarterback is. You got to get him off his spot. If you let him do what

he normally does, most quarterbacks will pick your part. And that's not and that's from I don't care how great now, the great one really can find ways to win even if you get them off their mark. But you gotta make it difficult. I mean, you just let him sit back there and throw the ball. Oh, he gona, he's gonna drop it in there like Warren Moon. The ball goes up and down. I mean, he's unbelievable. I mean all, I mean a perfect tight spiral. I mean guys catching

it and stride. Ain't nobody having to like turn around and open the hims and catch the ball and like, damn, you gave me a better ball.

Speaker 2

I could have done something with that.

Speaker 4

He put it in the pocket.

Speaker 1

Yes, oh Joe, he put it in the pocket and giving guys opportunity to run after the catch. That's all your for a wide receiver, tight end, a guy that catches the ball, that's all I'm asking.

Speaker 2

Give me an opportunity to do something with it.

Speaker 4

But Nico, Nico Colins special man.

Speaker 2

Oh that dude. I don't know.

Speaker 3

If I don't know, if it's obviously it's his third years, it's the year of either you made it it, oh you didn't, your third years you're making a break year.

Speaker 2

Yeah for sure.

Speaker 3

If I'm not if I'm if I'm if I'm not mistaken, I think it's Nego calling third ye six.

Speaker 4

He had a tee today. He has arrived. He has arrived. No tang dell.

Speaker 3

Man, who who you think the text? Who the Technics gotta play? Play Now they're gonna play the winner. Would they would have they would have for seed. So they'll play. They'll be whoever.

Speaker 4

They'll play, not not the one out of the lower the lower seed.

Speaker 1

They would go Baltimore, Oh, ship out an less aless Pittsburgh. If Pittsburgh beats Buffalofalo, Pittsburgh goes to Baltimore and then Kens and uh uh uh yeah, Pittsburgh would go to Baltimore and then.

Speaker 4

Hold on, yeah, I'm not I'm not confused.

Speaker 1

We go to Baltimore because they're the seventh seed, and then Buffalo would get.

Speaker 2

No hold on Kiser.

Speaker 1

Yeah, the Bills win. If the Bills win, they play the Chiefs and then the Texans go to right, that's what happens. If Pittsburgh win, Pittsburgh goes to goes to Baltimore, and then the Texans goes to Kansas City. If Buffalo wins, the Texans go to Baltimore and Kansas City goes to Buffalo.

Speaker 5

That's what okay, okay, okay, okay, And the funny thing about it is with Shroud, I think if they have to face the Chiefs, what we expected or what we needed.

Speaker 3

I'm not saying expected, Well, obviously we expected as a Dolphin fan. What we wanted to to do is what I think CD Shroud will be able to do. Yeah, and use it, utilizing the weapons. Terry will be able to establish run. They will find ways to be creative, get put moving, nego callings around, and that'd be I think the Texans are a team that you don't want to play come playoff time.

Speaker 1

You know what, three three three points ain't fing to cut it? You know, Ojo, you know what what makes the text I'm scary. But they don't if and know they're not supposed to be here, that's the problem. Yeah, somebody, somebody forgot to tell them you got a rookie head coach and a rookie quarterback.

Speaker 2

You're not supposed to be good right.

Speaker 4

Now, right right now.

Speaker 1

You got a problem on your head because they know we belong right, they believe they belong belong right. Got a problem on your hands.

Speaker 2

Excuse me.

Speaker 1

And if they don't turn them all over, in which they don't, I mean C. J. Stroud doesn't turn them all over.

Speaker 4

He predicts, he protects the ball man.

Speaker 1

This is a team. This a team for the future. I don't know, I don't know where else look. I understand, uh Sepask had a grade year. Dan Campbell had a great year. There's a lot of worthy But if if Demico Rians is not unanimous coach of the year right with a rookie quarterback, if CJ's tried, I look like I said, Oh Joe, we talked about this. We understand. Pooka broke the records most catches by a rookie. He broke Jalens Ronald Jayden, Jalen's Waddles record, most receiving yards, Bill Gorman.

Speaker 2

But it's c J.

Speaker 4

C j's rookie of the year. Different, different, c j's rookie of the Year.

Speaker 1

Congratulations to the Texans forty five fourteen win over the Browns, proving that this was there.

Speaker 2

They're not a fluke. This is not an accident. It's not luck.

Speaker 1

They belong, they deserve. They earned the right to be in the playoffs, and they earned a victory. Ain't no deserve at this point in time. You earn it, you don't get it. Deserve deserve what you earned.

Speaker 2

What you get, right.

Speaker 1

They earned this opportunity and you see what they're capable of doing. This is unbelievable. Congratulations to the Houston Texas. You got a coach and you got a quarterback. Houston fans, y'all don't have a problem. Y'all, don't have a problem in the Houston. Jullion, Houston.

Speaker 2

You got a problem. You don't.

Speaker 4

Absolutely for the next decade. You got solutions for the next decade. No issues.

Speaker 1

The Patriots acted quickly hired Jared Mayo to replace Bill Belichick. Mayo, thirty seven years old, if the youngest coach in the NFL, taking over that title.

Speaker 2

From Shop McVay. Mayo is a month younger than McVeigh. Gerard.

Speaker 1

Mayo was a linebacker with the Patriots from two thousand and eight to twenty fifteen. After being selected in the first round, Mayo joined Belichick's staff coaching staff in twenty nineteen,

serving as the linebacker coach. The Patriots were able to forgo the standard hiring process and immediately high mail because it established a succession plan in the contract extension he signed last offseason, similar to what the Ravens did with their general manager position Eric DaCosta, who succeeded Ozzie Newsom. I know Eric.

Speaker 2

Ozzie as well. So let's talk about coach Belichick.

Speaker 1

Yeah, because I don't think we were on when the news broke that coach Belichick was stepping down, but we could. We kind of saw this, and I kind of felt that when they first started with a seth Rickashem broke the article about coach Belichick wanted to move and he wanted to sert Jimmy G and mister Kraft said, no, you will get rid of Jimmy G.

Speaker 2

And he basically gave him away.

Speaker 1

For a second round pick to Coyle share a hand because he thinks so much of Cow. I said, the next time, and this will come up again the next time. Coach Belichick's gonna win out. Yeah, he went out, and he probably would have got some grace had Tom Brady not winning that Super Bowl in Tampa. Yeah, because I believe that Coach Belichick told mister Kraft that Tom Brady was on his last legs.

Speaker 2

He probably told him.

Speaker 1

Bob, Robert whatever I think he called it, Robert, Tom doesn't have it anymore right.

Speaker 2

He said, Okay, Billy, I'm gonna trust you.

Speaker 1

You close to it, blah blah blah, and they moved on, and you moved on, and you didn't get no compensation, no compensation.

Speaker 3

Somebody pulled the trigger a little too fast. Somebody pulled the trigger, look too fast, listen. For one, they had

Belichick and Patriots break up

to get rid of Jimmy G. I love Tom, I love Tom, But one thing I think a quarterback of that magnitude doesn't want is somebody over your shoulder. Yeah, that they feel it's adequate to run the offense and take over. I think that's the reason. I'm not sure whose dealing it was or who made the decision to get rid of Jimmy G. But then it takes the pressure off of Tom as well, because I think Bill at some point would have wanted to have get rid

of get rid of Tom. Think he's wanted to think, thinking he's on his last leg, and allow that team to go forward and Jimmy D Jimmy G as a start in the quarterback of.

Speaker 1

Course, because here's the thing, oh Joe, at some point in time, if you're not careful when you got to it, you're successful. And it's a dual system, right, who go get the credit and I ain't talking about it. No, I don't want to hear nothing about no fifty to fifty. Well you said about old this marriage. If they ain't no matter fifty fifty, somebody can. Somebody gives a little bit more right than the other. Coach Belichick wanted to prove that he could win a championship without Tom Brady.

I'll go to my grade believing that. I don't believe Tom wanted to leave New England. I don't believe he wanted to leave New England. But he was tired of Coach Belichick. Coach Belichick and said things and made it. You know, when Tom had the gash in his hand and he said, well it wasn't open heart surgery. And Tom's like, bro, are you serious. I'm not saying I had a transplant, but don't minimize it. Don't make it

seem like it was nothing. Right. So, and when I think Tom was like that, what they did is last year there, they took money and they gave it to him like they made a salary like twenty three million, but they took all the years off and they couldn't franchise it.

Speaker 2

I said, you go home, Yeah, if you want, Tom Brady.

Speaker 1

You extended. It's as similars that if they want you to just go in, especially you are bat You've proven your work.

Speaker 2

You just extended.

Speaker 1

Why not just extending for another two years? Because because Belichick was ready to move on, Tom wasn't ready to move on. Tom moved on out of necessity. You're like, well, hell, you don't put me outside, I might as well leave now. I'm not finna stay on your porch, and I'm not gonna beg you to stay.

Speaker 4

Yeah, jump the gun. Jump the gun big time. And in order to have success, and we can see it.

Speaker 3

We look at the landscape of all the quarterbacks, all the teams that have had success, all the teams that are having success right now since Tom left New England. You got to have a quarterback and Belichick has not been able to answer that question. Belichick has not been able to fill that role and fill that of someone that is adequate enough to obviously run the offense. Because the defense is good. Yeah, the defense is good. I don't care what the New England record says. That defense

shows up to play week in and week out. But if you have a quarterback that can run the offense and at least compete week in and week out, then you would be Okay, Belichick would still be coaching the New England Patriots, and Gerard Mayo wouldn't have that job if he had a quarterback that was competent.

Speaker 1

All he had to do was just keep keep Brady for those three look here, and I get it sometimes and I go back and forth, because you know, when you play a player, you play.

Speaker 2

I mean, but it wasn't like was he the same?

Speaker 1

But he didn't have and and I think it was a blessing and a curse because he didn't have the talent that he got when he got the New when he got to Tampa. He didn't have a Mike Evans, he didn't have a Godwin, he didn't have a Grondkeet tight End in New England. If you'd have gave him that, I believe he could have won another Super Bowl in New End.

Speaker 4

Yeah, yeah, most definitely.

Speaker 3

And I think he but even not having those type of individuals and those type of players, he would have been able to overcome that because he's familiar with the system, he's me with the players that were there.

Speaker 1

Hold On Old Joe from a septh Workersham article yesterday, Bill had told me he couldn't play anymore, Craft said, privately, after watching Brady win a Super Bowl in Tampa and he check it out.

Speaker 2

Let me I get so excited. Seth Workersham article.

Speaker 1

Yesterday Bill had told me he couldn't play anymore, Kraft said, privately, after watching Brady win in Tampa and goes out and win a effing Super Bowl. Both men said Brady congratulatory texts, but they had lost control of the narrative of their own careers, and they both knew that the team celebrating a seventh title should have been their team.

Speaker 2

And it wound up, and the wound began to fester.

Speaker 1

M h.

Speaker 3

All, you got damn chickens before they had. You Never listen telling a man someone like Brady, knowing what he went through, seventh round, pick all the Super Bowls he's brought you, all the success he's brought you all of a sudden, telling them you know what, you ain't got it no more.

Speaker 4

The man wants you no more.

Speaker 1

O Joe, if you could say that he threw for four thousand yards, but let's just say for his last year in Newland was a down year. You mean to tell me one down year, that man, after all the good will that man had given you, he can't have one down year.

Speaker 2

Seriously, one down.

Speaker 1

So you mean to tell me, after everything that man had given you, right, that man can't have an offseason. If you said, whatever he threw for, I think he's still threw for four thousand yards.

Speaker 2

I think it's what he threw for his last year.

Speaker 1

Hold on, just a second, lady and gentlemen, what to Brady last year in New England, which was twenty nineteen. You mean to tell me, o, Joe Tom Brady, after everything that he's given you, he can't have one off season and you're ready to move on?

Speaker 4

Not the way Bill thinked.

Speaker 2

Bill was.

Speaker 3

Bill was the owner. Bill was the GM. Bill was the head coach. He made he made all the calls, he made all the shots, He did all his draft. Yeah, he did, he did everything. But I think what Bill failed to realize is no matter who you drafted, no matter who you bought, there, as long as the nucleus and centerpiece so that franchise was there, it was gonna always work. It was gonna always work, especially offensively. The pieces to the puzzle off on offense changed consistently year

in the out for almost damn near seventeen years. But as long as that number twelve piece was there, you always knew that that office was gonna be able to function and work. Just like an engine, no matter what pieces you put in there, it was gonna run. All you had to do was start the goddamn key and press the pedal. The car was gonna drive itself long as you had the same person behind the wheel.

Speaker 1

He threw for four thy fifty seven yards, twenty seven, twenty four touchdowns, eight picks on a twelve and four record. So let's just say for the sake of argument, and that's what you and I we debate. Sometimes we're not We're not having a conversational show. We're having a discussion.

Speaker 4

Mm hmm.

Speaker 1

Let's just say that's a down year for Tom Brady. You willing to move on from him with that?

Speaker 4

Mm hmm. What he was thinking? Maybe he was the reason on why they were he was successful.

Speaker 3

Look, that's the only thing I can think of, Phil, If you don't even have an answer for Tom and getting some you think you're getting someone out the draft putting them numbers like that.

Speaker 4

H You see what CJ. Shroud has done and thinking well maybe I can.

Speaker 2

I can never be high enough up to get a C. J.

Speaker 1

Stroud And even Tom Brady, tom Brady wasn't that his first year, even his first year starting, tom Brady wasn't bad. Hell if it if it was, if it was Coach Belichick, Drew Bledsoe would have done it. Remember so, if any court, if any quarterback and work in that system, Drew Bledsoe should have been able to do what Tom Brady did. Yeah, if any quarterback can do it, because Drew bletso was the high was the first quarterback to get a hundred million dollar.

Speaker 2

To the Super Bowl. So if it's the if it's the system, okay, why did.

Speaker 4

He do it?

Speaker 2

Yeah?

Speaker 1

Different man so And and look at the guy. Look at the receivers and the running back and the skill position players. Once they live leave New England, how they look Don Branch was Super Bowl MVP. How did he look at Seattle?

Speaker 2

That was that boy?

Speaker 1

And now how did he look at Seattle after winning the Super Bowl MVP?

Speaker 2

Tell the people at home seat, Oh Joe, they didn't know?

Speaker 4

How did he look different?

Speaker 3

There's different, there's different outside of that system and the way the way the way they're able to use you when they use you?

Speaker 4

Is this different different that offense was now?

Speaker 3

I think I mentioned it a few shows ago when I said it's one of the few offenses in the league where the office is run from the inside out.

Speaker 4

Now from the outside d.

Speaker 3

You know it's one of the few, one of the few, if not the only. Matter of fact that it's running like that. You know your your your first look is your slots, your one. You work from the inside.

Speaker 4

Out your slot. You're tied end.

Speaker 3

Hell, your third choice might be the running back. Sometimes your first choice might be the running back.

Speaker 4

Then you go to the outside ego Ego does it every time.

Speaker 1

But I think mister Craft and I know him and I talk to him when every time I see him, I give him a big old hug because he's always he's always been great to me. And the one thing he'll always tell me is say, you do your homework. You're very well prepared. Oh yeah, I think they're they're so opposite. Mister Crab and Coach Belichick each.

Speaker 4

Other complete opposite.

Speaker 1

But because you're winning, his stomached a lot of things that Coach Belichick was doing where Jerry Jones Ego was so big he couldn't do it anymore right, and it cost him. Mr Crawn says, I got as much as I could. I should have got seven. You cost me one. Bill, Jerry is doing everything he possibly can to get that one, to get another one.

Speaker 4

What happens, what happens? If?

Speaker 3

For whatever I mean, I would love the Cowboys to continue to make a long run into the playoffs. If they don't, what the chances of Jerry Jones and Bill Belichick working together?

Speaker 1

Never bro He got rid of Jimmy who find a back to back winning super Bowl coach?

Speaker 2

Ojo?

Speaker 1

Let that think it? You know how hard it is. You played all you played what twelve years in the league and number one one?

Speaker 2

Now you.

Speaker 4

I won one on Madden Mad Yeah, the coach.

Speaker 1

Went back to back super Bowls and your top three players, none of over the age of twenty eight.

Speaker 3

Can't get out your own way? So Belichick in Dallas not happening.

Speaker 2

That ain't happening. That's not happening.

Speaker 1

Since since par Sales, Jerry is the only hired guys that have the head coach title and name only.

Speaker 2

He's the head coach.

Speaker 1

Why do you think you'd be giving press conference why you think he's telling you who's gonna start and who's injured and how long they're gonna be out.

Speaker 3

Maybe they briefed Jerry first and then Jerry says, Jerry regurgitates it. We wion't allow the coaches to actually be the coach. And I said that, I hope he stays in the back in the background throughout the playoffs. I hope he stays in the background and just don't do it. Don't add no bullets to boe material, don't add no added pressure to the team. Allowed them boys, allowed to them. Just go out there and play.

Speaker 4

But you know, I like I like the girad mao higher I do.

Speaker 1

But with he familiar with the system, he's familiar with how the organization works works.

Speaker 2

Yeah, I was there. I was.

Speaker 4

I was there with him one year. Very very very very very brilliant.

Speaker 3

Brilliant mind, brilliant defensive mind, and really knows and understands the game to the point where obviously it was it was a no brainer as far as him being the success of the Bill Belichick. But for for his sake and what he still needs to do, they still need a quarterback. Yeah, they still need a quarterback. Or we just we're gonna be back in the same situation three years from now. Yep, he needs a quarterback. They got

to get him a quarterback. I'm not sure who who they're going to get, if it's going to be through free agency, whether it's going to be through the draft, but they got to get a quarterback so they can build from there.

Speaker 4

That's for starters. That's for starters. Getting getting getting the head coach job is one thing.

Speaker 3

Once figured that quarterback situation, that's a that's a burden off your shoulders and you can go from there.

Speaker 2

Yeah.

Speaker 1

I agree.

Speaker 2

Three players make First team All Pro.

Speaker 1

That but did not make the Pro Bowl, Antoine Winfield, Junior Quit armand Ross Saint Brown, and Quincy Williams.

Speaker 2

Oh y'all.

Speaker 1

I don't know if people know this that the All Pro Team is over the entire NFL. When you make a Pro bow is, then AFC is the NFC. Right, The All Pro Team is a higher honor than the Pro Bow. Both are honors, but the All Pro Teams that means I'm one of the two best receivers in the entire league league, not one of the four best receivers in my conference conference.

Speaker 2

So go ahead, what do you like?

Speaker 1

I thought, I thought Antoine Winfield Junior should have made the Pro Bo over Bo bab.

Speaker 3

Easily statistically statistically speaking, if you look at the stats, it's a no brainer, almost none. So as some point, they used to say this, even during my time when I was playing at the Pro Bowl. Some sometimes the players weren't deserving, but because they had done great things in the past, it became some of the popularity contests, and because their name is there, they were they were making Pro Bowls based on their name alone, not the

stats that they put up throughout the season. True, I think this was Budda Baker obviously great player, great great player.

Speaker 4

I love Buddha.

Speaker 3

I love what he's done, one of one of my favorite safeties to watch. It remind me of Bob Sanders, the way he just plays a game and has no regard for his body or anybody else's.

Speaker 4

But uh, this year it should have been Antoine to earn.

Speaker 1

A Pro Bowl slot. This year, I ain't gonna stay deserved. He didn't earn it this year. Antoine Winfield Jr. Earned that spot.

Speaker 3

Yeah he did, he did, and I mean it's unfortunately, it's unfortunate. Hey, Amona, Saint Brown should have been in the Pro Bowl.

Speaker 2

Okay, if you if you put him in, who you're taking out?

Speaker 4

Though?

Speaker 2

Don't you remember not when you put somebody in, you gotta take somebody.

Speaker 4

To take somebody else. Listen, you're taking CD out. You can't take CD. Come on a Brown out A D. Brown had a phenomena.

Speaker 1

You taking, you're taking your boy.

Speaker 4

You can't not with what he's done as a rookie. See that's tough, man.

Speaker 1

Now that you just said he blow, you got to take somebody out.

Speaker 4

Yes, you can't. You can't.

Speaker 3

So it's unfair. It's it's damned there unfair. But he deserves to be there. But making all pro be making it all pro for him, and it's thirty. This is this is Saint Brown's thirty among ain't it?

Speaker 2

Yeah?

Speaker 3

It's the perfect it's the perfect. Yay to make it it's specially be all pro. You don't make the Pro Bowl. Having that that all pro on your resume speaks volumes, it speaks, especially when it's time, when it's time for that brink truck. Oh yeah, it's sure for sure, pro pro bo yo, all bro. I take I take the all Pro much I take all. Yeah, that's that's leverage right there.

Speaker 1

Now. I mean it's nice to think that. Okay, to have a season, you know, I was, you know, I've been very fortunate to make. I was an All Pro in all you know, for my eight Pro bo and my Pro bowls. For my eight I was first team All Pro, second team in another one.

Speaker 4

So I get it.

Speaker 1

But the big the first one was the most important to me because my brother was an All Pro. To have two brothers same year first team All Pro, I thought that was a big yea. Yeah, so once I thought that was a poxist.

Speaker 2

But I got to get this thing. I tried to get it. Man.

Speaker 1

I tried to get a thousand yard that season, but I failed five yards short. That's not the hear nor there. But you're right, oh, Joe, to be an All Pro. And like I said, I don't want people to think that the Pro Bowl is not an honor. It yeah, but All Pro is a higher honor because it encompasses the entire league, not just a conference. It's not just NFC and AFC. Because if you notice, like the AFC and the quarterbacks, you take three quarterbacks, there are six

quarterbacks going to the Pro Bowl. Yeah, there's only one started quarterback for the All Pro Team first team.

Speaker 2

That's Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 1

And then the backup I think was Dak Who's the second team All quarterback? Dak Prescotta brock party because I think both of those guys two votes. They got two votes, and I think what you call him got one vote vote Josh Allen that was the second team.

Speaker 2

Okay. That was the second team quarterback for the All Pro team.

Speaker 4

Okay, and that's live all how many? How many All pros do you think?

Speaker 1

I went to mm hmm oyo with the two? Oh you a two time first team All Pro?

Speaker 4

That's it?

Speaker 1

Two two and a six time Pro Bowler.

Speaker 4

Oh they cheated me, man, they cheated me.

Speaker 2

They got you.

Speaker 4

Yeah, they cheated me. Bro. I should have been I should have been All for at least four five times.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

Speaker 4

Yeah, damn. I can still play now. I could lay some up, but they can use a services next year.

Speaker 1

Most of the time, I don't even lay my shoes. I can't layer up nothing day tell nobody. I can't even tell nobody, no loud Joe. Sometimes my shoot, I just be walking around lasers at times, stepping over I ain't lacing up nothing nothing dope.

Speaker 2

Uh And Quincy Williams made it as an all pro.

Speaker 4

Oh yeah, hey he nice?

Speaker 2

Yeah, oh yeah, he'll thumper.

Speaker 1

Nice.

Speaker 2

He definitely a thumper. He coming down here with bad intentions.

Speaker 4

He nice.

Speaker 2

Yeah.

Speaker 1

I like him.

Speaker 2

I like him a lot. I like the fact there is that he like. Yeah.

Speaker 1

I know my brother Quinny, but hey, I'm making a name for my damn self. He ain't making no tackles for me. You know what I'm saying because a lot of times, you know, people think you know, for the longest time, won't Joe? What I had to overcome people talking about, Oh man, you got to the NFL. Cous your brother huh? You never make it off a name? Now, that ain't work. That might work, that might work in college. Yeah, Sterling Sharp couldn't help the Broncos. What good is sterlish?

Speaker 4

Oh man?

Speaker 2

Please? I had to get out there and make them plays.

Speaker 3

You've got to have some type of you got to be able to play the game. You have to bring some type of value and be able to help. Yes, you got to be able to help.

Speaker 1

Ain't ain't no charity in the NFL at all. So three players, three players make first team All Pro, but then not to make the Pro Bowl. Antoine Winfield, Junior Amar Ross, Saint Brown, and Quincy William Congratulations, you guys, uh deserved to make the Pro deserved. Excuse me, you earned first team All Pro. Congratulations. So hopefully that lessens the sting of not making the Pro Bowl.

Speaker 2

He should. DJ Moore says he doesn't work out in the season.

Speaker 1

Instead, he stays at Disney World Drake's mount Dew and smokes cigars, take off, take off, yo.

Speaker 4

Oh Joe versus science.

Speaker 2

So you didn't work out either.

Speaker 3

I worked down, you know I'm talking about. I like Cigar Park. I like the cigar. I like the cigar part in the Mountain Dew.

Speaker 4

I like that part.

Speaker 2

O Jo, yes, sir, Why do you feel what?

Speaker 4

So you feel? You?

Speaker 1

So?

Speaker 2

How did that make you feel? You feel like you said something?

Speaker 4

Huh not not really? I mean listen.

Speaker 3

DJ Moore does what works for DJ Moore. Chad Johnson did what works for Chad Johnson. O Cho Sinko did what works for o Cho Senko. My my regime or routine was a little different. Everybodying one thing you do, one thing you do know about me? If you do know even if you don't, Well, I work like a mad man.

Speaker 4

Huh. I worked like a mad man. I worked like a.

Speaker 3

Crazy dog in the off season. During season when I ain't supposed to be working, I'm still working. I ain't play the game in almost a decade. I'm still training right now like I'm playing, and I'm gonna get an opportunity. I'm gonna get a phone call. I don't act just me. I just like to be doing something. I like to be doing something active and just but listen, DJ Moore,

I think maybe he exaggerated a little bit. I think maybe it's just probably being taken out of context, because I'm sure he does do something active.

Speaker 1

Wise, I'll tell you what he hadn't done, made a

DJ Moore loves cigars and Disney World

Pro Bowl and all protein. He hadn't done that, well, DJ Moore first round pick.

Speaker 2

But let me guess. Okay, we is in Carolina, we sold we throwing that up? Okay, he was it? So what so that explains it?

Speaker 4

Hey? DJ More nice, Now don't do that, DJ More night. Did you see did you see DJ Moore in CJ and CD and Justin Fields go to work this year? Hold on? What was so?

Speaker 2

If he's so nice?

Speaker 4

Is he a top ten receiver, top ten, top ten? He could be.

Speaker 2

No, I ain't talking about I could be right down.

Speaker 4

I don't I don't have I don't have everybody's name.

Speaker 1

Okay, you taking them over, Tyreek, you taking them over CD, you taking him.

Speaker 4

Up with all this? Get to ten?

Speaker 1

Oh your damn.

Speaker 4

Okay, get to ten then keep going.

Speaker 1

Okay, so Tyreek, CD, AJ Brown Hookah, who you got a book? Give me, give me the give me the receivers that made the Pro Bowl and you're gonna put that. Give me the receivers that made the Pro Bowl. Mike Evans, Mike Evins, Okay, I my race, Saint Brown. Okay, that's sick, justin Jefferson, Jamal chh No, no, no, oh no, don't do all that.

Speaker 2

Don't do all that.

Speaker 4

Come on, give me give me two more.

Speaker 2

You taking Za Flowers over him? Oh, let me let how it go.

Speaker 1

Hey, Davonte Adams, You taking Davonte over here?

Speaker 4

Hey?

Speaker 3

You know what, maybe maybe he's not in the top ten. Maybe he's not in the top ten, right, stay with me now.

Speaker 1

Don't know no, no, no, no, we can't do Maybe that is what we do here though, Joe, is he a top tier receiver. It's a simple yes or a simple note.

Speaker 4

Okay, he tier two, Tier two, tier two? You know you know how? You know how you say they're there, They're here's the receivers.

Speaker 2

He's a.

Speaker 4

He's a he's a great Tier two with the ability to be Tier one.

Speaker 1

Can I I'm taking Pittman over him. I'm taking Nico Collins over him. I'm taking Pittman from an indie over him. I'm taking Nico Collins or the Houston Texas over him. You are too, I'm taking a Mari Cooper over him.

Speaker 4

You are too.

Speaker 1

Hey, what about your dog? I thought you loved George Pickett, Now you don't like.

Speaker 4

That's my dog? What about DK Metcal Oh that's that boy too?

Speaker 1

Oh?

Speaker 2

What about Debo?

Speaker 4

DNC Brandon?

Speaker 2

Now you know now now I'm in eighteen.

Speaker 3

I just gave you eighteen, guys, But listen, you understand how well DJ Moore played this season? Do you understand what Dj Moore?

Speaker 1

He's still he about to get out of the top twenty. You keep on talking. I'm a name from O, Guys.

Speaker 4

I don't like where you're going with this. You may listen, you're making me uncomfortable.

Speaker 3

You keep on talking, guy, I won't start. Ain't Brandon there yet? Yeah, I called his name already, I did.

Speaker 4

I said that you.

Speaker 3

I said that you when when you said depot, I said, I said brand now you. I think I think this is being blown out of proportion. I think out of out of context. I think he might have said this jokingly. I didn't see the interview. I didn't see where it was said. But I garantee you he didn't.

Speaker 4

Really mean it like that. He didn't mean it like that, I trust me.

Speaker 3

You know, all receivers, they all work out in all season, they all get together, they all do something. I think obviously the Disney World thing is it might have been a joke. You know, I think he probably does smoke cigars. I bet he probably does.

Speaker 2

I ain't even put d Hop in there.

Speaker 4

Oh that's that. Hey, boy missed the consistency probably the best hands of all time. That's a good one. That's a good one. But you know, you don't name some dogs.

Speaker 1

And the guy.

Speaker 2

Like we don't forgot about him? My cup running forward, Cooper Cup.

Speaker 4

Oh yeah, mister triple crown. Yes, hey, you know what this the league right now?

Speaker 2

That receiver.

Speaker 4

The receiver. The receivers are deep.

Speaker 2

You make the Pro Bowl or you make an All Pro team, you should be honored. Yeah you that boy?

Speaker 1

You that boy.

Speaker 3

You should be based based off everything. Everybody's name, you just name. It's some but you know what a crowd. That's a tough crowd.

Speaker 1

It used to be like that because think about it, in the mid eighties until like the men nineties, it was one spot available for first team Off Pro.

Speaker 2

You know, Jerry's gonna get one.

Speaker 1

So now you got you got my brother, you got Chris Carter, you got Herman Moore, you got Andre Rising, you got Andre Reid, you got Tim Brown, you got all those guys by it.

Speaker 2

For one spot.

Speaker 1

Yeah cause ja gonna get the other one. You know, Jay gonna get one hundred and fifty targets. What you want, right, Isaac Bruce, all those guys you're talking about, It was available.

Speaker 4

Jimmy Smith. Yes, damn. Hey. You know what's funny. There have been some great receivers that aren't aren't spoken on.

Speaker 3

Enough, and that is that you're jogging my memory of the eighties, of the nineties, the early Boucans, and even today's game.

Speaker 4

The receivers have always been plenty, plentiful.

Speaker 2

Always always, It's always been loaded always.

Speaker 4

Oh that's crazy when you think about it like that.

Speaker 2

Always.

Speaker 3

But DJ DJ Moore is good, DJE dj is Moore is good.

Speaker 4

I really don't think. I don't think he really meant what he was saying here though.

Speaker 1

Sometimes what guys try to do, Oh man, I'm doing all this and I don't really work out. But you I mean, come on, bro that I mean, nobody looking at it, you like, Oh man, you're the NFL. So what you got your NFL and you didn't work out it all?

Speaker 2

So you just got here. You're the only player they.

Speaker 1

Ever got your in the NFL, so you be the only of you be the first, the only player that doesn't work out in the NFL.

Speaker 4

Stop you work out. He work out.

Speaker 3

I know we do, because you wouldn't be able to have the season you had this year and not work out. You wouldn't have been able to do some of the things you did in the past, you with the Panthers without working out. He put that work in, He put that work in.

Speaker 2

It should But see I named twenty receivers.

Speaker 4

I don't like I don't like that. I don't like that.

Speaker 1

Well, you you the one that saying let me think about maybe, let me think about it. So I named you and you said no, I named.

Speaker 4

You more that that's you. You put me in an uncomfortable spot of fellas man.

Speaker 2

Check us out.

Speaker 1

Bulls fan boo widow of Jared Krows doing the bulls ring of honor ceremony.

Speaker 2

Oh Joe's embarrassing.

Speaker 4

I got you know what, Wait a minute, stay with me.

Speaker 3

You understand people, You understand how people are very fickle, People have a memory, people have understanding. The way he was depicted in the last dance gave me a better understanding of why they might have booed people. I think should be forgiven, forgiving for the fact that the way he would depict it.

Speaker 2

But that's not dance. That's his wife. That's his wife, Oh Joe.

Speaker 3

But the people don't know what we talked. What you you you look up for graciouness from society, but you know they don't play that.

Speaker 2

I look at it.

Speaker 4

I don't agree with the booing.

Speaker 3

I'm just trying to get people to understand that, Okay, you're connected to someone that had something to do with back in the days. Things didn't sit well. From my understanding, he didn't treat people as as well as he should have, and this was the result.

Speaker 2

And we forgot stuff on Diggs too.

Speaker 4

Oh, come on.

Speaker 1

To Gary Wilson, Crystal Lovey, Drake London. I'm done, I've done, I've done with it.

Speaker 2

John, we passed that.

Speaker 3

Yeah, you and you would have a better understanding and and and the questions the work sense of Jerry Cross and would have I had to do my homework though, and understanding why they booed?

Speaker 2

Can I ask your question, yes, sir, did Michael Jordan treat everybody great? Did he? I'm asking you.

Speaker 1

You saw the last dance? You told me you started last dance, so when the last dance was it picked it? Did he treat everybody great?

Speaker 2

Yes?

Speaker 4

No, No, I think that was part of what made him great.

Speaker 1

Oh so, but it didn't make Jay Cross great. Oh so treating people bad only makes one person great, not the other. Oh okay, I'm just checking.

Speaker 3

No, no, listen, listen, Michael Jordan was Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan was a different individual. Michael Jordan moved and acted a certain way, and that way is what made him who he is today.

Speaker 4

Is why he's the greatest of all time.

Speaker 1

Even no matter what you think about Michael Jordan, without Jared Krouse, there are no titles. Jerry Krause put this together. You know how we know because when Michael Jordan had an opportunity to put a team together in Washington, and he had fifteen years to put the bobcast together, how many titles did they win?

Speaker 4

But that's the timing.

Speaker 3

The timing, the timing and players available at that time to be able to put a team together is very important.

Speaker 1

He traded Gary, he traded Charles Oakley and got Bill Carr. Right, he moved up and got Scottie Pippen, he got hard As Grant, he got he got Tony Kok coach. We got to give this man credit. If you want to give Michael Jordan credit for winning, give the guy that built it credit for doing that.

Speaker 2

I don't know what listen, and I get it the way he was depicted.

Speaker 1

Yeah, but I don't want to give him no credit that make it seem like Michael Jordan. Okay, Michael Jordan's I want Scotty Pippen, I want whole grand As. As a matter of fact, won't you trade he didn't like none of the moves. M he didn't like when it got rid of Dub Collins, his guy.

Speaker 3

Yeah, listen, you know more about basketball, you know more about the history of basketball. I had to look up when I saw about the booing. I had to look up and see why are they doing so? And so why does the widow have to then?

Speaker 4

So as I am not.

Speaker 3

Really knowledgeable on what Jerry Cross did back in that day, I did see the Last Dance. I understood the issues that Mike might might might have had with Jerry, but it's it's unfortunate. But asking for grace from people in this era and society in general. Boy, you know people they ain't forgiven. They ain't forgetting nothing either.

Speaker 1

Jerry Croft was the one that brought in texts Winner and Phil Jackson implement the Trigle offense what we see a lot of teams run.

Speaker 2

The Lakers won five championship without offense six.

Speaker 1

Steve Kerr was also there, which he ended up taking that to the Golden State Warriors drafted hard as Grad traded Olden Polities for a guy named Scottie Pippen, Flip Charles Oakley for Bill cott Wright, the starting center on ninety one ninety two championship team. Scott had selected Tony Kuk coach in the ninety draft that would become a park and then he.

Speaker 2

Picked up Dad. He picked up Ron Harper in ninety four, traded Will Purdue for.

Speaker 4

The word Huh, you don't mean to tell me he did all that? And you boo the man that did that. Yeah, you know it. You know it would be dope. It would be dope.

Speaker 3

Well, obviously we don't have the opportunity, but it would be dope to hear people that are from Chicago during that era, or maybe people that are just fans of the game in general.

Speaker 4

Maybe that's it. Even in the chat watching why how do you feel about that?

Speaker 3

Why would you? Why did they boom? They get it better understanding on why? Because it has to be deeper than what were talking about. It has to be because of the way.

Speaker 1

Let me, I tell you it would be the equivalent when New England go and they put Bill Belichick in the ring and they blew it because he traded Tom Brady.

Speaker 3

Nah, that ain't enough, that, that ain't enough. Why No, it's been it's been what seven years? For how many years? Since since since mister, mister, mister cross passed away with seven years ago. If I'm not mistaken, right, maybe maybe I think so. I think so, But something that long ago, I don't think the people of New England. The people of New England aren't boring because they traded Tom Brady.

Speaker 1

I'm just saying if they did. I'm just saying, if they booed coach Belichick.

Speaker 3

Or using that as an example, yes, doing Okay, okay, I see you're going with it.

Speaker 4

It has to be more than that. It got people keeps up.

Speaker 1

Oh, he alienated who because Michael was trying to trade Michael like North Carolina players.

Speaker 2

Air Crafts knew that those North Carolina players. Yeah, you tell me I.

Speaker 1

Can get James Worthy, I'll take it. If you tell me I can get Fam Perkins. Yes, but yeah, all those other guys that couldn't play. Mmm, he don't know, I know to be able to look Michael Jordan, who was the face of the league and says, no, I'm not trained for those guys. I don't want those guys in his team. And those guys can't help us win, right, look at the guys what he did? He did that?

Speaker 2

Yeah, and y'all the booth for what, I bet you.

Speaker 1

I bet you fifty percent of the people wasn't even around, wasn't even there during that Jami Proston was running the bulls.

Speaker 4

I have a question. Let's say, with all the.

Speaker 3

All the changes and the people that Jerry Cross brought in, you take Michael Jordan out the equation, do they still win those six championships?

Speaker 1

I tell you, I don't believe you take if you take Jery Cross out of that, I don't believe you win the six championships. I believe he go hand in hand. He put that team together. So how many championship he won before crowds took over? Was Mike bare Yes, he was there in eighty four. He got there in eighty four. He's the third pick in the draft. That's Hobby's rookie.

Speaker 4

Oh rookie. Yeah yeah, I mean you know he ain't how many rookies have taken.

Speaker 1

Okay, eighty five, Okay, eighty five, eighty six, eighty seven, eighty eight, eighty nine.

Speaker 4

I mean with them, he didn't where he didn't win to year six? Huh Jordan?

Speaker 2

He won in ninety one.

Speaker 4

Okay, yeah, you you might. You might be right, you might be on the something Belichick.

Speaker 1

All I'm saying is the equivalent coach Belichick put the patrios together.

Speaker 2

He deserves some credit, no matter what.

Speaker 1

If you even if you don't want if you want to say Jordan deserved Jordan and Phil, we want to give the guy to actually compete.

Speaker 2

The lionst year of the credit. I got no problem with that. I really don't o Joe.

Speaker 1

But just still to say that this man had no or minimal bearing, right and the success of the Bulls is just not true, right, It's just not true because it was that easy. Why isn't everybody winning championships if just anybody can just willing, Nelly, Arvin, Trelly just put a team together, Why isn't it work like that?

Speaker 3

Nah? Shit, mean listen, timing and the right people coming along, putting the puzzle together. Those are the right pieces to the puzzle, which is why we're able to do it. Yeah, I mean, shit, even I understand it. You know, I'm not big on basketball. You know that I'm not big on basketball. I had had a time where I was able to watch Jordan. You know, as I was growing up, my grandfather watching Jordan. So I was forced to be forced to have to watch during that time then know

what the hell was going on. Yes, got to understanding on how great Jordan is as I continue to grow and get older and understanding he was a standard.

Speaker 4

He was standing on what greatness is. So I kind of I somewhat understood. I already know.

Speaker 3

Listen, ain't the way in hell y'all should be boring with Jerry Kross did for that organization during that time. But then I also understand society and that they are not They are not forgiven at all. Whatever it may be. There's a bad taste that was left in their mouth. I'm not sure what that taste is that in that didn't.

Speaker 1

But Jordan, when he retired for a year and a half.

Speaker 4

We talked about Joe. We talked about that boy.

Speaker 1

When you need to make up your mind, you say society is not forgiven? Are they forgiven or are they not?

Speaker 4

So?

Speaker 3

The only thing Jordan never got booed. You saw what they did Lebron when Lebron left Cleveland. You see them burning jerseys.

Speaker 1

I'm saying, I'm saying Jordan's you said society is unforgiven.

Speaker 2

They welcome here with open arms.

Speaker 1

I get let's just say, for the sake of argument, people are upset because the way it was portrayed in the last dance is that.

Speaker 2

He broke up the championship team. Did he not put it together?

Speaker 4

So he is the reason it broke up.

Speaker 2

That's what it was portrayed as.

Speaker 4

I don't know, what do you think?

Speaker 2

What do you think? In general?

Speaker 1

Jerry Ryan's dorfelt, Look they were Look, Scotty Pipple was on his letter.

Speaker 2

You remember Scotty Pippen.

Speaker 1

That back had gone out, is Robin had started to guy, they had started to age. I look, I would have loved to see them come back at least one more year and to see maybe he broke it up a year early.

Speaker 2

He says, I'd rather break it up a year earlier as opposed to a year late. It's the same thing.

Speaker 1

Are the New England Patriots fans gonna say, Bill, you broke us up, broke up our championship up, because we could have got another championship with Tom.

Speaker 4

Brady had seven Yeah, that's all.

Speaker 2

That's all I'm saying.

Speaker 1

Coach Belichick picked all the players, he made all the trades. Yes, Tom was the guy that's making all those comebacks. Yes, But if we're gonna give coach Belichick for putting it together, because it seems like to me, mister Croft says, yeah, okay, you had three years to put something else together and it's not. Hey, okay, Hey, things happen, People be together. People have been mad for twenty five years, and all

of a sudden they grow apart. Yeah, but all I'm saying is I just look and I get it, but I just don't. I'll never understand why. It's kind of like Commission Goodell. Every time he goes somewhere, they bulled it. What y'all bulleting for? Because y'all saw somebody else, Boot, and y'all saw this fan base Boot and that fan base Boat, and y'all keep that bullet job going. It's dumb actually for me. So I'm just trying to figure out, what are you pulling for? Tell me what are you doing for?

Speaker 4

Every draft, same thing?

Speaker 1

Y'all still watch it. The ratings go up every single year, the attendance go up every single year. But every time he come back for the draft, y'all, Boot, I'm just I just want to know why you're booing right, Well, it just seemed like they started it once upon a time, Well he's suspended my favorite player, or he did this, and so let's just keep it going.

Speaker 4

Yeah, there's always a reason behind it.

Speaker 3

And if you ask a hundred people, what's the reason for boring, and you get a hundred different answers. If you ask a hundred different people that are from Chicago or basketball fans of that time, during that tenure, during that era, why y'all boring?

Speaker 4

Mister Kraus, He's not even here, his wife is here. Is disrespectful? You get a hundred different answers on why.

Speaker 1

I've got to figure out somebody tweeting you about fuck you a company of a five percent company? Man? How I've been called I've been actually, O you. I've been calling a lot of things in my life. That's one thing I've never been called. Or what a company guy?

Speaker 4

What that means?

Speaker 1

I guess I am a company but guy, cause this is my damn show you exactly right, I'm a company guy.

Speaker 2

This is my ish.

Speaker 1

So y'all to keep tweeting, Oh you comany this you coming to that? You're absolutely right not cap if my creation. This is me and O Joe, So we get to say what the if we won't. You're right, I am a company now? Did I think about it?

Speaker 2

Yo, I'm the damn company shall Oh.

Speaker 4

You got me lost?

Speaker 3

Now you got to give me a better understanding of when somebody calls you a company guy, because.

Speaker 1

When when you don't say when you don't agree with what they agree with, they say you're a company person. So like when I was on FIS one, people like, oh, you're company. How you remember when Colin Kaepernick came out. I was the only one on television that took the stands that I took. They didn't even they didn't even put it on the YouTube channel. I took that hit when everybody was saying, man, hen what it is? What

it is? It was fun WHI last year if they say Shanna take your block home, I still had two and a half year level on my contract.

Speaker 2

I'd have went home.

Speaker 1

I say what I want, right, I do my homework. Y'all can't get mad. I'm not listening. I understand. I don't want everybody to agree with everything that I say. I don't think people should every disagree. I'm but I'm speaking. This is me talking, It is me. I got this. This is what you see right there there? You go right there, right there, that's it. Boot there, it is Joe, that's it. So don't get mad. I think it was distasteful for them to do that man's widow. Yeah, I

go to my grave believe in that. Yeah, that man, that man did not harp.

Speaker 2

You see.

Speaker 1

You see how fans get so invested into a a to a team. That man ain't harmed, none of them personally, that man. They do nothing to their family, nothing, and they booted. Why well, he broke our championship team up. Well, it been so easy to put one together. Why the hell you hadn't put one together? Damn near twenty five years.

Speaker 4

Yeah, that's that's different. That's very very difficult.

Speaker 2

You should have got some credit, more credit than he deserves.

Speaker 4

What do players do? What do players do? Or what do fans do?

Speaker 3

When the player goes to another team and they come back to play in that stadium.

Speaker 4

They bow them every time. Let me ask you a question every time.

Speaker 1

Let's just say, for the sake of argument, the Miami Heat retires Lebron Jersey, you think they're gonna bo Lebron when you go back there?

Speaker 6

Yeah, absolutely not, absolutely not. Hell, when when they retires Jersey in Cleveland. You think you think they you know, dann Well ain't boring them out there in Cleveland.

Speaker 2

Thank you. That's all I'm saying. Oh Joe, that's all I'm saying.

Speaker 1

You mean to tell me for one night that man, will you could see it enough face the heartbreak, the anguish, hurt.

Speaker 2

Yeah.

Speaker 3

Yeah, listen, it's one thing about it. Fans don't forget nothing, and they don't show you no grace if they all feel a certain way collectively, no matter who it is, it was, it was, it was. It was distasteful and disgraceful.

Speaker 1

So absolutely Westion she Black said, Shannon, I brought your yack. I taste the cherry note on the finish. I'm still learning it though. I appreciate that. She I greatly appreciate your support. So please turn hit that subscribe button and turn the notifications on to make sure you don't miss a live episode of Uncan o'chumk uh an. One said, O yo unk. Why they ain't like Travis kelce go tight end? He can't see prime go. I got four years plus reasons why Gronk the goal tight In no disrespect of Prime Gronk was him. Look to each of those I think. I think Travis Kelson for me is the go based on what he's done his large body of work. I

mean nine consecutive Pro Bowls. He had him outside chance. I think what was gonna be his eighth consecutive thousand yard season, but he sent the game because remember he missed the first game and the last game, so he had nine.

Speaker 2

That's something.

Speaker 1

No tight end has ever had more than two consecutive thousand yard seasons.

Speaker 4

Right right, right, He's done it eight times.

Speaker 1

And as much as you say, y'all make it seem like a nephew ain't show up in the playoffs.

Speaker 2

I know Gronky showed up in the playoffs, but y'all have like he hasn't.

Speaker 1

I would have loved to see had injuries not rob Gronk of some of those seasons.

Why Kelce is the GOAT

Speaker 2

Now we could have a more. But for me, that's just me. I mean, to each his own.

Speaker 1

I mean some people say, okay, I still got Gronk, But for me, I think Trapp when I do his body of work.

Speaker 2

In totality I do, I do playoff, big game.

Speaker 1

There's never been a game in what you said, mad Man trave mad Trave have it to day, not in the playoffs, right and the totality of his regular season in postseason.

Speaker 2

For me, that's just me. But to each his own. If you got if you got Gronk, that's okay.

Speaker 4

That's one of those situations where you can't go wrong either where you go. It's it's a win win. It's all on preference.

Speaker 2

I think it.

Speaker 3

When it comes to that point, you gotta be damn near meticulous. Yeah, well this one didn't do this. You know, you gotta nitpick and you gotta find something wrong that the other didn't do because it's a win win either way.

Speaker 4

You go Gronk Kelsey again.

Speaker 3

At the end of the day, I do it all the time when it comes to receivers that that is just great in their own right. Li'sten and two different styles of players. They still play the same position. They both get it done, they just get it done differently. You know, it's more than one way to skin a cat, and that's what they've showed. I mean, you just got to pick the person that you like based on preference.

Speaker 2

But that's what it comes down to. Ojo. But here's the thing. When you're talking about the the two best, it shouldn't be a runaway.

Speaker 4

Yeah, it should be closed right right, It.

Speaker 1

Should be mm hmm. Well, I mean we're not we're not talking about we're not talking about eighties Rolls Royce in a seventy two pinto. I mean, it should it should be it should be close.

Speaker 2

Oo.

Speaker 1

So we're talking about two guys that dominated their era. But I think the only discussion that we can have is between those two guys. And I have the utmost respect for big kl Killing winslow sor the Ozzie Mackie. I have the utmost respect for those guys. Wint And has great numbers.

Speaker 4

And uh uh man gay my dog gas when he comes down to I.

Speaker 1

Mean body of work regular season in postseason. It's those two.

Speaker 2

It really is.

Speaker 1

It's those two right, And.

Speaker 2

I'm and I'm so to each his own wherever you want to rank him. But for me, I think Kelsey is.

Speaker 1

I like it. I like it. I like it. Jamal Grant asks under the right coach, Can Kyle Pence be shouting sharp two point zero and don't lie? Yes, he could be better because he has fact. I love the way he moves. I like to see what I watch a guy. I seem to like to see how fluid is. I like to see Katy drop his here, Kenny drop his hips, Canny get in and out of breaks. Can I do something with him because he canny be more than an in line tight end? Because I put him

in the slot. Can I put him out wide? Can he run us out route? Can he run us slant route? How much can I do with him? He the guy He's a guy that I can do a majority. I could put a lot of different things on his plate and he can eat it all. So yes, he absolutely can be that a baby, a big catcheratd he what six 'y five yeah? Six five four four yeah?

Speaker 3

Man, you know how you know the problem is is you can put a lot on his plate and he can eat it all. But the guy, damn Falcons ain't know what to do it. No, the Falcons ain't know what to do it. I'm not sure who was calling the plays. I'm not sure what the creativity came in when it came to calling the plays with a player of his caliber, even coming off injury, his eighty percent and not being a hundred, it's still better than most.

Speaker 1

Right. And the thing is, O, Joe, you know when when you get a I mean, the guy had a thousand yards as a rookie. The tightest I mean, the only title I can think of this ever had a thousand yards as a rookie is Mike Dicker. Yeah, you got to go back to the sixty. This kid had a thousand yard And I say a kid, but he's a young man, so forgive me. This young man had a thousand yards as.

Speaker 2

A true rookie.

Speaker 1

And I understand that he got hurt, but you got to give him opportunities. You gotta give him opportunity. And he got a Drake London.

Speaker 2

Yeah.

Speaker 1

Man, Please, I'm not saying what he should have had. I believe he should have had more opportunities than targets than what he got right and what he do what he does with those, But look, I mean, you gotta get somebody can get in the ball. Come on, man, he got Tyler Heineken and Taylor Taylor, Taylor, he got Heinike and Desmond Ritter. Man, come on now, I mean you look at the look at the tight ends, look at the tight ends that made the Pro Bowl, and look who they got thrown to him.

Speaker 2

Yeah, I mean you look at Kelsey, look at kittle a, look at la Porter.

Speaker 1

And then Djoku and Joku came And when when when the flag util go and Joku took off? Yeah?

Speaker 4

Crazy, that that's it.

Speaker 1

You got to give somebody, give me someone can have all the talent in the world, but if you.

Speaker 2

Don't know how to use them and you can't get them.

Speaker 4

The ball, So what is it? What is it? Exactly what they did over there in Atlanta.

Speaker 2

Oh Joe.

Speaker 1

The difference is somebody that knows a cook, a chef, whatever you wanted to call them, can come in your refridger, can come look at your refrigerator and make you a meal those same ingredients. You're like, what the hell I'm supposed to do with this? Right, That's what the that's what a player is. That's an ingredient. Unless you know what the hell to do with it, it is just sit there. And that's what we see far too many times. Well, this is my system. Your system ain't worth the damn

if you don't use the players that you have. You got to car to your system, to the players that you have. Don't don't tell about the players cater to your system.

Speaker 3

Yeah, and I mean that's that's the that's the lack of creativity that most officer coordinators have because you know, ego gets in the way.

Speaker 4

This is my system.

Speaker 3

I know how to work it instead of not really changing your system, but allowing those that are in it to benefit and help you and make you look well. Because if you play, if you have a great system and use a player that you have in your system, that obviously opens up doors for you as well. Right, But I don't think they see it that. I don't think they see it like that.

Speaker 1

Well, clearly they don't because they're not using them adequately, because I think he should be.

Speaker 2

There's not a.

Speaker 1

Season in which you should not have eighty five to one hundred balls for one thousand yards, especially with seventeen games now easily, Hell, I had my old lass, had had in fifteen games. I had seven hundred and seventy yards and eight touchdowns my last year in the league. Okay, hell I know these young dudes should be able to talk that at least.

Speaker 4

Yeah, shit, sounds like you're still playing.

Speaker 1

You play what bad?

Speaker 2

That's my old lass?

Speaker 3

Hey?

Speaker 2

Get that there? Oh, ture, we got forty one.

Speaker 4

You've been in the weight room too. I don't know that.

Speaker 2

That's all.

Speaker 1

That's just to keep the people upout me. I ain't gonnt to take no hips. I can't take no here. So yo, ain't gonna lie.

Speaker 2

Man? You hit me how much? Shadow like ice? You know?

Speaker 1

You drop ice on the floor the kitchen. Don't Joindy go all over the place. Yeah, somebody hit me like that, That's how I would do.

Speaker 2

I'm gonna go.

Speaker 1

I'm just first all over the place. Oh tr we got forty one thousand to chat. Thank you everyone, each of every one of you that's in the chat. Please make sure you hit that light button, hit that subscribe button. We're now at seven hundred and seventy six thousand subscribers. We gotta go. What's our goal for next week? Go yo, next Sunday. This time we got to be an eight hundred k. Yeah, listen, I really I still think Thursday.

Speaker 2

Hell nah, hell no, Thursday, Thursday, Thursday.

Speaker 4

Okay, Okay, I still I still have a feeling for some reason, I'm not sure why. I feel like.

Speaker 3

Before we mad Lives get that million, if before we do that live show in Vegas, some tell me we're gonna be at a million, and it's gonna be perfect, because obviously, you know, I've never had alcohol before, I've never drank before. But I'm gonna celebrate, celebrate you. And I'm saying, God, forgive me, God forgive me. But if we hit that million before we hit that live show in super Bowl in Vegas, I'm finna drink some of that cognac.

Speaker 4

Hey, I'm gonna give me some of that cognac. I'm telling you.

Speaker 1

Lord, for Lord, forgive you for what you go do the rail that night you get so out of your sister. That's what you need to forgive before.

Speaker 4

Wait what what what happened when when you get alcohol in your system? What that brow? Boy?

Speaker 1

You ain't up had no liquor?

Speaker 2

Wood?

Speaker 4

Come on, now, you know, don't drink?

Speaker 2

Man, talk to me. You heard about the Great Depression?

Speaker 4

Yeah, yeah, we study that in school.

Speaker 2

Yeah, that's gonna be that thing. Be hard like the Great Depression. Yeah you're like that, don't you?

Speaker 4

Hey, is you think that's one of the reasons why people drink in general? You can't.

Speaker 1

You don't eave but a little bit.

Speaker 2

You can do it.

Speaker 1

Sometimes you can overdo it, right, Boy? Height about I have a couple of them diamonds on me. I'm gonna slip what today?

Speaker 4

Let me get that, Let me get let me listen. I tried, I try.

Speaker 3

Speaker 1

You know, but everybody know what it is. Look at the chance, y'all tell you what them diamonds are. What it is.

Speaker 3

But I so I told my doctor, man, you know, I want to get the blue diamonds that I be talking about. I even showed him a clip and he talked like, man, you don't know what the hell I'm talking about.

Speaker 2

Yeah, you know what you're talking about.

Speaker 4

Yeah, I'm gonna try that.

Speaker 2

I'm ready.

Speaker 1

We got it.

Speaker 4

Speaker 3

Tell your family, tell your uncles, tell your cousins, tell your your coworkers.

Speaker 4

Speaker 1

I wanted to say personally, thank you guys. The Cat William Interview is now forty seven million views. So all of you guys that have watched it, that have told a family or a friend or a loved one to watch it, those guys that have downloaded, from the bottom of my heart, I sincerely thank you, and hopefully you guys enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed sitting down

with Cat. I see where he's adding more tour dates, which is great because I definitely benefited by having him on the show and so hopefully he's benefiting people getting an opportunity to see just how funny he is and getting off get an opportunity to see him. I think you're gonna come back to La and May and I'm definitely gonna be at his show real quick, go ahead, don't be going to do no number twoials think it they'll be Hey, close the door and turn the water on.

Nobody want to hear you be going? Uh being on the microphone? Stop talking. I don't know why people like talking when they go to the bathroom. Man, shut up and do your business and get up out of there. Man, I go in the bathroom, Hey, aren't you No, I ain't nobody be quiet. I ain't nothing to talk about. Man, way do we get up out of here? We talking like you know me or something. I ain't got nothing to say when I'm at the urinal. And I don't

know where they get that from. I mean, who started that, Chad? Who started talking to one another in the bathroom? What we talking about? So what we're saying is so important it can't wait till we get our ass up about the bathroom. And I'm not gonna shake your hand when you coming in or out of the bathroom because I have seen too many people go in there and don't watch that and just pull it and pull the luggage right up out of there. And y'all want a brother

to come up in there and shake your hand. Nob bro, let's go on to the hey, get these knuckles up, because I ain't got nothing for you, damn. I'm telling

Urinals, Do's and don'ts

you now, I ain't. No, no, I'm not shaking your hand in the bathroom.

Speaker 4

In the bathroom, man, people hand in the bathroom.

Speaker 1

Y'all be talking, see just like you was talking about. Okay, why you talking while you in the bathroom.

Speaker 4

Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no no. I just I would just I would just letting you know, just let you know right quick.

Speaker 1

Did you wash your hands? Oh?

Speaker 4

I ain't even I ain't even got the grab. I ain't even got I ain't even got the grab. What you squat? Huh? You squatted? Noah, because it did fall in the water. I don't, I don't, I don't sit on. Ain't you well? You all you are them a personal business. I'm just I'm just letting you know. I just no, no, I ain't.

Speaker 2

Speaker 4

Listen, you got it, you got listen people chat.

Speaker 3

Y'all got to understand you're in a bathroom etiquette in general, bathroom eedquitt in general. When you go to games, when you go to places, you always skip the funeral a urinal always skip you, and you never hold a conversation. You don't make eye contact, you don't look left, you don't look right, you look straight ahead, you look straight ahead. You don't try to peek over, don't you.

Speaker 4

Don't do none of that. That's some some people. A lot of people are lacking that. A lot of people. I don't have people follow me in the bathroom. What what's up? I just wanted to come say what up?

Speaker 2

You can say that at home.

Speaker 3

On brother, I'm gonna catch you on the outside, bro, don't don't don't do that. Don't do that.

Speaker 1

Man.

Speaker 3

I love you, but you got you got to have some type of etiquette, especially bathroom edicut.

Speaker 4

You don't do that, man, That's rule number one.

Speaker 2

Come on now, anybody want to shake haird y'all.

Speaker 1

Come on, bro, I just saw too many people go into the bathroom and come up out the stall. Cause I'm already assuming you do a lot to don't because me, you know, when I go in there, I just I'm just you know, I'm just peeing.

Speaker 2

I ain't going. I ain't never going to the bathroom. You the bathroom. Do number two?

Speaker 4

You don't do number two in public? You come on, man, it.

Speaker 1

Gotta be at least for if I'm staying at twenty four forty eight hours and I ain't got nowhere to go.

Speaker 2

What I'm talking about just a normal flight. Oh no, I don't.

Speaker 4

I don't. Man, Listen, I do number one, number two, number three, It don't matter.

Speaker 2

Yeah, you do three, all both of them.

Speaker 4

Nasty, they don't. I'm just telling it don't matter this.

Speaker 3

When you gotta go, you gotta go all that, you know, holding yourself and and mess it up to your bowel movement, and you got your stomach be hurting, if.

Speaker 1

You got stomach be hurting. The bathroom nasty? They nasty? Oh Jo they nasty?

Speaker 4

Wasn't it?

Speaker 3

The places you go? The establishment you go because you you are a man of class. You ain't nothing nasty about that.

Speaker 2

You at the airport, you got the airport bathroom.

Speaker 4

All you gotta do is take the toilet paper. They got a little seat cushions for you. You you layer the seat up, You dressed the seat up. There, you sit down.

Speaker 1

Ain't that much messing up. They can't put a new pair of pants and shoes on that thing to make me sit on it.

Speaker 4

So you don't use it. You don't use the bathroom in the airport.

Speaker 2

Well no, why all right?

Speaker 1

Boy? I don't eat all kinds of food because I already know what's gonna mess my stomach up, so I don't eat fool with it. But you, but you and I can't go on though playing because I'm too big. Hey, I have to leave the door. I have to leave the door, but don't you. I'll be my head out the wheeling like this there on your Then they close the door. I said, I can't.

Speaker 2

That's all I got for about you.

Speaker 1

So you know the plane out out for me? Yeah, Hey, that's a good one. That's a good one.

Speaker 4

That's a good one. But you do listen.

Speaker 3

Maybe maybe it's just me. I just I've always been that way I have no problem using the bathroom. I don't care where I am. When I gotta go, I gotta go. If they got toilet tissue, I'm I'm a layer. I'm a double it though. Sometimes when you go to establishments, most establishment use one fly toilet tissue. But that's not the good one, you know, because your wipe that you God damn figure, go right through that, right.

Speaker 2

Yeah.

Speaker 3

I always layer it twice, lay it down on the toilet, sit down, get comfortable.

Speaker 1

I go in the woods first and get on in the woods. Nah, I rather go in the wood, o joe. I'll tell you what I find.

Speaker 3

I find comfort in using the bathroom in public. Comfort in that I keep it rolling toilet paper in my car and my truck.

Speaker 4

I go to the woods first, real, yeah, for your woods.

Speaker 2

I hit the woods.

Speaker 4

You know you out there in the country. So I understand that.

Speaker 1

Oh yeah, I understand. Roll left and flashes on plenty of time, run right up, right up in the woods. Oh no, whatever I got, we got. I got that for my granddady, my grand That's how my granddaddy wood.

Speaker 2

Yeah.

Speaker 1

So my granddad always kept rolling toilet paper in his cars. I always keep it rolling toilet. I mean people like, man, why you gotta roll the toilet paper in case?

Speaker 4

Right?

Speaker 3

Okay, okay, Hey, I said, I did it for twenty years. I don't know that them boards ain't nothing to play with because you don't know what's out there.

Speaker 4

I know what.

Speaker 1

I know what's gonna be out there when I leave. That was was gonna be out there. That is what's gonna be out there when I leave.

Speaker 4

O yoke ship, Baby, you're may you be at that ship in the the woods?

Speaker 1

Oh I will, Lady Ray said, I hope you're feeling better. How do you handle here in somewhat part in a bathroom? I laugh out loud.

Speaker 4

Listen, you go to that urina, You go to that urina and somebody else in there with you.

Speaker 1

You're gonna have every time? Yeah, oh man, every time? Man, what's what's the thing for me? I mean, I'm like, I pretend like I don't really hear it. But it's when it's like they're in the when they're in the stalls.

Speaker 4

And.

Speaker 2

I said, god, I said what the.

Speaker 1

Speaker 2

But hey, bro, hey, Curtsey flood Broke, come on now.

Speaker 1

I mean sometimes I think they'll be trying to see how much they can pile up in there.

Speaker 2

Mann.

Speaker 1

Let men, let that go. You did that, trust, But that's you.

Speaker 4

Mm hmm.

Speaker 1

I you know what, lady, I ain't gonna lie just I just like just honestly real talk. Oh yo, I really like hold my breath when I go into the bathroom.

Speaker 4

How you gonna hold it? Come on?

Speaker 1

Speaker 4

You being extra Now you can't hold your breath that long?

Speaker 2

Oh jo?

Speaker 1

I mean, oh yo, it's not like I'm ordered. I already know what I gotta do when I get in there.

Speaker 4

Speaker 1

Ain't done, no menu or hell. I already know what I gotta do. I'm going, I'm go put and I'm coming up out of there.

Speaker 4

What I mean?

Speaker 2

What how you go in the bathroom? What you doing?

Speaker 1

Speaker 2

Hey, man, that's a nice lugget you got. Hey what's your name? Hey? You bingles fan?

Speaker 4

Hey? Where are you from?

Speaker 2

You cared on conversation?

Speaker 1

Who talking in the bathroom?

Speaker 2

I don't talk.

Speaker 3

I don't talk in the bathroom. I have bathroom etiquette. I always eyes ahead, straight forward, front center. Sure, don't may eye contact with nobody. Don't look left, don't look right, don't look down, straight ahead, Yea, I'm in there.

Speaker 4

Wash your hands.

I said, Man, I'm going to get Waller puppy. He said, where you're going to? Say, I'm going to Ohio. He said, they got bring me one back. So I brought back three dogs. And I brought back three rock Waller puppets from Ohio.

Speaker 2

And I had him.

Speaker 1

I had him for like two weeks, and he told my sister, say go pick up his. He was gonna come down, come to Glenville to pick up his, and I kept my two. Man, they're a handful now. But as a matter of fact, o joe for me. Because I was out of school, I didn't have anything to do all seeing the train. So I would get up like I started getting up like every two hours, take him out. Then I spaced out every three hours, and every four hours, then six hours, then eight hours. Now

they can hold it through the night. Okay, I get him outside to go party. I give him a treat. Now, they asso said, Okay, if I do this outside.

There's nothing like that love that no matter how bad your day is, when you come home and you see that puppy, or you see what it becomes a doll.

Speaker 2

Ain't no love like that. There's no love like an animal love for to a far human nothing.

Speaker 4

Speaker 2

I so said.

Speaker 1

She cried all the way home. She said, and I can't do it again. She said, I can't ain't no pain like that. She said, I can't share it.

Speaker 4

Ain't no pain, ain't no ain't no pain like that.

Speaker 3

Ain't no pain like that losing listens, I lost my mother, lost my grandma, and I remember having to put down one of my dogs in my in my early my adolescent years. Yeah, I haven't had a dog in years because I still remember what that felt like.

Speaker 4

Oh yeah back then.

Speaker 3

I'm not saying it's the equivalent of it's clos felt like losing my grandma, Mama. It's damn nick clothes boy, it is. That's a that's an unbearable pain, man, unbearable.

Speaker 3

That's that's why I told you what to do. It's a mind thing. You got to You got to be able to play mind games. You got to eliminate you gotta eliminate where you at and take your mind somewhere else.

Speaker 1

I'm telling you what my mind is. If the first thing, hey, the first thing, if you hear God damn, but it's over. And I said for me, okay, that said, I'm sorry, Okay, mhm, same time tomorrow. Speaker 4

You need twenty four hours to get your mind I got.

Speaker 1

I wouldn't expect it what I got. She called me off guard. She called me off guard.

Speaker 2

O't Joe. I didn't know what it's gonna be like that.

Speaker 1

So now I gotta refocus I gotta come in with ammunition, right right, right right, I gotta come in thinking about what I'm thinking about. I'm thinking about some flowers. I'm thinking about shoes that's not like beautiful.

Speaker 2

There you go, there you go, and I need to like came if I see your body?

Speaker 3

Yeah, so yeah, yeah, I see you. I feel Listen, I ain't, I ain't, I ain't. I remember them days long time, long, long, long, long long time. You remember them days? You know I had them some good days too, but there.

Speaker 1

Ain't no bad on So I mean, you know, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Yeah, I mean, but that's your fault. That's your fault.

Speaker 4

You're right. It happened to the best of us.

Speaker 3

We all been we we we we all been through them days and at times it's embarrassing.

Speaker 4

But what we do have to do is is redeem myself.

Speaker 3

You got to redeem yourself because if you don't, it's gonna be tough, because if you don't redeem yourself, you know, sometime they're blocking, they won't even answer your call them more.

Speaker 2

I mean, O, Joe, I mean, you know you beat that your oh girl, I give you.

Speaker 3

A oh, don't don't talk no ship and don't show up, don't talk, no ship, don't show up.

Speaker 4

Boy girl. You won't believe this, motherfucker.

Speaker 3

Now, yeah, you got you gotta yeah, you got you the the this and the performance and the talk and it gotta go hand in hand.

Speaker 4

If it don't. But it's gonna be it's gonna be rough.

Speaker 2

Yeah.

Speaker 1

But what I'm saying you be rough. I have good intentions. You just here like you hear me out, hear me out. I want you to hear me out.

Speaker 2

Stay with me now, stay with you, staying with stay with me, o Joe, stay with me now.

Speaker 1

I have good intentions, right right, but it's their fault, right, you're right, you're right.

Speaker 2

I'm like, I'm.

Speaker 4

Coming now time I'm wishing, I'm wishing.

Speaker 3

I'm with you when you're right, because sometimes we have a plan, yes, but every time you have a plan doesn't mean you're going to execute it the way you thought it was.

Speaker 4

It will come out. So I'm with you when you're right.

Speaker 2

Thank you. I just asked you.

Speaker 3

And women they need to understand that sometimes they're not understanding. Sometimes they're not understanding or forgiving, but they're the blame. Mm hmm, yeah, the blame yeah, put that, and that's what they need to do. Women need to learn to take accountability.

Speaker 2

They know what you got that?

Speaker 1

You got that?

Speaker 3

Ooh?

Speaker 1

We you mad at me because I can't lay no fifteen minutes in there? Yeah it's hot in here, I mean, come on, yeah, so let't be mad at me. I mean helping brother out. I'm doing the best. I'm doing the best I can.

Speaker 2

I promise you. That's not my intention. But it happened, and I'm sorry.

Speaker 4

Yeah it does, it does, it does. It don't matter, it don't matter how Oh yeah, it happens. Yeah, I just like.

Speaker 1

You know, I was, I was playing on jumping up and down with about ten fifteen. Yeah, did, but I think I might have went. You are on that last one in it? Yeah?

Speaker 4

Yeah, you don't waste that diamond for no reason?

Speaker 2

Oh no, no, no, oh oh Joe. Yeah, Hey, have you ever seen me turned to the sidelight?

Speaker 4

This here?

Speaker 1

You just start looking around.

Speaker 2

It won't be long now.

Speaker 1

It won't be long now, Joe, I get to dominated, you know, like the camp said, he got his tail caught in the washing machine, know, Joe, he said it won't be long now. I didn't know what he was talking about he talking about his tail wouldn't be long anymore, or it wouldn't be long before it'll all be over.

Speaker 2

Boy, I put that back.

Speaker 1

Yeah yeah, no, what you say you do?

Speaker 4

Huh?

Speaker 1

How yeah? How you mom and dad? I'm just trying to buy some time I'm stolen, you know, trying about time that that thing get through the system.

Speaker 4

Yeah yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2

So where are you? You're the youngest, you're the oldest.

Speaker 3

Okay school now?

Speaker 4

Oh yeah, okay.

Speaker 2

To be let you know what I'm saying. What y'all look at the what? Oh okay that think about it? All right, let's go. Let's go and let's go. Let's gold. There's go's they y'all got to turn old Joe, it's all.

Speaker 4

Uh, that's that's funny, that's funny.

Speaker 1

Mark Mark asked, Oh, Joe, do you make the Hall of Fame if you go to New England earlier in your career?

Speaker 4

H that's a good question. I'm not sure, not probably probably, Yeah, what do you think?

Speaker 1

Uh no, because you can't be who you are mm hmmm. And I believe that's why you didn't have the success that you did when you went to New England, because you couldn't be o Yo, Sinko, you had to be Chad Johnson.

Speaker 4

Well, you can't be that over there. They don't play that ship. Well. Also, they had two hundred million other options as well, right.

Speaker 1

Believe in that if you could be you, if you were allowed to be you, and half of you you you suppressed so much.

Speaker 4

Of who you were.

Speaker 1

Well he told me I had too, though, But that's what I'm saying. So No, at the end of the day, I mean, O Joe, you gotta be who you are. Remember we just said, you don't fit a system.

Speaker 2

To the player. You let the I mean, you don't you let the player. You fit your system to the player.

Speaker 4

Boy, that won't gonna work over there. That's a different ball game.

Speaker 2

Okay, there you go.

Speaker 4

That's the game over there. But you know what, they know what they had over there during that time. Listen, just just listen to the squad offensively.

Speaker 3

Gronk yeah, Aaron Nandez yeah, Wes Welker, yeah, Julian Edelman, Dion Branch Just that's just five right there. What the fuck am I doing there? I'm just five already with.

Speaker 1

The exception, with the exception of Gronk and your absolute best when you will o your sinko you better than everybody else over than Gronk.

Speaker 3

Yeah, but it don't work like that. But that's what I How does that How does that offense run? Unless your last name is Moss?

Speaker 1

But that's what I'm saying, because you can't be you at the end of the day. You gotta be you, ojo. I was very fortunate that I played with coaches that my person, that they let me be me. M m I understood, Mike, Hey, Mike understood that. I knew when it was time to work, but I knew when it was time to play. And I'm gonna get the other girls. We're gonna were gonna be loose, we're gonna have fun, and we're gonna Hey, we're gonna get this job done.

Speaker 2

Same thing with Brian.

Speaker 1

So you got to have guys that understand the players and let the player be themselves. Why do you think look at os I just said, don't change nothing. Yeah, all the players they go to Baltimore, they have their own individual You understand, you play like a raven.

Speaker 2

That's the only thing that we ask Yeah.

Speaker 4

Yeah, man, it was some fun days. Man. Great great, great great team though great team.

Speaker 1

Faith asked, I, oh, Joy Shannon, don't defy your sister, but I have you and O Joe considered writing a book the importance of hard work and positivity for young adults. I think of being packedful, especially for young black boys. Feel better at Ash, feel.

Speaker 2

Better, Ash feel better, Shattered feel a better?

Speaker 1

Uh, I can't even get I called as the day an one o'clock. Ash called me back at four o'clock about Yeah. I said, I'll just tell you what you want, I said, Ash, I don't forgotten now, Hell, I called you at one o'clock. You called me back at four o'clock.

Speaker 2

Come about what is it? What did I want? Whatever it was, I don't want it now.

Speaker 1

I don't need it.

Speaker 2

Good thing.

Speaker 1

I eldnt call you for an emergency. I know who the person not to call if I'm in jail. Do not wish to call on Ash. She's sleeping through that call. I'm just telling you now, she's gonna sleep through that damn call. I ain't never better person sleep as much as Ash. No, you sleep that much even when you're not sick. You talk about you sick. That's an excuse. Who comes telling about Guess what time I woke up to day. I mean, yes, what they said. You know,

I saw people come into him. I guess what I did last night, Shannon, Guess what time I woke up to day? I don't know now, I woke up like two.

Speaker 2

What who sleeps? You tell me what?

Speaker 1

Grown person can sleep until two o'clock in the afternoon. Two o'clock in the afternoon. But what if you went out the night before? Well, unless you went out and came in at twelve, that's the only time. Think about it, Oh, Joe, ash don't go out, m okay. So she's like, she going to bed at like nine thirty ten on nights that we don't have Nightcap. And even though the nights that we have nightcamp, let's just say we have nightcap. So the night so what time it's ten thirty, ten

thirty six? Okay, So by the time she gets home, let's just say it's gonna be eleven thirty. Right, ashall literally sleep till at one o'clock of two o'clock. Oh, oh, I'll your halftime time the game come up at what thirty? She's gonna cook up at halftime?

Speaker 3

Right?

Speaker 4

Oh?

Speaker 2

She's like, this is ridiculous. You know what faith. I have not thought about writing a motivational book. I don't know. Maybe Ocho has, uh.

Speaker 4

But I have it for me.

Speaker 3

If I was write a book, and I've been preaching it for the past damn near thirty years. If I'm going to write a book, the only thing I need to focus on with my people is financial literacy and discipline when it comes to having the money.

Speaker 4

That's it. That's what I'm that's that's that's my focal point. That's my focal point.

Speaker 3

So but I like, I like the book she's talking about, But for me, my direction and sole purpose would be financial literacy.

Speaker 4

Yes, we bad, were bad, aren't we bad?

Speaker 7

Man?

Speaker 2

Yeah we don't, we don't.

Speaker 1

I mean, it's it's I mean, it takes a special type of person that's really never had money, never had to manage money, and all of a sudden, Oh Joe, you come into a large summer money. And that's most of us coming from the background in which we came from the community which we came from. We've never had the ton of the kind of money that we're gonna have that as a professional athlete or an entertainer or

rapper or celebrity or whatever. The case may be we had access to that type of money, and so to understand it because a lot of times people think, oh, I may I lost that money.

Speaker 2

I'll get it back. It doesn't work like that. You might not hit that lick again.

Speaker 3

They always had this feeling that that play is gonna always hit. They always had this feeling and Okay, if this don't hit no more, something else will come along.

Speaker 4

That will. Man, every dog has its day and.

Speaker 2

It don't.

Speaker 4

It don't work like that. Yeah, it definitely don't work like that.

Speaker 1

It absolutely doesn't work that way that. I just think that I just wish that we could. We can applaud other success, our success. But it takes a special type of person to be in a group with someone and still cheer for them as they start to take off and not become resemble. That's what's disappointing to me.

Speaker 2

I'm a.

Speaker 4

I roote.

Speaker 1

I just like I said, I don't think I'm better as a better person. I might think I can do a job, I can do this better than somebody else can do this. Do I think I'm better than you as a person? No, But I do think I can do this better than someone else can do this. But I just wish we applauded each other and didn't talk

so negative about one another. When somebody else starts to do better than somebody else, it happens, and oh Joe, it might look we might not have but three to five years nightcap and if somebody else might come along and have something that the fans and the chat and and and advertising sponsors want to grasp, moo too, but don't show we had a hell of a three to five year run.

Speaker 2

Why would we talk?

Speaker 1

Why would we talk bad about Bill? I'm not wired like that. It's just it's look, it's always gonna be there. It's gonna be someone else's turn. It happened. If you play sports, you understand that. You understand that the likelihood of you being on top your whole fifteen to twenty year career, if you're fortunate enough to play that long, it's not very likely. So you'll you're accepting of that. All I can do is to be Let me be the best I can possibly be, and hopefully that's good enough.

Speaker 2

That's it.

Speaker 1

I can only be the best I can be, and hopefully the people that are that have follow Shannon and watch Shannon and listening to Shannon. Still like that, Shannon. But when it's time to go, hey, I'll move it along. Probably packed my issue up. Uh, definitely gonna get up out of California. You ain't gonna be paying all the highest taxes name a working here. Well, No, I'm thinking about moving as the deals. We're not moving to Texas though. Yeah,

you can move to Atlanta. Uh, might go to Vegas or Nashville.

Speaker 3
