Beatnik Show (S5E16)

At a brand new and very hip beatnik joint, Laverne & Shirley have to perform on stage to pay the cover charge. Shirley lays on a scarf dance, while Laverne accompanies on bongos. The cats dig it, and Shirley becomes enamored of the beatnik scene in a big way, which makes Laverne feel like she's losing her best friend. While she's still deep in her despair over this turn of events, Lenny arrives to give Laverne some sound advice and pep-talking. But even with the inspiration he's given her in her back pocket, can Laverne get her bestie to remember her?
