NHL Wraparound Short Shifts - Change in Philly, Class by OV - March 28, 2025

After guiding the Flyers to the final game of last regular season before being eliminated, John Tortorella was let go by the Flyers Thursday. With a weak roster by NHL standards, a 1-10-1 slide prompted the fifth coaching change this season.

As usual, several points can be raised and we do just that.

In the meantime, in his first game, interim head coach Brad Shaw faced the eighth seed in the east, the Montreal Canadiens, with a lot on the line for the Habs. In addition, the Senators and Red Wings met in a pivotal game for both while the Blues looked to extend their hold on a wild card spot in the West.
