In doing so, her work questions “the role they will play in our transhumanist future.” Silver’s work also reflects a shifting paradigm into the broader art world: taste is the new skill. With AI tools that — in theory — can execute any artistic idea, all that’s left is the idea, which can only come from the artist themselves.
