Episode description

Nick is joined by Lydia Hislop to discuss the latest from around the racing world. With news that the BHA is likely to introduce new rules for declaring horses non-runners in adverse technical circumstances (malfunctioning stalls etc.), we hear from owner/breeder Jon Babb (Shropshire Wolves), who laments the rigidity of current regulations after last week's Wolverhampton stalls debacle and the resulting costs to owners of the sport's mishaps. Also on today's show, trainer Ed Walker and agent Katie Walsh reflect on a great day yesterday on the track and in the sales ring respectively, while Ben Atkins provides our Point to Point report and JA McGrath checks in from Hong Kong. Lydia gives her thoughts on the Grand National and the upcoming risk checks announcement.
