1 John 4:12-18
Our relationship with God is not performance based acceptance. We obey Him because we love Him, not to keep Him loving us. He loved us first, and He continues in perfect love toward us, unconditionally. God sees us as He sees Christ. Love is matured (perfected) in us when we understand His love. This gives us boldness and confidence in our relationship with Him.
