¶ TEN v KC
NFL Game Debut is a production of the NFL in partnership with I Heart Radio. This is NFL Game Previews, where we give you a preview of every game on the Week nine slate. Call me any name in the book, just don't call me an analyst. I'm merely game preview guy. We start this week's slate with Sunday Night football action. The Kansas City Chiefs are at home this week, had Week eight off. They welcome a familiar foe, the Tennessee Titans, whose offense has a familiar look. Rices that has brought
from previewing this game seems so simple. King Henry is really good. In the past, Kansas City's defense has sucked against the run. Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes. Titans past defense isn't very good. Okay, here are panels picks. No, not yet,
but sure that's it. On the surface. We all saw Derrick Henry last week over two hundred yards on the ground, close to seven yards per attempt in a sich where everyone knew he was getting the ball, had his best game of the year ten five Did he get there touchdown? Henry isn't up against his grandpa's casey run defense. Though they're a team used to handing out five yards a pop to runners. How about four point two yards per
carry allowed this season? They have to play at that level this week to keep Tennessee from its preferred formula. He runs into that, Nick Bolton, So how about the other way around? Patrick Mahomes hit their break in great shape. Here's what you need to know. No Tyreek higher yard per attempt figure than this year. Mahomes averaging eight yards per game last year four higher yard per completion by over a yard. Mahomes wide open. It's student Smith Schuster
trying to get to the end zone. Here will for the touchdown. Titans DBS up against a passing attack primarily built around three Travis Kelsey the focal point. Mr. Drip leads Casey and target. It's close to eighty yards a game. Juju has given them about seventy yards. MBS follows with about fifty all their side. It's caught to to smith suser towinge. Has a man found that state light macks to catch Mahomes end zolved. He's got another four on the night. Travis Kelsey yet again, So how bad is
the Titans past defense? They weren't against Davis Mills in Week eight. But let's be real, Houston's passing attack is no offensive juggernaut on the season, given up a rating over ninety five, completion percentage in the high sixties. Fourteen tds allowed taking a deep shot down the middle of the field for pound, He's got touchdown. Tennessee needs to hope for sustained pressure against Mahomes. They have the capacity to pull it off. Thirty three point nine percent pressure
rate without blitzing a lot is plenty impressive. Four pass rushers with three plus sacks. Jeffrey Simmons got a bag in week eight, leads the team with five and a half under pressure, and he is gonna go down. That is Jeffrey Simmons. Mahomes has been pressured his drop backs. That's average pressure rate Titans quarterbacks face when they dropped back. Far from average. Malik Willis filled in for Ryan Tannehill last week, may have to this week too. He only
dropped back thirteen times, got sacked three times. Tennessee is allowed a forty three point five pressure rate over thirty stinks over forties. Beef and cheese breath territory, Well, it's cheffing Tigers and can't check the last one. The entire Tennessee passing attacks slash of their O line versus the Kansas City pass rush and its secondary the overwriting X factor matchup in this game. The Titans aren't a passing team, no matter who the QB is. They don't have the parts.
They live in the South poll four pass attempts for a reason willis to throw. But as good as the Chiefs have played the run this season, same can't be said about their past defense, a hundred and three point eight rating against, allowing sixty eight percent of passes to be completed seventeen TVs. Only three I N T Staropolo and so for the touchdown. Based on Tennessee's pass protection issues,
you'd think Casey's passed brush could make a dent. Chris Jones five sacks their plant leader overall pass rushes neither great nor terrible. He's dropped again. Chris Jones came in and he got the ball loose to our ten person

picks panel went all k C. Not a single Titans believer. I sort of want to though. Colossal Week nine matchup between two preseason Super Bowl favorites. The Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Laura Bay players do we do it all season? Facing off with the one Super Bowl champion? L A Rams Let go, do let up? Do let up? Scared Tom Brady the Goat, his ledge and dairy resume speaks for itself. Where do you know what they're gonna do? Got?
He's a dead I just gottas the fund Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey, daring him, go ahead, Punk, make my day. Let's go, Let's go as if Jalen even knows who Dirty Harry is. Mike Evans, though knows who Jalen is. He remembers seeing him in his rear view mirror the last time Ramsey tried to shadow him. Those of allD Alfield. He's got heabits told the insult habits bas to catch touch stops having five. What a great frol y Brady,
Jalen Ramsey beating on that road. Maybe the Goat defensive tackle applying some l A heat to Brady A d the true All Day TV twelve, always having to be on the lookout. Aaron Donald is lurky plessure goes Donald again, and he is making his mark. The Buck's secondary having to try and track a ghost. How does Cooper c keep getting open? It's like he's invisible at time, staffed looking for Cooper Cup over the shoulder, rab and cups in Now for reality. The Rams have lost three of
their last four. Look at it, throw it, cares it out. That's how you quiet open. Please got it for the touchsdown? The Bucks five of their last six throws, and it's in the back of the engine holding there. Touchdown Tom Brady last week twenty five yards, no picks. He isn't a turnover machine or anything this season, but he ain't right and it keeps showing up on third down four and their most recent outing stirred down and could man Brady dances throws too high and incomplete. Rams defency faces
rating aloud over ninety five. Ramsey even had a subpar outing versus San Francisco last week, gave up a touchdown. He's got it for the touchsdown? Wow, Rams pass rush sure. Donald has four sacks l a as a whole, blitzing over thirty percent of the time. Fresher rate low twenties. That's not a good split. He worked all the way across his progression. You know who else has that kind of split though, I assume you guessed Tampa Bay, who
is now without Shack Barrett as well. Nice job of buying time, p J Walker d J. Moore so placed their wounded pass rush in front of a wounded Rams offensive line. Mr Pizza Pizza has been planted planted over three times a game. Fresh er rate allowed over thirty two. Two sacks taken last week was an improvement. And there comes post says Stafford is down buck Secondary. No Stafford will go to Cup. He's like death and taxes at this point. Only the Cheetah has been targeted more this season.
Last week eight catches, seventy nine yards and the TV. That's a bad week for him. Lost a into Papa Father touchdown. The week got worse because he got hurt at the end of the game. Can't fathom what Stafford would do without him as Trooper Cup is down after that catch. My goodness, Stafford only through for a hundred and eighty seven yards against the forty niners five point seven per throw. Didn't face as much pressure as normal,
but there was heat in the kitchen. His most recent dud partially tied to his inability to hook up with his side pass catcher. As it were, Stafford hasn't managed to drop take what a lamp Forever. Ramo passing attack has been a two man show. But Tyler Higbee got the Eric Foreman treatment last week. He was a key player all season, and all of a sudden he gets written out of the most recent episode. Six targets, two catches, fifteen yards, trying to get hate involved, so miscommunication there.
Maybe he gets written back in this week. That's how Hollywood works. Bucks have played the past solid, but for what it's worth against the Ravens last week, Lamar Jackson had a good game against them. His primary targets tight ends. Bucks faced thirteen targets to tight ends, gave up ten catches a hundred and fourteen yards in the score. That is caught and into Bucks territory and shedding tacklers. Isaiah likely round tap for each team. That's it. That's the
punch line. Neither team ever attacks anyone on the ground Bucks or twenty nine in rush attempts so far, Rams got them beat the fewest handoffs in the NFL. Whevers cuts back, there's not there. If either team has success coding of this week, it's because both teams defenses are giving up four point three or more. Tampa Bay the easier of the two to run on by a half

a yard, and they're going to add a lot more to that right here with another big run. Six of our ten voters went rams four are taking Tampa Bay. The Indianapolis Colts are in desperation mode as they head to New England. They take on a Patriots club that maybe last in their division, but they're back to Jerry seinfeld Land even Steven Rush's coming Wilson interceptor picked up
by Bentley. New England comes in off another good defensive performance, but it's their defensive blind spot the Colts should theoretically try and exploit. They have Jonathan Taylor seventy yards four point eight per carry last week, we know how good jt is. Are the Colts desperate enough to go spinal tap amp with him. Turn the Taylor volume knob up to eleven ten carries. First game back from injury sixteen last week, They're ready to go like twenty five with
him this week. Here's tailor breaking Tree pick up a twenty seven. Patriots did play the run well versus the Jets, but they have not handled the run well in two four point eight per run allowed. Here's fields now trying to answer gets a block out on the edge. Yeah, really good job, New England. They didn't contain. The Patriots
want to force Indie to throw. Their defense is coming off a three I n T game held Zack Wilson to a sub seventy rating, one of a few teams holding qbs to a sub eight rating at the semi halfway point of the season. Wilson flicks at that field that it's intercepted, picked off once again. Marccarny. Patriots take on another young QB in this one. Saml Linger made his first NFL start in Week eight. Completion rate over seventy yards per attempt, high eights rating over a hundred.
He held his own wan'll sit down the sidline over the shoulder grab by nine. He hides tremendous throw here from Sam Ellinger. Receivers of choice weren't any different for Ellinger. Pass dbs need to try and contain Alec Pierce fifty three yard per game type of guy. More importantly, Michael Pittman, Colts target leader seventy five yards per game in two now will play action pass good strike and once again
pitt that well he had picked that or fired. I get an early rapport here at the opening quarter at the red flag. Pittman fifty three yards last week, two weeks in a row under his average. Now New England's offense balanced approach. They've been most efficient when they hand to Ramandre Stephenson Week eight, seventy one yards four point four a run, averaging four point nine to carry in two handling the contact of them ranking A. Where is Stevenson a thirty five yard rip? He will have a
tough time against the Colts. They are top five in yards per carry allowed just four per attempt three point four allowed last week against the Commanders. But they're gonna go back to Gipson and Gibson. It's a yard maybe two, and so if they forced the action to the passing game, I guess it's mac Jones seventy three point one rating
for the year. That's not good. Week eight under two hundred yards passing five point five on average per throw rating under eighty got built out on what appeared to be a pick six and he is god touchdown first of the fall ruffle the pass their d fifth number ninety one in week eight, Jones was mostly tossing to Stevenson out of the backfield. Eight targets, seven catches. Jones, let's it go and it's caught. Big game on the crap by Stephenson. But his go to is Jacoby Myers.
Twelve targets last week, nine receptions and a TV open catch made. Myers is in touchdown New England. That six point seven yards per catch is a little troubling. Hard to say how often Stefon Gilmore matches up against Myers based on how he moves around in the formation. Gilmore got beat last week for what was the game winner, basically covering Terry McLaurin, so not coming off his best
outing coult skills against the past. Like my grades in college below average Taylor Heineken made that clutch throw against them average nine yards per attempt, put up a rating close to a hundred. Tide key well, but the middle of that ball is caught on the year in New England's qubs haven't faced a lot of pressure, but Jones was sacked six times against the Jets. Protection holds up altalup straight. He got hit on the play in New England. Chumps on it Colts pass rush Unikenkway has four sacks
DeForrest Buckner picking up kiss for up. In week eight, the Coults not dominant applying heat, but those two guys are threats and dragged out the forest fucker who has just been playing sensational Jones versus Ellinger. Maybe it could evolve into Manning versus Brady. I could also start sounding like Morgan Freeman. They don't kill my dream. No one buys Mr Ellinger. On our ten person prediction panel, all ten went with the Pats. I apologize to Raider Nation
for for that performance. The Raiders have not crossed mid field today and stunning, absolutely stunning the Las Vegas Raiders limp over to Duval this week, as this embarrassing the Jacksonville Jaguars back from their European vacation went as well as the movie. First out of ten Lawrence throwing Williams pick Well a minute for Day six left a couple to win teams in this one based on how their
qbs looked last week. Maybe both offenses should hit the pavement, have a lotortunity to go win the game, and you don't get a dome. That's really, really disappointing. Let's start with a positive question for Jacks fans, James who no real question for the team. How do you utilize a dude like Travis e t N to win games? I mean,
¶ LV v JAX
don't get me twisted or get twisted, That's what Rihanna would say. I think e t N is the key reason they have been so close so often lately. To e t N. It turns the carters us a hundred and fifty six yards last week, six point five per run, a touchdown, his stock, his game soaring right now and
off to ETN. A little bit of running room thirty thirty five yard line along the left side last days about give the broncost Terry party four yard line It's side to start yard line and exposed drawn once again for Travis t e t N versus the DIA blow. We all have our demons to face right. Seventy three tackles, thirty five stops. Those are successful tackles for the defense. Those are divine numbers. Raiders held Alvin Camarada three point four yards per carry season figure four point one. So
there are plenty solid test for teos. The snap hands it off to camera, drilled in the backfield, flip the script, Josh Jacob's turn. Now Jack's trying to stop a five point six per run. Guy hands it off. The Jacobs curse through the middle, touch back at the five stops. Jacob's monster three games streak ended in Week eight only got ten carries, though now he gets a two headed linebacking tackle monster. Devin Lloyd has sixty nine of them. Gronk would approve what he loves Brian Adams tunes I
think for you. Loa Kwan seventy nine leads the league when it comes to those stop kind of tackles. Those two a big reason the Jaguars are holding dudes to four a carry. You're Sanders on the ground. Terrific tackle by Ola Kunny. So the run game on both sides in a strength versus strength situation puts pressure on someone's QB to play better than they did in Week eight, Jaguars get a car that ran as well as my beater?
Or can were you against the Saints? A Saints team without Marshawn Lattimore, By the way, can you call any game at any level where you're up at nemcross field? Derek a hundred and one yards a pick fifty point three rating three point nine yards per attempt three point nine Yeah, I guess it was embarrassing. So why did Jacobs only get ten carries? Again takes the staf doestop given to Jacobs looking for the quick Pard does brow
that should be intercepted. Davante Adams all worldwide receiver. Hopefully he was still sick last week because he had a sick performance and not the cool kind. Five targets, only one patch three yards lots one near sideline for Adams can grow out the ball at the Saints starting Mr Hand would not have been pleased with their performance or Trevor Lawrence's Vegas defense getting a guy who wants to forget about week eight just as bad as car does.
I gotta look in the mirror, Um, I gotta pay better. Only a hundred and thirty three yards to I n t s four point three per throw, same deal. Better to hand it off if that's all you're gonna average, But that ball is going to be fixed. All they had a first and poll it's a one yard line. It's firstly all prow that into the second level. Lawrence was facing a tough secondary last week. Raiders play against
the past. Not as tough neither this season a rating allowed over a hundred or last week versus Dalton two, t d S no I and t S rating near one twenty ft takes the snap walking laptops it over the middle of camarolne open thirty to fifty ten less speed angling towards the Enzo touts down Tambaro. There was nobody in the in the picture Bravel Camary. He had a running start into the end zone. Randall Pink Floyd, Lawrence just needs to avoid the silver and black Adam.
Go see the movie if you want, but don't throw at cornerback Rock. You've seen he's still bawling. Hasn't been his fault. What is car up against the Jaguars? Not bad against the past? In two not always perfect, sort of like last week held Russell will into an eight four point three rating, same as what they've held QBS two for the season. Russ comes out firing on first time in town and nearly intercepted on the very first throw.
Darius Williams. Cornerbacks Darius Williams and Tyson Campbell both playing well. There's just some of those moments with their secondary the splash plays gave up eight point four yards per attempt to Russ for example. That's your numerical rep for that issue. Here's Russell Wilson to throw deep shot right sat. It's k J. Hamler working on Trey Herndon nine pass rush
car faces. Jack's got three sacks last week out taken down by Tree Von Walker didn't apply a lot of pressure, though they've been sort of average in two when it comes to heating qubs up and planting them. Car has faced a Homer Simpson waistline of pressure though thirty four percent allowed. Sacked three times last week hit nine is that why? Actually that Jacob settles in looks doubt field pressure from behind, sacked by Turner. Lawrence hasn't faced as
much pressure, but isn't good either. That could spell trouble this week. Raiders pass rush is fresh. They took last week off. I assume they did. I mean no one even hit Dalton once in a week. Game play actually for Dalton is looking to throw plenty of time. Best started the near side and that is complete at the trum pod stack out of bounce on the near shopic.
That's the s see so eight of our pickers picked Vegas two went Jags, one of them our leader, though for what it's worth, NFL dot com writer Eric heat Holme. The Arizona Cardinals are at home this week. It's an hour never game for them as they take on the first place Seahawks. Geno Smith and company almost ready to shed that fluky start label. Walker is his way. So much for those fear Seahawks fans had coming into the season that without Russell Wilson they didn't stand a chance.
Gino has been way better than expected. The Cardinals are lining up against a quarterback completing over seventy of his passes. That's the highest in the NFL. Thirteen T D S, three I N T S throws are third and long. The DK Metcalf He's got the first stut. If Smith, Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf and company can get on the same page, watch out. Lockett had some uncharacteristic moments against the Giants. A drop in the red zone his first drop in the last seventeen games. He made up for it.
¶ SEA v ARI
He and d K both scored and we gave lock it on the sideline in for the Touchstown Smith looking back of the insong, DK Metcalf touchdown Seattle or the Cardinals corners up to the task. They're coming off a game where they gave up a plus one D rating the Kirk Cousins. They didn't sparkle against him, haven't sparkled against most QB snuzzles touchdown. Then there's the Hawks rushing attack. Seattle gets a Zona defense that just gave up a hundred and seventy three yards to Dalvin Cook and company.
How do we create space right? How do we gash and separate a deep at Jenneth Walker? The third finally came back down to earth and week, but he's still averaging about five and a half yards a toe five t d s Walker be able to reverse his field Walker inside the tap doors. On the cardinal side of things, offensively, everybody knows what Kyler Murray brings to the table and how important it is to get DeAndre Hopkins involved. Unfortunately
for the Cardinals, slow starts have killed the team. They only had three points until late in the first half against Minnesota's job by Eric Kendricks. It's just like recognizing what our offenses trying to do to your jumping out early could be the key against Seattle some of that might involve protecting Murray better. Nineteen sacks taken for him. How are we gonna califol You see about Billy Price
right there just making that move. Perhaps it's more telling he's been taken down that many times despite an evasiveness and running ability that has him leading the team in rushing yards and average. That's what he is so dangerous, He's just so hard at the table. Let's all agree not to focus too much on his six fumbles though, or those six picks he's thrown deep robby Anderson Ray shot. Should there are some smudge Perhaps getting on the same
page with Hopkins early will help. Twelve receptions on thirteen targets last week and then same touchdown catch that quieted the Crow. Or should this be a get right game against the twenty seven ranked Seattle defense. They've been especially vulnerable to the run, but really nothing to write home about in pass coverage either. Now the Biddle kind of tell the sabe those are dangerous throws at Danny Doves.
That's no problem cutting that big ruth. Where they do excel as getting after the quarterback, which, as we mentioned before, is a weakness for the Cardinals. Fresh shirt cobbing shows a sack split jury on this game. We have six Seattle believers. Four on the picks panel went with Zona. Week nine, the Vikings travel to Washington to play the Commanders. Writing a five game winning street hubble the punts half
a football. Is this Minnesota's game to lose? Or willow Washington team seemingly back from the dead spoil Minnesota's trap Taylor Heimaki had a quarterback sneake just tied the game at sixteen. All that that Washington to go ahead with the extra poy. The Vikings have definitely been the more impressive team of the two this season. It's not that they're necessarily tops in the league in any one category. Rather, they're doing what they need to win week after week.
They're only lost so far as to the undefeated Eagles, and they're coming off a solid home win against Arizona, which saw the Vikes pick up three turnovers in the second half alone. Deep robber ladders of rashod smoke hand
¶ MIN v WAS
on the final drive of the game they got after Kyler Murray, something they're good at. Back to back sacks kept the Cardinals from mounting a serious challenge. Typically with the Vikings. They're only going as far as Kirk Cousin's arm can take them or his legs. Apparently it's already run for a first one until he run for another one. Touched up. Cousins passing numbers are down statistically in two,
but the team's win total is up. Whether that's better game management, a better culture fit in the locker room, whatever Vikings fans will take as well. Protected here Justine jack saw that's Cousins faces a Washington defense that knows how to get after the comune tenth in the league in sacks, one of the highest pressure rates in the game. Get in trouble and he's going down. He lost the ball. That pressure hasn't led to many turnovers, though only two
interceptions on the year. Washington gave up a plus one hundred rating of Sam Eleanor, making his first ever start, fourteen t d passes allowed on the season, yards per catch allowed over twelve hell girl plus sit down the sideline over the shoulder grab by nine he hid. Cousins hopes to have a healthy Adam feeling at his disposal. Sunday,
the Whiteout picked up a knee injury against Arizona. The Post game reviews looked promising his presence on the field helps things open up for kid Dino might justin Jefferson, who's hauling in fifteen yards per catch and has the third most receiving yards in the league so far. Look at this, Look at him, high point that football, that concentration, and then get some extra yards after the catch. Of course, Washington's defense might have its hands full already trying to
contain Dalvin Cook. He hit the Cardinals for over a hundred and ten yards on twenty carries, averaging more than five apop per carry, notching a touchdown as well. It's the footballs touchdown. The Commanders are sixth in the league at keeping opposing acts out of the end zone, so we'll see if Cook is able to repeat last week's feet this week. We're noting Washington's defense has allowed one point or fewer in their last three weeks up the medal.
First out at Mark Teller losst it another lost fuble for the Colt said, Washington recovers it. Washington's offense, on the other hand, is experiencing a bit of a resurgence as well. Under Taylor Heineke. He's won both as starts since taking over at QB Washington on a three game win streak. Now kind of key dumps it off, gets it,
he's got the quarter, he's got the touchdown. Heineck's last outing a win versus the Colts twenty three of thirty one, close to two eighty yards and almost a seventy five percent completion rate. Pitch and catch the Baclorada mclorin gets it out to the forty eight yard loss. He's getting plenty of help from Terry McLaurin, who hauled in a huge catch to help seal the victory, part of a
six catch under in a thirteen yard day. McLaurin showing he's worth every penny of that sixty eight million dollar deal he's signed this past sounding. A second start of the season, and there's mcclora dava side blood. Welcome back to Indian athletes. Terry mcclora. McLaurin will face off with Patrick Peterson alot this week. He did give up a t d in week eight, also knocked down three passes and is having a stellar year and then just gets
his hand up there. That is twelve years of doing it as well as anybody as the rest of the Vikings past defense is a mixed back sort of like how they played Tyler Murray picked him off a couple of times, also gave up over three hundred yards and three g ds stretch us He's gonna go into the zode the I'm not gonna be a cardinal touched making things tougher on the Heineken. Minnesota's pass rush is legit. Like I mentioned earlier, Sa Darius Smith rang up a
sack trip versus Arizona. Ch Is picked up The Vikings turnover margin is an area they excel in plus six on the season with seven I n T s and six fumble coverage. We have a lone believer in the Heineken Marcus Grant. Other nine pickers on the panel went Minnesota. The Chicago Bears are at home this week after a disappointing Week eight. Now they have to be ready to take on a high flying aerial attack. The Miami Dolphins are in town. Chicago Secondary is on center stage this week.
They have to figure out how to stop a circus happens to have three rings to the ring master to a tongue of LA nine of thirty six. Last week over three d and eighty yards, three touchdowns, rating close to one forty. Sure, he faced the Lions, their secondary pretty much second to everyone, but he tamed him and to has a rating over one twelve and nine yards per attempt average. I'm humble. I'll count myself as a
preseason doubter. Who can eat oh when it comes to two a time, the main event the Bears have to
¶ MIA v CHI
worry about. No bearded ladies here man week ate everything. The Miami passing attack is about kat who has proved he isn't anyone's. Robin Tyree Hill came up twelve yards short of two bills against the Lions. Fits the two. He's had all those picks worth it another by Hill, Oh fine, says the Bears will double him. Cool two, It turns to Robin Lloyd Taylor. Sorry, he turns to
Jalen Waddle. The connection both underrated. The NFL Penguin having a great two as well, great week eight to eight catches over a hundred yards, got to Waddle twice looking deep. He's got back touchdown number two for Wattle. So the Bears got to have two good cornerbacks along with someone else to back them up. They do in a way. Cornerbacks Kindle Vildor Kyler Gordon holding QB's to Sube ratings. Safety Jakwan Brisker has a forty two point three rating against.
In turn, they have held wide receivers, specifically to a seventy six point to rating in that's really good. So what happened last week then against Dak Prescott nine point three in attempt given up rating over one ten allowed Ceedee Lamb to catch five of his seven targets a touchdown fifteen point four yards per catch given up to him. They are dissecting this secondary alright. The Bears offense will try and pop the Fins along the ground. Their ground
game is their bread and butter. Win or lose straight up the gut and in to the younger zone front touchdown forty three Russhi attempts last week. You don't see that very often in a game that you give up forty nine points in. They're gonna unleash a two headed running back attack on Miami Khalil Khalisle bass singer, bass singer, last name Herbert Anyway nine nine yards last week, six point to a run. He's been much more explosive than David Montgomery. Well, that's a big run by The bigger
challenge Miami's defense faces is justin fields. The runner over fifty yards a game this season, hitting at five point six a run seven point five versus the Cowboys. It's not so much the planned runs with him, it's the unplanned ones that get their offense going bilds. Using those legs, we out leverages the defense so quickly you can go a lot of directions from here. As you look at how the Dolphins have played the run. Does anyone know
what the Dolphins have held runners to overall this season? Anyone? Four point two yards per carry? That's acceptable? Does anyone know what Miami has held running backs to? Anyone? Anyone? Three point eight yards per carry allowed to running backs? So Herbert is going to be challenged. I'll stop and then say that they have given up five point six
yards per carry two quarterbacks. It's gonna guess Mr Laurence Sacks would say that figure is as high as it is because when they faced Lamar Jackson, he broke a seventy nine yard t D run against them, along with a hundred and sixteen yards on the ground. It's Jackson all that here he goes Ferris for those who are like, wtf is Mr Lawrence Sacks. So the rest of the picture, Dolphins have a nice run game where he moster it with a nice four point five yard per carry figure.
He just tends to ride in the backseat. You see what Chicago allowed Tony Pollard to do in week eight hundred and thirty one yards nine point four yards per carry, allowed three touchdowns. And that's why we have ants. I mean, that's why Chicago is allowing five yards per carry for the year. And now they don't have ro Kwan Smith either.
Welcome to the big Toy Polar Star touchdown of the Dolphins passed defense, Chicago's pass offense, big time X factor Fields didn't do anything terribly wrong as a passer against the Cowboys, two touchdowns, no picks, rating of one twenty. Their path seen game is secondary. He provided what they needed. They'd welcome a repeat performance from his arm kill Harry back of the scoring book, and hey, he has a new target. Are to say how many reps Chase Claypool
will get this week? Averaging under forty yards per game this season. For what it's worth, Dolphins against the past QB is complete almost se throws against them, rating given up an even c note Jared Goff got him for over three hundred yards, rating close to one ten to slip. Dolphins pass rush has a better chance to disrupt things, especially now that they traded Denver for Bradley Chubb. Five and a half sacks in two for that guy, Crass, you're off the edge. Jan Smith is sack by Bradley Chubb.
Bears haven't applied a ton of pressure on qbs this season. Don't have Robert Quinn now either. Fields he knows the grass as well as Cheech and Chong. Different kind for all you old timers. Fields took four more sacks against the cow Boys, just adding to their le high takedown figure. First chasing Fields, it's another one. No shock here. Nine Miami picks one for the Bears Adam Rank, so it kind of doesn't count. The Los Angeles Chargers are on the road after a week off off to Atlanta to
face the first place Falcons. The South is starting to feel real dirt. Please check we've got this matchup hits two teams with polar opposite approaches to moving the ball. The Chargers led the NFL and pass attempts when they hit their by pressure coming as Herbert gets rid of it to Eckler up the sidelt first out of much more the Falcons. They're all about one of their city's iconic artists most famous songs. It was something like, ma'am, can you please move over so I can get by
in my vehicle. Atlanta loves to toke the rock. The run past split this season is why does Nicki Minajes bank account figure? I assume it's pretty y. I'll check it down a towel chair, powerfuls first down, making this
¶ LAC v ATL
matchup even more intrigue. Each team's offensive preference is the other team's biggest defensive weakness. Atlanta's defense is allowed more passing yards per game than any team in the NFL. Pick any pass d metric. Not pretty. We're down at four walker complete. Chargers defense no better when it comes to stopping runners, allowing five point seven yards per carry. Five runs allowed of forty plus yards. Four of those went for fifty plus. It's the edge walker down the sideline.
He's got the speed seventy four yards. Atlanta's offense last week thirty seven more rush attempts a hundred and sixty seven yards four point five a carry Chargers get a three headed attack at minimum the first time all the way out to Mitchfield. Caleb Hotley how cheer first out, he picks up the Fallton's first down and Mariota just gives you the meanest too. Took him right out of his cleats for that one. It could be a foreheaded
monster if Cordarrel Patterson returns. Speaking of guys who've been hurt, back to l A's advantage, this has to be the week Keenan Allen comes back right. His absence has thrown everything off, along with some O line injuries, but he seems to be the key six and a good throw
to find Keenan Allen. Boy, how much has Justin Herbert missed Keenan Allen now Alan Justin Herbert has looked more like Chinese Democracy guns and roses less like Appetite gen r. It's not that he hasn't had other bandmates to work with. T D Die and T Ratio has healthy enough average is close to two game on the role, finds theo A carter and just couldn't stay in bounds, but it ain't the same and less excellent slash or out there together.
Biggest proof Austin Ekeler. He's supposed to be a great safety galve, but he's not supposed to be the most targeted player on the team. Side arms sling and it's a touchdown ust to the Heckler. Herbert, in turn, is only averaging six point five yards per attempt. That's the number that really sticks out with him almost a full yard less than last year. Chargers passing offense one of
the least explosive. They are one of a handful of teams averaging less than ten yards per cash and they get to Herbert slips away twice said he's able to unload it to Eckler, And of course, now that Alan is finally back, Mike Williams is out. Does that matter against Atlanta's secondary? Rough season for them? Rough last week?
Even though they won, they gave up three hundred and seventeen yards to p J Walker and what should have been the game winning bomb, and they both let the best player for the Panthers get behind them for sixty two yard touched out. It was Marcus Mariotta's birthday, though, and d J. Moore forgot to bring him a present, so he made sure Marcus could see his face to say happy birthday. That's all play was over. Unsportsman led conduct offense number two for removing against helmet. Mariota is
one of several X factor matchups in this game. Falcon's passing attack against l a secondary. As we mentioned, Mariota hasn't thrown a lot this year, but last week pass attempts and he did some good things with on nine yards per attempt, three t ds over a hundred grade hands like fake echall touchdown, Kyle Pits, You're like, so nothing about the two picks one a horrible throw that should have cost them the game a second time. No, it was his birthday. Man secondary. He's squaring off with
Chargers fall directly into the category on past defense. Only thing that sticks out. Given up thirteen touchdowns a little snoopish, but picked off seven balls in seven games in the traffic deflipted it and accepted cannot fri with a pick. One reason Atlanta hasn't grown much o line Mariota has fa It's a thirty four point five percent pressure rate over thirty is no bueno. Chargers pass rush twenty eight percent pressure rate good not great because They've had Khalil Mack,
but no Joey Bolson. This is the s bridge in the backfield. The fumbles of its Rick covered by Kalio Mack. Chargers O line injuries have led to a thirty plus pressure rate on Herbert, so that's an opening for the Falcons, except they haven't racked up many sacks in two just one QB takedown in Week eight only one QB hit as Walker fires to the outside. It's four once again, Chargers run game versus Falcons run defense. Eckler on the ground is always an unknown averages four point five a game,
but he's only taking twelve topes per content first and goal. Eckler, with an opening on the left side ak one l j over for the Touchstown Atlanta struggled versus the Panthers run game in week eight four point seven to carry, hundred and sixty nine yards allowed, three t das four point four allowed for the season. For the twelve years tourment for and saw the five star to the at
Song touchdown. The ratings of this game in Eugene, Oregon this week through the roof, they're putting down their protests signs breaking out some tracktown pizza, maybe packing a bull at Jung's and enjoying some Mariota Herbert action. Eight voters for a Chargers win, NFL dot Com writer Mark Sessler, and NFL media queen Colleen Wolf taking the Dirty South. The Detroit Lions look to snap their five game losing streak this week. They play the green Bay Packers, trying
to break a four game skit of their own. Something's gotta give right Skantic throws and to click the pocket collapsed around him and green Bay will turn it over on down. The Packers they have the better past defense, the Lions. They have the better passing offense. Kind of shocking right. Detroit's past defense so bad they fired their secondary coach. Green Bay's passing attack not blowing the doors
off anyh that's deflective. I mean you'reccepti by Mato. So who has the advantage in that big mess cheesehead aerial attack or Detroit secondary Aaron Rodgers is up against a group that's allowed a one hundred eight point five rating Last week. They got lit up like Clark Riswald's tree after that cat bit. The cord almost se passes they see make their way to the intended target over eight yards per attempt given up, and it's Rogers. He has
solid stats. He's not used to solid stats. The stat that sticks out for him is his six point six yards per attempt figure. Lions aren't taking on a very explosive passing attack. Rogers, dogs do feel dogs can't bring it down. The other way around. You've got Jared Goff trying to dice up the pack. Secondary thirty seven last week three twenty one yard yards, close to nine yards
per attempt, rating near one ten. He's averaging two D seventy passing yards per game, has twelve t D passes on the season of golf to swift Stop isn't taking on a dominant pass defense by any means, but Green Bay is one of the few to handle. Josh Allen picked him off twice, held him to a sub eight rating.

Rocket out of the pockets key battle a Monra st Brown versus Jayir Alexander. Alexander's rating allowed still under seven homes, which is somebody uncover about throws that what looks like it's checked off. St Brown leads the team and targets, averages close to sixty yards per game and makes plenty of incentive to run for both teams. Neither team has been able to stop the run this season, both sitting
near the five yards per carry aloud mark. Each team has a good pair of running backs to hit the other way. The Dylan and Jones law firm was in fine form in a Week eight Aaron blowing up for a hundred and forty three yards twenty Carey's seven point two per run. He's averaging almost six a carry for the season. Harry chers through the secondary. Detroit can go with the Andre Swift and Hinkle mccringleberry. The Packers remember
their old buddy Jamal Williams. Two more tds for him last week, has eight now on the season, nice four point six per run average. Don't see the Lions get picked to win against the Green Bay Packers very often. Three on the prediction panel, though, going with Detroit the other seven green Bay. The Carolina Panthers hit the road. They're off to Cincinnati to play a Bengal squad having to figure out how to win without its star receiver. Right when it looked like the Bengals had it going,
the wheels fell off. Panthers secondary squaring off with a dazed and confused Joe Burrow. His Week eight stat line may not look like trash, but he padded his numbers in garbage time when the game mattered. Burrow is getting sacked left and right, failing on third down, got picked off first down. I was to Burrow still won't have Jamar Chase this week, but it's not like he's working
with Turk and Dorian. He just has to connect with Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins earlier in the game this time around and touchdown Tyler Boyd girl protect that gets hit a bit Higgins want to catch wow touchdown Cincinnati. Which version of the Carolina past defense shows up for this one? The one that gave up three touchdowns and a rating over a hundred, DeMarcus Mariotta and he Gate like fake Etshall touchdown Kyles or the one that's held
QBS to a sub ninety rating in two sports. A cornerback j C. Horne who's holding signal callers to a forty point five rating. This is jac Horn. All the Panthers picking off Bengals offense is susceptible to handing out bags even when it's not Halloween. Burrow sacked five times last week. Thirty times for the year, second most in the NFL, and what a night for this defense and the defensive front for the Cleveland Grounds. He will face
a blitz heavy pass rush this week. Panthers have sent an extra body to hunt the qub over thirty three percent of the time, plus is a lot will that lead to sacks, though only Panther to make it home with regularity has been Brian Burns. He's finished the deal

five times and now Brandy under pressure and he's brought down back at the twenty seven yard line by Priyan burn Let's look at the other side of things now. Cincinnati's defense is dealing with a p J Walker, who should be two and oh on the year, dropped that dot in Week eight that should have won them the game, and they both let the best player for the Panthers get behind them for sixty two yard touchdown. D J Moore, a red foreman, would like to see you more in
Week eight old school goat material. Still, he will draw the most attention from the Bengals secondary led the team in targets in Week gate with eleven hundred and fifty two yards. Six catchets catch banked by d J Moore. Bengals against Cleveland's top receiver last week. Gave up a hundred and thirty one yards to a Marie Cooper. Let's get what's up? All that's up? Stop making matters worse. Cheeto Ooozier was having a great season. He was carted
off last week. Bengals rush defense also on the spot. They've allowed four point four yard per carry on the season. Gave up four point for to Nick Chubb, two scores over a hundred yards. Offensive lines been getting it done all night, pretty much good night. Now they try and stop beyonte Foreman. He blew up in week eight t d hat trick four point five a run a hundred and eighteen yards thick. He saw the five star go to the epsong touchdown. All ten of our predictors predicted
Cincinnati winning last week. All of them were wrong, but they're letting it ride. All ten for the Bengals. No one buying into PJ. The Jets are at home for week nine. They welcome in inter division rival Buffalo. The Bill's passing attack ready to give New York secondary the ultimate test. Second quarter begin second of one, the ballet shot to the intern touchdown d by Stefan takes what a matchup this could be? When Buffalo has the ball, no passing attack is averaging more yards per game than
the Bills and turned. Then the Jets are facing the quarterback averaging more passing yards per game, and Mr Josh Allen sets on the right all toss and slider's cloak to the tent, take it down at the six yard low. Allen had a subpar week eight through two picks rating under eighty, still won the game. Still through two t d s, still averaged over eight yards per attempt. He's got the second most TV passes in the NFL pos Once Jack's gonna keep it himself Now he fires into
the income, touchdown dots and knots touchdown. Buffalo Bill's passing game flows through number fourteen. Stefon, can you digs it over a hundred yards and a touchdown against the Packers. Seven scores overall now averages close to a hundred and ten yards a game. It's a let's go down fire for Dicks. Dick to yard digs will have to escape two different elite corners. Jets can pour some sauce on him.
Gardner holding QB's to a sixty three point eight rating, twelve passes defense that's tied for the most in the NFL. Jets crowd the line, wid the super screen called by Cha Kobe Myers, and one on one tackle made by Sauce Gardner RADI anticipation by a young player that's gonna be in this league for a long time. When Gardner isn't on him, it'll be d J read holding signal callers to a sub sixty ratings. Six passes defense, Jets secondary as a whole, leading the way to some pretty

slick stats against quarterbacks. In two back Jones back to thront slant left, broke it up. D J Red got a hand in and knocked it down. To increase their odds of slowing the Alan Diggs Express, New York needs to bother Alan in the backfield without letting him take off. They picked up a sack six pack versus the Patriots. They have a plus thirty pressure rate on the season. Cross that thirty line and you're talking serious heat. It's back to the thront. What's over the pedals? Under pressure?
The ballot sound, he's head that a scrabble for it. New England's got it. Jets pass rush by the way the latest to leave Randy Marsh screaming at the TV. And instead of helmets, they should wear little tinfoil hats because you know, it's the future and we shouldn't be so barbaric. Anyway, New York won't have an easy time
getting to Alan. Only eleven sacks taken on the season, pressure rate faced low twenties, makes the handoff gonna throw it looks downfield, looks downfield, fires downfield, look at portets inside the five died for it's the tests and it's got tucks down puff at all. Bill's run game isn't prominent, but last week is a good example of how they
like to use it. Alan and Devin Singletary both averaging over forty yards rushing a game, both over four and a half a carry, slut three straight running plays its Singletary reels off another big one into the secondary good qut Singletary all the way to the fifteen yard line.
The Jets have been elite across the defensive board, though still holding runners under four yards per run and dog parents spread ahead and run and he's hitting propped behind a lot of scripts and Quinsty Williams let's tackle for loss. Jets defense seems to have pressure to keep the score low. Their own offense is rough. Buffalo's defense as good as New York's. Zach Wilson faces a dominant secondary Rodgers back to throw and his pants is broken up. Pants broken
up by Dave Jackson. Wilson has to try and complete passes with Greg Russo and Von Miller chasing him around. Eleven sacks between those two mahomes. At that time comes Moller to bring it down back at the twenty one yard line, the second sack of the game. And the Bills have been successful enough against runners four point one yards per carry allowed for the year, though they did
get gashed by the Packers last week. Two eight yards on the ground, gave up six point seven a run to the Cheese, hands it off to his sail back Errand Jones. Jones has a big hole right side, breaks a couple of tackles across the parting and finally brought down coming to the game. Number one in the NFL and US rush yards given up per game, and that's not the case tonight. This is where the Jets run game should come in. James Robinson only five carries last week.
He should see more now that he has time to learn the playbook and he has the potential to make an impact and Aunt Robinson runs left, leuts it back to the right. Got a good game, Ken Wilson make an impact against that secondary. He is coming in off a two TV three hundred and fifty five yard outing. That's a career high. Wilson out of the pocket, buying time. We'll take a deep shot separation and the catchmate by Carrot Wilson and the Jets with a fifty four yard
hook up. Wilson also threw three I N T s. There was one of them that had you wondering, is this Flacco time throw down? Sister's got another throw ups like that? Ridiculous, inexcusable for Zac Wilson, Red white and blue chalk for this one. Robert Sala has a chance to collect a lot of receipts. Ten bills votes zero for the Jets. The Baltimore Ravens head south after slaying a goat for Halloween, Brady goes down again. The New Orleans Saints know a little something about flexing the d
muscles as well. Hard runs into his own blocker and then has brought on but on. Both these teams must have had wet leg playing in their earbuds before their games last week. Both had plenty of big d to go around in week eight degrees won't get them anywhere this week, though, Each team needs its run defense to step up because each team's offense tends to start on the ground. I'd say in non traditional ways, but run games are run games these days. This isn't Emmett Smith
football anymore. So the Saints have to worry about a QB led rush attack. Lamar Jackson week eight forty three yards nine carries, popping it for close to seven point five for the season, and he's still able to get underneath. I mean, this is why we all marble and what Lamar Jackson can do. Saints defenders have to decide follow him or follow the running back. Gus Edwards five point
nine a run last week. Kenyan Drake eight point nine a round had a lot more to that right here this side of the thirties nine lines great finally tackled by Edwards. Saints linebacker Pete Werner. What do you got? He's a beast. Only one guy has more stops in the NF al than he does. Benjamin is the beast, not for Lord. The werner right there stops by the way equals tackles considered a defensive success. He's as good as Peter Gibbons girlfriend's hypnotist. He's really good. That's not mad.
He's busted up a little help fellas New Orleans defense allowing four point five a run overall. Murray rolls the dice on third down and long and gets good blocking up front against the light box to get the first

app Who Dad is like? Okay, but how about the other way around? Alvin and the Chipmunk singular. Baltimore's defense also faces a supposed non traditional challenge in Camara and Hill. Tasom ten carries last week sixty one yard. It's hill looking for a block from Vnet. He's got the first doll and Camara with the vision and hops to the side, continuing his good day. Ravens against the run facing Tampa Bay. Almost doesn't count held them under three yards per care
body of work. More like Fred Flintstone, four point four yards were carry allowed. They can stand to layoff some of those dining rooms. He's gonna run up heart touchdown if only Baltimore had an elite middle linebacker, maybe someone like leading the NFL and tackles like Roquan Smith. Yeah, plug him in and see what happens. Saints and Ravens aren't all ground in pound all day every day. It just leads the way. Each QB comes in off a
nice outing. Each one focuses on someone other than a wide receiver Andy Dalton nine touchdowns, four I n T s on the season, point one rating. Last week versus Vegas put up a rating close to one. Twenty two touchdowns, no picks. It's coms touchdown. Ravens have to be able to cover Kimara in the passing game ten targets last week, nine catches ninety six yards, two scores. Let's Comara with rooms a room thore, he goes, he plays the tackle coming in to them scores for the third time today,
Baltimore has played running backs as past catchers well. Rating allowed to running backs ninety point eight in two plenty. Respectable linebacker Patrick Queen has played a big role in that has a rating against of eighty one point nine with an I n T. Baltimore hasn't allowed a touchdown to a running back this season second and fifteen by Will's chubb up there Redwill on the play by Geno
Stone past defense. Overall, Dalton Faces did what it needed to do versus Brady, held him to a sub ninety rating, holding QBS to a ninety point one rating. Overall, Marlon Humphrey could make things real tough on Crystal lava and ITT's put that left hand up because he gets separation there from Humphrey. But get credit credit to Humphrey for catching up New Orleans offense on third down. Baltimore's defense on third game, that's a big deal. Saints were seven
for two well moving the sticks last week. Raven's help or a nine of thirteen third downs versus Tampa nicely Brady, though can't find anybody open it down. He goes again. Saints secondary gets a Jackson coming in off a nice arm game Jackson twenty seven of thirty nine last week to t d S no I and t S rating over a hundred and getting it out of his hands quickly over O'Connor prepared to make that throw and instantly gets it out there. His receiver of choice appears to
be a tight end no matter who it is. Mark Andrews left last week's game hurt five targets, three receptions thirty three yards before departing. Baltimore tight end Isaiah Likely comes in ends the night with seven targets, six catches, seventy seven yards. Accident he does so often he's able to escape, then picks up a first down up to the twenty nine yard linement. Sta Lightly Saints defense couldn't have played the past better. In Week eight, they didn't
even have Marshawn Lattimore. They had a Lante Taylor. He lined up against Davante Adams fifty percent of snaps last week. Adams three yards one catch. Saints clamped him, and they clamped Derek Carr to only a hundred and one yards no t d s and I n T three point nine yards per a ten more. Then it's defective that
unaccepted and grabbed by Tyland Matthews. Since Lamar loves tight ends, what about their past defense against that position, holding them to a paltry sixty one point one rating no touchdowns. It's not the same when the QB is doing Lamar things, but still there they come up the lintally dumps it off. He got it to the title, but they're gonna lose a couple on the clay. Last note, Ravens need to chill on the yellow. Versus Tampa Bay a hundred and one yards and penalties. Got a bunch of picks for
the Ravens. For you, I would maybe go the Saints, but I'm not on the ten person picks panel. They all chose Baltimore. NFL Game Debut is a production of the NFL in partnership with I Heart Radio.
