Speaker 1

NFL Game Deview is a production of the NFL in partnership with iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2

This is NFL Game Previews, and I'm game preview guy here with in depth primers on every single game that's going to be played this week. Philadelphia Eagles five and one on the year at home for Sunday Night Football, taking on a fellow five and one are in the Miami Dolphins, who held up their side of the bargain and making this game feel like a potential Super Bowl preview.

Speaker 3

Hi, we don't. He's never one of us. I'm not a whole plan out of it.

Speaker 2

If you're filming Miami celebrity status growing to Axel Rose levels, I guess they started way later than they were supposed to last week, but once they hit the stage, ripped it up real.

Speaker 4

Goodnatown Oly smoked them.

Speaker 2

And unlike Axel Tyreek wants you to take pictures of him. He'll even take them for you.

Speaker 5

Well, he went out and found that guy in particular, guy he wanted to run and get the phone from.

Speaker 2

Philadelphia's defensive task is simple, but not really. Dolphins offense has four key legs. It stands on the two most obvious TUA and Tyreek.

Speaker 3

It's cup by Hill. Look at him, he's super rocking in his hey.

Speaker 2

Hill has four games with over one hundred and fifty five yards, already went for one hundred and sixty three last week. Dolphins have won three of the four games handily.

Speaker 3

Time for Tua.

Speaker 6

Here he comes Hill touch in twenty four yard pickup.

Speaker 2

Hill leads the league in receiving yards, receiving yards per game, receiving touchdowns, and yards per catch. No one in the league is harder to cover at this point. He can't be left one on one unless Philadelphia signs the Flash to play corner this week.

Speaker 3

Love boy, you do look you look? Youtu Look How big boy? How big boy out here?

Speaker 2

Tongue of Iiloa knows all that and benefits from it. Eagles facing a quarterback leading the league in TD passes, passing yards per game, rating, yards per attempt, yards per completion, three tds last week, rating over one twenty five.

Speaker 3

It's most of se tux Ton Mon.

Speaker 2

There are times he doesn't even look like he's trying. Just be patient and the Cheetah will eventually be open. If not him, Burgis Meredith will sorry get the times right. Colin Ferrell. Jalen waddled again last week. He scored back to back games.

Speaker 3

Here they come there, he goes.

Speaker 5

Tua clip tuxtime, wattle, twattle.

Speaker 3

Everybody's doing it here in Miami.

Speaker 2

The real key to slowing that Trio down is pressuring Tua, which is not easy. No what else tongue of Iloa's number one in least amount of pressured faced in large part because no quarterback is getting rid of the ball faster than he is.

Speaker 3

What's the timing quickly comes out of his hands. It's on top of burials before the defense.

Speaker 2

Miami has taking the second few of sacks just six. Tua took four in one game. They're only lost to Buffalo week four.

Speaker 3

Here they come Russell coming after him. He's done him. They in the drive with a sack.

Speaker 2

See where this is all headed right? Philadelphia's front is front and center if they want to slow down Miami. Good thing for them. They have the kind of front that's capable of that second QB hits this year fourth most sacks pressure rate near forty seventh highest in the NFL.

Speaker 3

Wilson in trouble at he sacked Jordan Davis.

Speaker 2

Eagles come off a five sack outing versus New York. Hassan Reddick is on a tear two and a half bags week six back to back games with two plus a sack in three straight games.

Speaker 5

Wilson in trouble and he takes a huge sack Hassan Reddick his second sack.

Speaker 3

Of the day.

Speaker 2

Josh Sweat has three and a half QB takedowns this season, as does defensive tackle Jalen Carter, who missed last week. They could really use him and cornerback Darius Slay who also sat out last week. They haven't locked down wide outs this season, have allowed a ninety point eight rate to the position. Give up ninety yards to Garrett Wilson.

Speaker 5

Last week going down the sideline for Carrott, Wilson makes the adjustment for and the grab.

Speaker 2

If all of that is just half the challenge facing Philadelphia defenders, the Dolphins run game doesn't get the same acclaim as its pass game, as if they keep piling up one hundred yard rush games on the back end of the game, that's not it. Raheem Moster one hundred and fifteen yards last week, two more touchdowns six point eight to.

Speaker 3

Carry Moster's diving touchdown.

Speaker 2

Mike McDaniel's run play designs are what really makes their offense.

Speaker 3

Such a bewitched episode.

Speaker 2

To deal with, the Eagles need their defense to play moster the way they've handled most backs, holding them to three point one to carry second lowist in the NFL, held Breise Hall to three point three a run.

Speaker 3

And on first down nowhere to go. That a good push up front.

Speaker 2

It wasn't the Eagles defense that had issues versus New York, it was their offense, specifically Jalen Hurts. He needs to wake up for this one or it could get away from the Eagles. Miami's offense won't likely be as stagnant as New York's was. Three I T's last week, and the Jets didn't even have Sauce or DJ Reed at corner.

Speaker 3

Heerts in trouble a wabbler as he's hit and it's intercepted.

Speaker 5

That pressure came late, forced to floater and hole with the interception.

Speaker 2

Hurts is a sub ninety rate in three of their last four games. He's faced a decent amount.

Speaker 3

Of pressure lately too. Took two sacks versus the Jets.

Speaker 2

That's not a big deal, but faced pressure over forty percent of his dropbacks that did affect him in trouble.

Speaker 5

Hurts backs up to the inzo on the run by in time, Hurts throws in kompoint.

Speaker 2

Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson also left the game hurt and his backup struggled. That's problematic versus the Dolphins because another overlooked aspect about them their pass rush. Only two teams with more sacks than them. No one with more QB hits.

Speaker 3

No look out for Wilkins and shop.

Speaker 2

Andrew van ginkel Zach Sealer four sacks each, Christian Wilkins three and a half, Emmanuel Ogba, Bradley Chubb two plus each.

Speaker 3

Right out here kick hole pub zails yet another sack.

Speaker 2

And Jalen Phillips came back from injury last week too. They for sure have the front to bother hurts. Their problems kick in when they don't get home. Though ninety eight point nine rating allowed quarterbacks, completion percentage allowed near seventy.

Speaker 5

What Disney through town field of Jones, It's called bonfield.

Speaker 2

They gave up one hundred and fifteen yards to Adam feel and a touchdown in their Week six win. They've given up a one oh five point nine rate to wideouts in twenty twenty.

Speaker 3

Three dam So touchdown Celon. They also saw.

Speaker 2

Cornerback Xavian Howard leave with a groin injury, so it could be even tougher to cover aj Brown. He just keeps piling up one hundred yard games one hundred and thirty one versus New York one hundred and twenty five plus and four straight.

Speaker 5

Here's Brown first down inside the thirty five, breaking tackles to the thirty in Brown down the sideline.

Speaker 2

Vonte Smith forty four yards last week, eleven targets only five catches. He's been kind of quiet two games in a row. Tight End Dallas Godder forty two yards. Week six, running back DeAndre Swift forty receiving yards in a TD.

Speaker 5

Old barbro Swift a little juggle, breaks the tackle touchdown.

Speaker 2

Swift as a runner disappeared last week eighteen yards on ten carries. He hasn't been over four point one a run in three straight games now. Maybe the last name is too much to bear.

Speaker 3

Swift to carry negative play.

Speaker 2

Hurts has been using his legs effectively enough, though, Forty seven yards last week in a score.

Speaker 5

Hurts dancing around again escapes, the botet, finds room to run and hurts out of bounds on a diagonal.

DET BAL

Speaker 2

Best game of the week, no matter how Philadelphia look versus New York Stars galore on both sides of the ball. One of the best Week seven games on the docket. Detroit Lions on the road in Baltimore. Back from Jolly Old England feeling pretty jolly.

Speaker 3

Set to Bacchinostone and he still hasn't.

Speaker 2

Baltimore's defense proved to be too much for Tennessee's offense last week, and it's proven to be too much for most teams this season. Lions high powered, oh squaring off with a Ravens bunch that's top three in points per game allowed this year.

Speaker 3

It's got to help.

Speaker 6

It's back to Queen, so Queen gets the King off the field.

Speaker 2

Ravens defense has very few weaknesses. Tough against the run, strong pass rush, good against the pass, and all of those will be needed versus Detroit's offense, which is one of the most balanced attacks in the league.

Speaker 5

Goff has a man on the out route and it's a connection with his excellent rookie tight end Sam Laporta.

Speaker 2

How balanced Detroit is this week will Hinge on the availability of its backfield. Rookie Jamiir Gibbs didn't play Week six and David Montgomery left their game hurt.

Speaker 3

He is the engine, in my opinion, that gets this offense running. That that would be a huge loss for this team.

Speaker 2

That placed and could place a lot of pressure on Jared Goff to move the ball and against the Tampa Bay secondary that had played the pass tough. He went for three hundred and fifty plus yards, eight yards per attempt, two tds, no picks, a raiding near one ten.

Speaker 5

Goff loads it up through behind Josh Reynolds, who makes the adjustment as he often has for his quarterback.

Speaker 2

Goff now has an other tough secondary to battle with. The Ravens have held quarterbacks to a low seventies rate. They're in the sub sixty completion percentage club. Not many are in that club.

Speaker 3

Ravens all around and broken up by Marcus Williams.

Speaker 2

I'm on Ross Saint Brown versus cornerback Marlon Humphrey. That's a big one. Humphrey does plenty of traveling. Ravens held DeAndre Hopkins to one catch last week, just twenty yards. They're holding wide receivers to a seventy point four rate in twenty twenty three.

Speaker 5

Pressure up the middle, Pittman John Les battles and drops knocked out of his hands by Brandon Stevens.

Speaker 2

Saint Brown comes in off a twelve catch, one hundred and twenty four yard td outing. Fifteen of Golf's forty four targets went to him.

Speaker 5

Under pressure, Golf was protected. Saint Brown has it. Craig Reynolds to the big block, and Saint Brown works all the way downfield for the touchdown.

Speaker 2

Gough's second favorite look to Sam Laporta.

Speaker 5

GoF plenty of time man this time. Sam Laporta holds up to.

Speaker 2

Move the chains only thirty six yards last week, but eleven targets. No one else on the team had four plus. Baltimore's linebackers and safeties will also make it tough on him, though they've held tight ends to a fifty eight point nine rating incomplete.

Speaker 6

He was trying to hit Darnell Washington, the third round rookie from Georgia, and Rokeewand Smithson not on my watch.

Speaker 2

Ravens also have Josh Reynolds to worry about. Fifty yards last week, He's given him fifty plus in each game he started and finished Goff.

Speaker 5

On second down, beautiful throw up the scene for Josh Reynolds.

Speaker 2

And Baltimore's DB's better handle their Jamison responsibly. Williams is the game breaking threat of forty five yard touchdown last week.

Speaker 3

Once it all Jamison Williams looking for the ball.

Speaker 2

Touchdown, yet another beefy battle. Goff's O line against Baltimore's pass rush. Ravens with a sacks six versus Tennessee twenty four sacks and six games.

Speaker 3

They aren't blitz happy either. He's take it down to Debbian Clowney flip the coin.

Speaker 2

Now, Lions defense facing a Raven's offense that's still a work in progress, middle of the pack and scoring, but with their d they don't need a ton of points. Detroit still has to play the run well first and foremost specifically, they have to be able to play Lamar Jackson's legs well.

Speaker 3

Nice footboard Jackson, don't step first down right putting on a show.

Speaker 2

Right there, Jackson is still taking off with the ball. He led the team in rushing yards versus Tennessee, has forty five plus rush yards in their last five games.

Speaker 3

You will step up and go aside the spread them up, then slice them up.

Speaker 2

Detroit has allowed four point five a run to quarterbacks. That's the wrong side of average compared to the rest of the league. When Baltimore hands off Gus Edwards under four yards per carry last week, but he's given them between forty and sixty five yards five straight Scus Edwards.

Speaker 6

Again, nice speaking down Baltimore, tough to tackle that guy.

Speaker 2

He will have a tougher time than Jackson in theory lions of stuffed running backs to three point one a run only one team ahead of them.

Speaker 5

There Back to the line of scrimmage egos good penetration by Alex Anzelonian company.

Speaker 2

What's Detroit's secondary dealing with when it comes to the Ravens passing game? The consistent components Jackson, Mark Andrews, Ze Flowers. Flowers caught Lamar's one touchdown past week six fifty yards, his low for the year forty eight. He's having a nice rookie year.

Speaker 3

Lamar dancing around Flinton to touchdown.

Speaker 2

Andrews led the team in receiving yards versus Tennessee with sixty nine sixty five plus yards and three straight for him.

Speaker 3

Now Blamar for andrews up big Canado.

Speaker 2

Lions defense hasn't handled tight ends great, allowing a rating near one hundred to them. Didn't face an a list or last week. Detroit's better versus wide outs, holding them to under a ninety rate held Mike Evans four catches on ten targets. Week six held Baker Mayfield a five point six yards per attempt. No touchdowns are rating under sixty.

Speaker 5

Picked him off off a fake, off a pump at a flet, shit at a pick. It belongs to Detroit.

Speaker 2

Jackson isn't easy to sack, not hard to either. He has taken sixteen sacks in six games. Pressure rate faced

LAC KC

mid thirties. Lions aren't blitz happy either. Aiden Hutchinson didn't get to Baker last week. Detroit's pass rush not the same at Baltimore can neutralize him. LA Chargers on the road Week seven inter division battle as they head to Kansas City. The Chiefs now officially streaking through the quad behind Frank the Tank.

Speaker 3

Kansas City winning its last sixteen regular season games.

Speaker 2

Casey's on a five win vender. Patrick Mahomes three hundred and six yards passing last week, has thrown for two hundred and seventy plus and four of their last five.

Speaker 3

This is what separates the past.

Speaker 2

Thritney was at Casey's game again. Not surprising then that Travis Kelcey comes in off his best twenty twenty three showing Kelsey apparently inspired by spears. Nine targets, nine catches, one hundred and twenty four yards.

Speaker 7

They said, forget these receivers, let's put two on eighty seven. He'll take care of it.

Speaker 2

Good for Kelsey, by the way, hanging with an older woman. And yet La isn't facing an elite offense. The Chiefs have only put up twenty four plus points in two games this season.

Speaker 5

Well say, if the Chiefs offense can't get going, it's something that doesn't not said too often.

Speaker 2

Mahomes hasn't been thrilled with the offense. Despite the wins, they only scored nineteen versus Denver on a night the Broncos were playing hot potato with the ball. No, you guys take it. Mahomes threw his fifth kick in six games, very undued for him, four for thirteen on third down versus a Denver defense ranked near the bottom in almost every way.

Speaker 3

Denver defense once again setting up before.

Speaker 2

Them, Mahomes goes from one bottom dwelling secondary to another. Chargers defense hasn't played the pass well either. In twenty twenty three. Have given up one of the highest rates in the game. Gave up two hundred and seventy plus yards to Dak Press got last week rating allowed close to one ten and.

Speaker 8

They have really struggled and they've had a lot of opportunities.

Speaker 2

Mahomes needs one of his receivers to develop into a consistent second option. Rashi Rice was sort of that guy Week six. Four targets, four catches, seventy two yards.

Speaker 3

Get a glimpse of what Rice can do after the catch.

Speaker 2

They just haven't seen any wide receiver really have back to back good games yet for them. Could he versus LA's secondary, It certainly seems like it. They gave up over one hundred and ten yards to Ceedee Lamb. They've allowed the second highest rate to wide receivers of any team.

Speaker 8

He just opens up a big window there for Lamb to get in.

Speaker 2

Kansas City's tackles are going to have to ball this weekend to give Mahomes time. They will be doing battle with Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack and Morgan Fox. Juwan Taylor may need to line up behind Mahomes a kid, a kid, but not kidding. Chiefs line plus Patrick's legs have helped him face the second least pressure in twenty twenty three, and he holds the ball plenty long.

Speaker 3

He just is it so many times you kind of get used to it.

Speaker 2

Mac picked up his seventh sack versus Dallas. Morgan Fox bag Dac twice. He's got five sacks now in a four game bag streak.

Speaker 3

The loss on the plane, it's Morgan Fox.

Speaker 2

We mentioned Mahomes legs, He's using them more in picking up lots of first downs. Thirty one yards rushing last week, averaging thirty point eight per game right now, his career high for a season twenty two.

Speaker 9

The second he gets out here, things get tough.

Speaker 2

The Chargers just let Prescott go for forty rushing yards five point seven are running a touchdown.

Speaker 8

Nobody accounted for Prescott the back.

Speaker 2

LA will try and stop Isaiah Pacheco sixty two yards last week, sixty plus yards and five straight games, and.

Speaker 3

It really gives him a balanced attack.

Speaker 2

If the Chiefs o face sputters again, La still has to be able to hang some digits on Kansas City's defense. They were unable to hang many points on Dallas's when.

Speaker 3

They needed a play.

Speaker 8

It was the front that made it happened.

Speaker 2

So we've got an underperforming offense that has to improve against the Chiefs d holding opponents to just fourteen points seven points per game.

Speaker 3

A defense is is through it right to him.

Speaker 2

They are top ten on third down, holding quarterbacks to an eighty two rate.

Speaker 10

And this is why I think it's a challenge for opponents going against the Chiefs this year.

Speaker 2

The LA pass catchers are going to have to work safety Justin Reid holding targets to a sub seventy rate. Cornerback Joshua Williams sub seventy five, cornerback Trent McDuffie sub eighty, and they're big man on campus. Cornerback Lagerias Sneid low sixties guard it there by Sneid Chiefs have held wide receivers to a sub eighty rating and that's an A plus battle. Then with Keenan Allen eighty five yards versus Dallas and he scored. He's the focal point to their passing attack.

Speaker 3

Here's Allen touchdown Chargers.

Speaker 2

Chargers have Joshua Palmer sixty yards last week, but they need more. Herbert hasn't looked as crisp lately.

Speaker 3

Without Mike Williams on board.

Speaker 8

You don't see justin Herbert missed too many of those.

Speaker 2

Herbert only took one sack, but he was hit eight times. The pressure Dallas applied played a big role in keeping him at bay, and.

Speaker 8

Then Herbert's success weight a minute was supposed to.

Speaker 3

Have that protective.

Speaker 2

Kansas City's pass rushes built on two primary tent poles, Chris Jones and the blitz. Cj has a sack in every game he's played five and a half for the year. Kansas City a blitz rate over thirty eight percent, fourth highest in the league, but this.

Speaker 9

Is a fast, athletic Kansas City defense.

Speaker 2

Should be noted then, that Herbert has seventy d's against five plus, tied for the most in the league, a fat one fifteen point nine rating. He's been better against the blitz than without it.

Speaker 3

Slum its sidearm man into the zone.

Speaker 2

Chargers did get Austin Eckler back last week, but he ended under two yards per carry in his return.

Speaker 3

Eckler dancing got half a yard.

Speaker 2

He could rebound, though Chiefs defensive flaw is still run defense. Gave up five point two a run to Javonte W. Williams on his ten tries, four point three to Julia McLaughlin, four point five to running backs in twenty twenty three.

Speaker 3

Big Hold exploits that baby.

Speaker 2

This sets up as a nice superfan matchup too. I

SF MIN

don't know if LA's travels though, and maybe best not drink more than six rock stars at one time. The crash, along with being a Chargers fan, is real. The San Francisco forty nine ers hit the road again this week, Midwest again. Maybe it will go better than.

Speaker 3

It did last week.

Speaker 2

Lot lok on forty nine ers lift their wounds and head to Minnesota. Who ain't dead yet? In fact, they feel happy thinking about going for a walk.

Speaker 3

Actually that what is loft It in the air. It's intercepted.

Speaker 2

It may not have been pretty, but we've all seen those ugly dogs win that award. Right, they're still wearing the sash and laughing all the way to the Canine Bank.

Speaker 5

If you will, looking its cap touchdown, it's the rookie Jordan Andison.

Speaker 2

No jj no problem, just crank some Creed and everything's good. I guess Kirk Cousins did just enough, throwing passes to guys with arms wide open and their defense three hickaways. It was like Chicago's own prison out there last week.

Speaker 5

Pruce, you're coming here and the pullus out tell the sublid.

Speaker 2

Vikings players treated to some higher by Creed pre game ahead of the Week six flash with the Bears. Minnesota players like dang Kirk, you didn't seem like a cat down with the four to twenty funny.

Speaker 3

Okay, we see you.

Speaker 2

He's like, no, that's not what he's singing about. You know, you know what, screw it. Maybe it does mean that whatever it takes to fire everyone up, and seemed to fire up the defense at least.

Speaker 5

Age, let's it flog and it's a duck and it's intercepting. Futter and Murphy picked it off.

Speaker 2

They dominated justin fields before he left her and he had been on fire the previous two games, and they held the Bears offense, which had averaged over thirty points per game in their last two to thirteen points.

Speaker 3

You see Josh via tell us getting home again. That's what he's so good at.

Speaker 2

Now they see what they can do versus Rock Purty and who he saw Deebo and CMC leave hurt last week. Clearly they topped the injury watch list.

Speaker 3

In this match up.

Speaker 5

Christin McCaffrey is headed to the locker room sprinting, but again, forty Niners need him right now.

Speaker 2

The BCB man's confidence deflated without them. Purdy comes in off his worst NFL start one hundred and twenty five yards, only four point six yards per attempt, a rating under sixty one, touchdown one pick.

Speaker 3

Purty slings it in intercepted three for thirteen on third down. Purty now has to try.

Speaker 2

And do something he's never had to attempt before start a game after losing an NFL regular season game.

Speaker 11

Oh Wusu Cormoa got enough depth that he's able to elevate that ball.

Speaker 9

He just is able to get his hands on it. But party's lucky that wasn't a pick.

Speaker 2

To rebound, He's going to have to beat the Blitz and with it to kneel the QB Hunter. No team Blitz is more than Minnesota. Hunter had two sacks last week.

Speaker 3

He would now star on the OCHO for the number of bags he's collected for the Sea it is a sack.

Speaker 5

He now has seven of the fifteen sacks this year for the Minnesota Kicks.

Speaker 2

Ouchtown population. You bro so which party shows up the one with a plus one hundred rate versus five plus pass rushers for twenty twenty three or the one that didn't crack a sixty rate versus five plus versus Cleveland last week.

Speaker 3

Here's to throw. He's a prusher. He is who throws away and it's incomplete.

Speaker 2

Thirty nine ers need consistency from George Kittle. He goes from three tds one week to one catch for one yard.

Speaker 11

This was supposed to be a little seen go route by Kittle, and I think this ball just comes out of his hand.

Speaker 9

He just loses it to the boundary.

Speaker 2

That's four Greg Kittle games for him in twenty twenty three. If there's no debo, Kittle and Brandon Ayuk become the focus for Minnesota's secondary. They held DJ Moore, who went for two hundred and thirty plus the week before to fifty one yards last week. You could see a lot of cornerback Byron Murphy, who's having a great year for the Vikes. Sub ninety rating allowed only one guy has more than his seven passes defense at that pass.

Speaker 3

No Byron Murphy.

Speaker 2

There defensively, forty nine ers rush attack could be in the hands of Jordan Mason if CMC is out, that's not a terrible thing. Over five yards per carry in his last two games, fifteen to tempts.

Speaker 5

To Mason, good blocking, less cuts up the field five.

Speaker 2

Partienzo McCaffrey being available would make things more problematic, obviously, but it should be noted under four yards per carry before he got hurt last week, under four a run the week before. Versus Dallas teams that are both tough on running backs in Minnesota's is as well, holding them to three point seven to carry.

Speaker 3

Well, they'll keep it on the ground.

Speaker 5

Evans fuffled it, but the Bears able to recover.

Speaker 3

Forty nine ers.

Speaker 2

Faithful Empire Nation collective.

Speaker 3

I don't know.

Speaker 2

I can't keep up anymore, but their fans all thinking it took us losing our best player, a top receiver, a random missed field goal, and a lot of help from not to single them out, because we're not supposed to make anyone feel bad, but with a lot of help from Marty and his pals, from Madagascar.

Speaker 11

I didn't see a ton of contact. Obviously, officials saw it different. And right now these penalties are killing San Francisco.

Speaker 3

Marty's the Zebra.

Speaker 2

By the way, in case you didn't pick up on that, scoring on San Francisco is still going to take work. They didn't have any issues with PJ Walker, no touchdowns, picked him off twice. They have great numbers against qbs across the board.

Speaker 11

He's one of the best coverage linebackers in the NFL, potential Defensive Player of the Year candidate.

Speaker 2

At the same time, they did give up over one hundred yards to a Mary Cooper. It doesn't fit with how they've handled wide receivers in twenty twenty three, but it did happen.

Speaker 3

There's Walker, you had some time gonna loft it up. Cooper's wide open. He's got it. Wicks the move, Cooper food grace.

Speaker 2

Normally this is the moment we'd be like, oh snap, here comes JJ. But alas he can only clap from the sidelines, which is where he'll be again this week, rooting on cousins who had to grind without him.

Speaker 3

Didn't throw any I in T's one TV at least.

Speaker 5

Cousin Jova the middle, and he's able to find osports.

Speaker 2

Still five point eight yards per attempt, only one hundred and eighty one yards passing. San Francisco is facing a passing attack that's a shell of its JJ sealt rookie Jordan Addison caught Cousins touchdown, not much else. kJ Osborne forty eight yards, tight end TJ. Hawkinson fifty. He led the team in catches and targets.

Speaker 3

Just kind of gets his feet of the ground and that's what makes TJ. Hockinson so dangerous. He's so quick out of those breaks.

Speaker 2

Cousins should expect pressure. Forty nine ers pressure rate one of the highest in the game. Newcomer Randy Gregory nabbed his first sack as a forty nine er versus the Browns.

Speaker 3

Nick Bosa picked up his second.

Speaker 5

Blitzs coming walker a twenty sack nick Bosa.

Speaker 2

The forty nine Ers don't blitz a ton. It's mainly their front four. So just how does Cousins handle pressure?

Speaker 3

Well? Check it out.

Speaker 2

He has seven touchdowns against it, most of any quarterback in the NFL. One of the best rates against it.

Speaker 3

Fires to the end zone to Jefferson touchdown.

Speaker 2

Yeah, those digits with Jefferson on the field for five games. When Minnesota Toak's at Alexander Madison forty four yards two point four a.

Speaker 3

Carry versus the Bears.

Speaker 2

So what does Captain Kirk rock this week to fire the troops up, little nickelback. Maybe because we all want to be big rock stars driving cars and stuff. And San Francisco saw the Browns experience a joyous conclusion to their football game without their starting quarterback.

Speaker 3

By the way, is that okay?

Speaker 2

I cannot be held accountable for others interpretation of the English language. Get your minds out of the gut, or maybe.

Speaker 3

Shuck gun snap plitz. He's back. He throws it down to their sideline. Pittsburgh's tech.

Speaker 2

That's his sweet as fineberry high.

Speaker 3

We have some significant guys in active, and so I just appreciate the fight. Pittsburgh Steelers head west to LA this week. They get the rams.

Speaker 2

We're back at five hundred and could be going places as long as no one in their locker room has hurt feelings.

Speaker 9

Coop had the one on one and the deep rout.

Speaker 12

Nice pocket to launch right side into the Topet's cut behind the defense brings it at the thirty in Arizona.

Speaker 3

Cooper Cup ran right past them first. One of those.

Speaker 8

He's got it joked on until it was probably the last.

Speaker 2

But Cooper Cup is back and in full of fact. One hundred and eighteen yards in his twenty twenty three debut.

Speaker 10

Cooper had I mean, you look at it and it's like, holy geez, you had one hundred.

Speaker 2

And forty eight uh follows it with one hundred and forty eight yards and a TD.

Speaker 10

You see those twos report, you know, looking like they're kind of mid season form, if you will.

Speaker 5

We're down and nine to the right pylon and it's cuts touchdown Cooper Cup the.

Speaker 2

Third down touchdown where they connected.

Speaker 10

You know, that was a great, big time throwing catch by them.

Speaker 2

Pooka Nakua twenty six yards. I'm glad you brought up Pooka, took Matthew Stafford probably feeling a little like j Lo explaining Ben to a Rod Luca. We had some great times together, we really did. I'm oh, I'm sorry, Pooka.

PIT LAR

Of course I still remember your name. It's just me and Coop have history. You know, we made Giglee together, Gegle or whatever that was. We want to ship together. Nothing personal.

Speaker 12

I mean, my goodness, there was one place and one player Stafford could throw that football too, and he did exactly that.

Speaker 3

I thought Matthew was really outstanding.

Speaker 10

Didn't have as many opportunities, but man, he settled in and made the big time throws when he had to.

Speaker 2

Stafford himself over nine yards per attempt rating near one. Ten no picks, one TD pass.

Speaker 12

Pretty hands from two to two at well, that's again of thirty yards and Stafford delivered it on time.

Speaker 3

On target.

Speaker 2

Cup and Stafford did their work versus an Arizona defense ranked near the bottom against the pass. The Steelers defense they play this week has been much tougher on qbs. They've held them to a mid eighties rating, holding them to a sub sixty completion percentage.

Speaker 3

More than seventh Shotgut Staffy.

Speaker 10

Man, he's sack County too lot and it's a good pack raven one long time.

Speaker 2

The catch is they haven't played wide receivers as well. Ninety three rating allowed to the position. When Stafford looks for Waldo, he'll find Patrick Peterson of all cornerbacks as wearing the red and white hat. Five tds allowed rating over one fifteen.

Speaker 6

They're carving up this Pittsburgh defense sixteen yards of the fast play against the veteran Patrick Peterson.

Speaker 2

Steelers have given up a lot of big plays too so far, twelve point three yards per catch allowed. Overall, only a few teams have given up twelve plus as.

Speaker 4

A pass BEAUTI football Collins and he's gonna Watson tous down.

Speaker 2

Stafford has to be able to execute under duress. Pittsburgh's pressure rate north of thirty eight percent, that's top ten. They average just under three sacks a game. They have that TJ.

Speaker 5

Watt, Dude Jackson, these tunt TJ Watts.

Speaker 2

Stafford did take three sacks last week. Some of his roughest games this season have been the result of an opposing pass rush pestering him all game long.

Speaker 3

Stafford wants to spin.

Speaker 12

It can't find its target, pocket breaks down, he's sacked inside the twenty yard line.

Speaker 2

Will La be able to lean on its run game like it did week six?

Speaker 10

You know, ten and seventeen and then a thirty yard hit. I mean, those are big time deals and it was.

Speaker 3

It was awesome.

Speaker 2

Iron Williams had a career game versus Arizona.

Speaker 10

He was running like an absolute man on a mission.

Speaker 2

One hundred and fifty eight yards seven point nine aer run. It was awesome, but he got hurt and they don't think he can play this week. Whoever gets the most carries for them could still do a little something. Pittsburgh has given up four point eight to run. The running backs in twenty twenty three cuts.

Speaker 3

Back across the left.

Speaker 11

He's got some space across the thirty five to the forty, to the fifty.

Speaker 3

To the forty of the Steelers for thirty to the twenty brought home.

Speaker 2

So you have what you'd consider a what B graded offense.

Speaker 3

So far, he found a way to win down the stretch. I think that's all that matters.

Speaker 2

Against a B graded defense.

Speaker 3

But I thought the defense kept us in the game.

Speaker 2

Pittsburgh's offense is more in game preview guy territory B grades, more like a dream pick.

Speaker 3

It takes the snap firing in the back corner of the end zone in complete. The ball was thrown short.

Speaker 2

LA's defense goes from one stunted zero to another. Steelers averaging fifteen point eight points per game so far, worst team in the red zone and not good on third down.

Speaker 3

It was rushed for Pickett throws Enzo in complete. He wanted Allan Robinson, but he overthrew them two yards deep in the end zone.

Speaker 2

They do at least come in with momentum. The last time their offense was on the field, it was winning the game and the waning moments.

Speaker 10

It was important that that that we stay engaged for sixty minutes and delivered those timely plays at the end, which he did.

Speaker 6

For a one twenty three to go on a second to nine, Pickett one up a people separation touch down.

Speaker 5

George prickeards, you know, big time player, you know, make big time plays in those moments.

Speaker 2

One can argue, if the Rams secondary keeps that guy from beating them, they can beat Pittsburgh with the.

Speaker 9

Long speed I have and then also the back shoulder game.

Speaker 3

So if they're not doubling me, I'm a little surprised, Sir.

Speaker 2

George Pickens has two one hundred yard games, one hundred and twenty five plus in each.

Speaker 3

Actually, I don't think there's any you know, question in my faith. In fourteen Pickett throws some literal highlight. George Pickens was a great shoulder catch.

Speaker 2

Pickens averages seventy eight yards per game. A running back is second on their team with thirty three, so how the Rams handle Pickens is especially important to them this week. Good news is they've held wide receivers to a seventy point four rating in twenty twenty three, fifth lowest, held Arizona's top white out Hollywood Brown to four catches on eleven targets last week, stops going deep.

Speaker 3

Haddicks broken up with Jennifer.

Speaker 9

Cru It's nowhere nears as good as it needs to be.

Speaker 12

Speaking from an offensive standpoint, we understand that all the players do, all the coaches do.

Speaker 2

As for the dude trying to get Pickens the ball sub eighty rate in twenty twenty three, just six and a half yards per attempt, completion rate, under sixty five touchdowns, four interceptions. Kenny Pickett has had a rough twenty twenty three.

Speaker 5

Kicking looking fires towards the U zone and incomplete.

Speaker 2

Canada produces great hockey players produced. Drake produce strange brew, so why can't it produce a great quarterback and more offense. Lots of stealer loyalists don't even blame Picket for his woes.

Speaker 6

Got guns that play action, fake Picket, He's sacked back outside the forty.

Speaker 3

They had him from two different angles.

Speaker 2

He could not escape La secondary as a whole picked off Josh Dobbs once. No TD's allowed held him to a sub sixty rating. They've held quarterbacks to the third lowest completion percentage. They are top ten in rating allowed and yards per attempt allowed.

Speaker 3

For doubt at eleven pass out of the middle, broke it up. Cardinals will pumped it away.

Speaker 2

Aaron Donald and company should factor big this week two. Only a few quarterbacks have faced more pressure than Picket has. He's taken almost three sacks per game.

Speaker 3

Dogs well down Mike Donald's that is unreal.

Speaker 2

Steelers run game has the X on it. Never know if it will factor Najie Harrison or four yards per carry for the season. I really hope Pittsburgh Dad comes out of the basement and gets deb out of the house for a little out West Vaca takes her for a walk along Hollywood Boulevard.

Speaker 3

That's a loaded opportunity.

Speaker 2

No New England Patriots at home week seven, having lost five of six. Now they get the Buffalo Bills four and two by the hair of their chinny chin chins.

Speaker 3

Taylor over the top to water and the Bills win.

Speaker 2

Buffalo didn't just make one game ending goal line stand to win last week, they made two.

Speaker 3

Barkley, he's trying to run, he's nothing to get there. Can they get it down? I don't think so.

Speaker 13

Giants try to get on the ball, they can't. And that's a terrible, terrible clock management.

Speaker 2

And that he took both stands to beat the New York Giants. And that's what's bugging Bill's mafia. When is this team gonna play and feel like a Super Bowl contender? Josh Allen's last incomplete symbolic of their season. Because it was there, and it could have been caught, or could have been thrown a little higher. They just seem off.

Speaker 3

Oh, Josh Allen's sick.

Speaker 8

He had it, you had it.

Speaker 14

They had to play perfectly set up, and he just hit the front rim and clanked it.

Speaker 2

Thankfully for Allen and the Bills, they have Stefan Diggs at least he's their twenty twenty three MVP. Ten more catches last week one hundred yards, Ellen.

Speaker 3

Trowy digs catches to the thirty six.

Speaker 2

Yard law one hundred or more yards and four straight games for Digs five out of the.

Speaker 14

Last six looking in the right corner of the end zone, fires up bullet.

Speaker 3

Can't just step on Diggs. I can't play many. I

BUF NE

told all about till you're not fat.

Speaker 2

New England did take on DeVante Adams last week, held him to twenty nine yards moss.

Speaker 3

Up in the air and at center sepped it off to the question.

Speaker 2

But they also gave up a touchdown to Jacoby Meyer sixty one yards, gave up a forty eight yard pass to Trey Tucker. They've given up a ninety eight point four rate to wideouts in twenty twenty three, so Diggs could be a problem.

Speaker 3

Still. It's out cd lam touchdown.

Speaker 2

Cowboy Allen will try and rebound after his subpar outing versus New York sub ninety rate only one hundred and sixty nine yards just five point six yards per ten.

Speaker 3

Allen on the little trying to escape. If to Dawson not you can't get it.

Speaker 2

Alan didn't even get sacked once, so it wasn't the pressure that was the problem. He just couldn't find guys open for many big chunk plays and that's where New England could make it tough for him again. They've held quarterbacks to one of the lowest yard per completion averages in the league.

Speaker 3

Is they get it in completion on first down? Yeah, that was good defense there. You see they get up get the hands on him. This is what the Patriots have done for five years.

Speaker 2

New England's secondary has only come up with one I int though in twenty twenty three. So what gives Alan through his six of the year in their Week six win.

Speaker 14

Honestly, I don't think I could have imagined this defense coming out and dominating this first half the way that they had.

Speaker 2

The Patriots defense will get hit with James Cook along the ground seventy one yards last week over five a carry.

Speaker 13

Side run ok one more time into the secondary.

Speaker 2

And some Latavious Murray maybe forty five yards on twelve attempts for him. In Week six, New England, one of the hardest teams to run on in the league, held Josh Jacobs to three point one to carry, holding backs to three point five a run for twenty twenty three.

Speaker 3

Jacobs Elder just won this time by Peppers.

Speaker 2

Pat's own run game might need to take center stage for its offense. It kept them alive versus Vegas at least Romandre Stevenson a touchdown, four point six a run on ten tries.

Speaker 3

Area is gonna come home with a touchdown he does from Andre Stevenson, Ezekiel Elliott.

Speaker 2

Seven attempts, four point nine to carry and a TD.

Speaker 3

Growing up under he's had for the touchdown.

Speaker 2

Maybe double up their workload, triple it. Maybe the Bills, even after holding Saque under four a run, have given up over five a carry to running backs this season.

Speaker 5

He burst out of there twenty five, twenty fifty ten four touchdown forever they did so.

Speaker 2

Maybe New England could bleed the clock with its backs and that would put less pressure on its passing attack that hasn't done much attacking.

Speaker 3

This is just a horrendous throw by mac Jones. I mean this one wide open Henry and he just misses out.

Speaker 2

New England has just had the darn time moving the ball through the air and in turn scoring points. New England's Week six output fitting in with their Will Ferrell body of work. Mac Jones no tds, a pick rating under eighty. That's been standard for him this season.

Speaker 3

Well on over here at about distorted.

Speaker 2

Haven't scored more than seventeen now in four straight games.

Speaker 10

Takes the snap out of the shotguns Saint Spring four and Cal grants to the boss picked off.

Speaker 3

That's tired, Matthew fifty.

Speaker 2

Ten, and I'm getting worried that Bill is about to have to meet with that guy in the commercial to talk about how not to become like your parents. Technology can be confusing, though Buffalo's secondary does not appear to be one that Jones would have an easy time getting right against. They're holding quarterbacks to a mid seventies rate.

Speaker 3

One over the middle of its intercepted, and.

Speaker 2

When Mac drops back, he'll be trying to dodge a pass rush with the fifth highest pressure rate. Maybe throw wrenches at Mac all week. If he can dodge those, maybe he can dodge Bill's pass rushers.

Speaker 3

Loses the ball.

Speaker 2

It's on the turf at the forty Denver Broncos at home weeks ready for a cheesehead invasion as the Green Bay Packers are in town coming off of bye week. Orange Crush faithful feeling like, oh yeah, well, our offense took Week six off two, so we're just as rested.

Speaker 5

Wilson scrambles away again and he cannot run for the first down.

Speaker 2

And they turned the ball over packers had the luxury of sitting back and watching their Week seven opponent must have felt like they were watching the benchwarmers, like I know all the guys on the screen, but this isn't.

Speaker 3

Good good pocket. They're sapted at the forty two yard line.

Speaker 2

Russell Wilson didn't even throw for one hundred yards last week. Averaged four point three per pass attempt. The run game averaged five a carry. So you know Wilson is next in line to meet with Bob Slidell. Who's gonna ask him? What is it that you say you do?

Speaker 3

Here?

Speaker 2

Pure Ti in the intercepted the chief stew it again other than throw IMT's He threw two of those last week. Threw one touchdown that required Courtland Neo Sutton to go all matrix to pull.

Speaker 7

It in right foot See his possession right foot down? He has still has possession left foot down. Does he bobble the ball and it looked like he possessed that terry. That looks like a touchdown to me.

Speaker 2

Wilson does have four one hundred plus rate games in twenty twenty three, out of six games, twelve touchdowns. His numbers aren't bad, but not many in Bronco's country care anymore.

GB DEN

They aren't the kind of numbers that have led to win.

Speaker 3

From the end zone. Looks downfield, pocket collapsing and he's in the end zone. He throws a loose ball to the near side, but.

Speaker 5

It's intentional grounding on Russell Wilson, with the Jets able to record a safety.

Speaker 2

His bottom of the barrel outing in week six did come against the Kansas City defense that's played qbs and offens is tough, but the green Bay secondary he faces this week as strong as well, sub eighty five rating allowed to quarterbacks, holding him to a nice six point six yards per attempt, giving up under two hundred yards per game.

Speaker 3

Garoppolo keeps is looking for Hooper, now.

Speaker 5

Go steeper downfield picked up by Rudy four.

Speaker 2

Green Bay has held all three position groups to a rating under ninety, so no blind spots. Whether Russ is cooking or not, green Bay's pass rush will heat his kitchen up. They have one of the highest blitz rates in the league, and with it, one of the highest pressure rates in the game.

Speaker 5

Down goes Corocolo, Kenney Clark got it.

Speaker 2

That's plenty relevant in this matchup, as Wilson's dud was against a Kansas City pass rush that also blitzes like crazy. Wilson's twenty twenty three rate is a hair under one hundred versus five plus pass rushers. It drops to under eighty these receivers.

Speaker 3

If you eat separation, you need some kind of help tight coverage.

Speaker 2

Aside from making him uncomfortable last week, it also led to four sacks taken two Wilson sack Denver's rush attack. Green Bay's run defense Javonte Williams Jilliel McLaughlin eighty two yards combined last week just seventeen carries.

Speaker 3

Both guys efficient or not.

Speaker 7

I don't know if the NFL is really seen what Javonte Williams can do when he is healthy. Brings a lot of physicality and more quickness than I think people want to give him credit.

Speaker 2

Green Bay's run defense tougher than the one that they just faced. They've held running back a Furah Kerry Mark.

Speaker 5

Here's Jacob still trying to get on tracks. Hey Kwi Walker back there to make the stop the loss of two.

Speaker 2

As you can see, the Broncos offense faces another tough defense, but they two need more from their offense. Jordan Love's last outing wasn't much better than Wilson's latest, Love throwing three I in t's without any touchdowns against a Raider secondary that hadn't fared all that great prior. Love has a sub eighty rating for the year, under seven yards per attempt.

Speaker 3

Love protected in the air. In fact, second course, plane.

Speaker 2

Ackers pass catchers like Denver's don't sport big numbers. No one on the team averages more than fifty eight yards per game stacked up against an improving Broncos secondary. Denver may have atrocious numbers against the past. Overall, they've given up the highest rate in the league, for example, but the last two games have held quarterbacks to a sub ninety rate. Safety Justin Simmons return from injury coinciding with their upward trend.

Speaker 5

Then just wings it and it's picked off at the goal line, Justin Simmon.

Speaker 2

Packers run game is an X factor. They're hoping aa Ron Jones is ready to go. He'll have had plenty of time to heal. At least, hasn't played since September twenty eighth, and he only had five carries that game.

Speaker 3

Only has fourteen all year.

Speaker 5

Baron Jones, electrifying he's gone to.

Speaker 3

The house touched out green bag.

Speaker 2

Packers man, would they love to load him and aj Dillon up? In this game, Broncos have allowed five point nine yards per run to running backs. No team more generous to the position.

Speaker 14

Gets a handoff, turns at the ten, now cuts.

Speaker 3

Left at the five.

Speaker 13

He breaks a tackle into the episode touchdown.

Speaker 2

This is a modern day YouTube classic good sports. Brandon Perna Bronco super fan for anyone who doesn't know versus Tom and his grossy posse Purna's Green Bay alter ego or is it the other way around? Mentioned both earlier, by the way, not just this season. Jumped on those bandwagons years ago. Arizona Cardinals off to the Northwest this week, hoping to snap a three game losing streak, or maybe they feel a little like Peter Gibbons. I wouldn't say hoping, Bob.

They faced the Seattle Seahawks, also coming off in l at twelve's feeling like playing a little pod two point zero because here comes the boom two point zero, ball.

Speaker 6

Gets charred loose, t Higgins couldn't secure it, break wooland with the hit.

Speaker 2

I don't know that their legion status just yet. Seattle secondary is starting to look scary good. Safety Jamal Adams, Quandre Diggs, cornerbacks Wreak Woolan, Devin Witherspoon, Trey Brown. They all held Joe Burrow to one hundred and eighty five yards five point three yards per attempt, held him to a sub ninety rating.

Speaker 6

Ber timing round intercept it, Chase the intended receiver, and Trey Brown in front of him for the pitch.

Speaker 2

If you want to nitpick. Woolan gave up two short TD passes to Burrow and they allowed eighty yards to Jamar Chase, but they also made sure seven of the thirteen balls thrown chases Away didn't end up being caught. It's back to back games. They've locked up qbs and wide receivers, slowly but surely, bringing their numbers against the pass which started out rough back into form knock.

Speaker 3

Away and look who was there, Devin Withers score year.

Speaker 2

So now stack those dudes against Arizona's Joshua Dobbs passing attack. No touchdowns for Dobbs last week, one pick rating under sixty.

ARI SEA

It's back to back games he hasn't cracked the sixty rating.

Speaker 3

There's Dobbs passed to Cocted, Yeah, clicked off.

Speaker 2

Maybe Dobbs figures out where he left that glass slipper. He had a nice three game stretch prior to his recent skid, so it's not crazy to think he could have a game.

Speaker 5

Dobbs retreats and flocks for the end zone bits Brown bits a touchdown.

Speaker 2

If Seattle can pressure Dobbs as much as peg Bundy did al for some Lovin, it would go a long way in keeping Arizona's passing attack from taking off. Dobbs has faced pressure over forty percent of the time his last two games.

Speaker 3

Dobb chunder pressure, fish time throws it away and look at that.

Speaker 2

The Hawks, with a healthy thirty seven point four pressure rate, added three more sacks to their pile.

Speaker 3

Week six, Burrow toss down Maffey.

Speaker 2

Dobbs is a threat to run forty seven yards last week six point seven a carry.

Speaker 3

Dobbs takes off, tops, picks up a.

Speaker 2

First down still going, and the Cardinals backs all fared well against La At least Arizona ran for one hundred and thirty yards on four point three yer run.

Speaker 5

Overall for all the forty nine yard line, interramps territory another first down.

Speaker 2

To take right here again, though they're up against it. No team harder to run on if you're a running back. Two point seven a carry makes it seem like a waste to even try against Seattle.

Speaker 3

And off Nixon goes air bar. You needn't get there now.

Speaker 2

He did not. Seattle's defense seems well positioned to handle their side of things, barring the unexpected, which this season has been jammed with, so be careful. So what's the sitch on the other side of things? The Seahawks only scratched out thirteen points Week six, Gino Smith no touchdown, pass, two picks, sub seventy eight versus the Bengals, unable to win it in the waning moments, Smith float it up

intercept it. If Arizona is going to have a chance at doing what Cincinnati did to him, and in turn the Seahawks offense, they have to be in his face. Half the time Ish Smith faced pressure versus Cincinnati, a whopping forty nine percent of dropbacks got sacked four times.

Speaker 3

Fourth and goal Smith He's done. The fourth satch and the biggest one of the day.

Speaker 2

Arizona sacked Matthew Stafford three times. They average a healthy three per game.

Speaker 3

Stafford had trouble down he goes.

Speaker 2

However, Arizona's pass rationally pressured Matthew Stafford thirty two percent of his dropbacks. That's on the low side, nowhere near what Smith dealt with Versus Cincinnati. Stafford threw for over nine yards per attempt against the Cardinals, rating near one ten a touchdown, no I iNTS.

Speaker 3

Ad zone touchdown Cooper Cup.

Speaker 2

Arizona had no clue how to stop cu Cup gave up one hundred and forty eight yards to him in a touchdown. Cardinals have now given up a one oh seven point six right to wideouts. Not many have been as nice to the position the season.

Speaker 13

Could it get both feted right foot down drag That is a complete shit.

Speaker 2

Now they get Tyler Lockett ninety four yards last week.

Speaker 3

Deep shot lock it over their shoulder ground.

Speaker 2

DK Metcalf had his way for sixty nine.

Speaker 3

DK Metcalf beat him up.

Speaker 5

The line of scrimmage, created the separation and right into the bucket was Gino Smith.

Speaker 2

And rookie Jackson. Smith and Jigba had forty eight yards in their loss, most he's had in his career so far.

Speaker 6

Gino Smith holds it, throws it lowcatss man Smith in ship bump.

Speaker 2

You can also make the case for Kenneth Walker having a big game. Redbirds gave up a bat one hundred and fifty eight yards to Kyron Williams seven point nine a run in a score.

Speaker 5

Williams scars down still going corn Williams.

Speaker 2

Walker scored his sixth touchdown week six plus rushing yards in four of their last five games.

Speaker 3

From the one Walker takes it in touchdown Seattle Battle of the Birds.

Speaker 2

Just because it's possible, be on the lookout for Kyler Murray news who knows.

Speaker 3

First of all, I want to thank the fans. You know, they've really did a great job.

Speaker 2

The Chicago Bears are at home again this week. It didn't do much good for them last week, though.

Speaker 3

We need to do a better job with the ball.

Speaker 5

Plus, you're coming here, have the pull us out, have the Vikings pick it up, and hickses in for the scoopid score.

Speaker 6

Giving the ball away that many times it's a hard way to win.

Speaker 3

They welcome in the Las Vegas Raiders.

Speaker 11

Credit the fight of our team that certainly wasn't a Picasso out there.

Speaker 2

Who may not be streaking through any quad, but they're thinking about it. After winning two in a row, do they have the confidence to let it all hang out and go for it.

Speaker 3

We got to do a lot of things right Hey, now let's gonna do it again.

Speaker 2

Yeah, they can bring their green hat if they want. I'm sure want the kicker.

Speaker 3

I mean, I think we have the best kicker in the NFL.

Speaker 2

If they follow Frank the Tank, it'll be their secondary that leads the.

Speaker 3

Way throws doutfield for the INDs on jop dead. Look, we get it.

Speaker 2

What Vegas's defense has done the last few weeks against the pass has come against Jordan Love and Mac Jones.

Speaker 3

This is just a horrendous throw by Mac Jones.

Speaker 2

Still four Ironts over their last two games without surrendering a TD pass. They now have held QB's on the season to a sub ninety race.

Speaker 9

Racing got to the right Diablo and his face cuts over.

Speaker 3

The middle and they canter sift it.

Speaker 2

It doesn't matter what level their last two qbs faced

LV CHI

are in or on, because they aren't facing any Dan Montana's or Joe Marinos this week at Best Chicago's Justin Field's hand is okay and he can go.

Speaker 12

Justin Field's dislocated to some I thought it was Brian as he was heah, it's risks.

Speaker 3

Yeah, it looks like it's his right riffs. Is he gonna play this week? It looks to be doubtful.

Speaker 2

Even prior to that injury, Fields was back to struggling, got cozy with the grass plenty did look at all like he did the week before. Minnesota's secondary hadn't even played QB's all that tough. Prior, Fields only managed five point eight yards per attempt, a rating under forty, no touchdowns, one.

Speaker 3

Pick that what he is left it in the air and it's intercepted.

Speaker 2

His replacement would draw Peter Griffin out. Tyson badgint bag Bagan Beijing badging.

Speaker 10

Tyson Beage At number seventeen out of Shepherd University.

Speaker 2

The undrafted rookie drove the Bears for some points and was ready to set off a QB controversy all over Chicago.

Speaker 5

Playing football is my job, so I enjoyed playing football, so I was excited to get out there.

Speaker 2

Untilly reminded everyone why no one drafted him.

Speaker 3

You always want to have two hens on the ball.

Speaker 11

At the end of the day, I got to keep two hands on the ball.

Speaker 5

Garrison's trying to give him a twota by Jordan Hicks touchdown.

Speaker 11

I gotta protect the ball.

Speaker 3

That's, you know, a big job of mine.

Speaker 2

Both guys faced a pass rush that was blitz happy. Chicago QBS took five sacks fields, four of them in his short stay.

Speaker 5

Well the first play fields gets leveled. That's been an issue at this year.

Speaker 2

Vegas blitz is at a healthy rate. We'll see if they up it after watching tape. Mad Max added a half sack to his total. Week six five and a half for him now. Raiders nabbed four bags total in their new England shopping spree.

Speaker 3

Rusher get off the act. Bad Ezack for the.

Speaker 4

Safety Crossban Nichols Hey.

Speaker 2

Sculst into the clar Raiders' secondary will be paying special attention to Dj Moore. He's the heart of the Chicago passing attack. He managed fifty yards last week.

Speaker 5

This time, bagent looking Ford again. He took a huge hit rate catch for twenty four yards.

Speaker 2

Five more more could be a problem for the Silver and Black. They gave up almost ninety yards to Kendrick Bourne. Last week have allowed a ninety five point five rating to wide outs on the season.

Speaker 3

Warn Resi tackle barness. Cony's got speed.

Speaker 2

This game feels like it could be somewhat low scoring and less Fields is healthy. He ran for forty six yards, and he had sparked Chicago's offense weeks four and five with much improved play.

Speaker 1

Got a man.

Speaker 3

Spinning away from that pressure. Gonna find Herbert into the ends up a touchdown. I'm Terripica the by Justin Fields the butt.

Speaker 2

Chicago hasn't cracked twenty one points in four of their six games, while Vegas has.

Speaker 9

I'm always going to be a glass half full on our team, you know.

Speaker 2

Okay, last week was the first time they did it, and they put up twenty one exactly. That's They're high in twenty twenty three.

Speaker 11

Nobody in this room that would love for this to be more of a twenty point victory than you know me. I think I'm Agent by the week.

Speaker 2

Jimmy Garoppolo only one hundred and sixty two yards passing a touchdown, a pick, low eighties rating, and he left injured.

Speaker 3

Garoppolo is a paint. He's grimacing a paint right now in the hub. We saw Jimmy Garoppolo go into the locker room.

Speaker 9

I was told it is a back injury, so have.

Speaker 3

To track his status as well this week. Don't know yet for this.

Speaker 10

Week relatively speaking, so there's a lot still too.

Speaker 14

I'd say I.

Speaker 2

Cover DeVante Adams just twenty nine yards. Josh Jacobs another game under four yard yards per carry, three point one versus New England run.

Speaker 13

Jacob cuts over the middle and he's not gonna get there.

Speaker 12

He tried to cut back to the left and he goes right to the yards of Juwant Bentley.

Speaker 2

So you may see a game between Tyson Vadgin and Brian Hoyer.

Speaker 3

You always got to be ready.

Speaker 2

You never know comes into this game feeling like Sergeant Murta.

Speaker 5

Right, it's about fifteenth here, I've pretty much seen all the situations.

Speaker 3

I'm too old for this.

Speaker 2

Shining light on me go six for ten though for one hundred and two yards fat ten point two yards per attempt.

Speaker 11

And moved a football, you know, a couple of drives and did his job for the most part.

Speaker 4

Boyer back to pass off his back foot, taking his shut down the middle.

Speaker 3

Heads got top cat trout.

Speaker 2

The twenty five did New England hurt Vegas along the ground a little four point six a run allowed or better to Remandre Stevenson and Zeke gave up tds to both state.

Speaker 5

I said, with his longest run of the season, he runs it through the left side, fighting.

Speaker 3

The other of goo touchdown Patriots.

Speaker 2

Chicago has Deontay Foreman to throw at them or run at them. Four point three a carry on fifteen tries versus Minnesota.

Speaker 3

Arvin cliling over fight games.

Speaker 2

Midfield Vegas with a legit shot to win three in a row and get to four and three.

Speaker 11

You keep battle on, scraping, fighting and find ways to win when you don't play perfect. I have to look at that as a positive.

Speaker 2

Chicago right now sitting on the number one and number something very close behind that in the twenty twenty four NFL Draft, they ideally would love to know Fields as the.

Speaker 3

Guy, though they always a fasteeler, so we'll see what it is.

Speaker 2

They'd rather see him play.

Speaker 6

If he is back, that's fine, But if he isn't, you know, obviously we've already put that plan in place.

Speaker 2

This is MJD locked in with his Raiders pick against Adam Rank and his auto draft Bears pick little Southern Thursday night football action. This week New Orleans Saints at home taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars and what could be a good old fashioned defensive slugfest. That's right, the D stands for more than just doovall these days to the.

Speaker 4

Sets football is loose, Jacksonville has it, and right on two it's just Allen game wrecker.

Speaker 2

Let's start with three key matchups slash questions that will potentially dictate the outcome of the game. You can provide your own in the comments section so we all have more to contemplate. This first one will very much sound like a Dan will Ferrell fouts commentary. Which team scores more points? But more specifically, what are the chances in No Orleans offense that struggles to score points puts up twenty two plus versus Jacksonville's defense steps up with a.

Speaker 4

Pocket and Haron and is picked on Drey Cisco unbelievable.

Speaker 2

If a team doesn't hit that mark, it's hard to win. Jacksonville has only allowed one team to go for twenty three plus and six games. Bills and Chiefs are on the list of teams who haven't against them.

Speaker 4

Bit you except again. Trey Von Wooker.

Speaker 3

Roy Robertson Harris was also in on the party.

Speaker 2

Coupled with a Saints Derek Carr offense that has scored more than twenty points just once in twenty two twenty three. They were trying to get to twenty. On the final play the game last week came up short fourth down, Car unloads.

Speaker 15

Texans takeover on down fifteen seconds.

Speaker 3

This will seal it.

Speaker 2

Car did throw for over three hundred yards versus the Texans.

Speaker 3

Touchdown side us she shut.

Speaker 2

Hey Rashid Shahed two catches for eighty five yards. Last week a score Taysom Hill cost seven passes forty nine yards, Michael Thomas forty five yards, Alvin Kamara thirty six, Chris o'lavey close to one hundred.

Speaker 15

Far floating one cold on. That's Chris Alabek. That was a good hands, strong.

Speaker 2

Hands, yet just one touchdown and thirteen points to show for it. Six for fifteen on third down, gave it away twice, and it sort of symbolized how they fared offensively so far far.

Speaker 15

On fourth down to Kamara, two Texans are there. He's not gonna get it. He's not gonna get it.

Speaker 2

Talking point number two Car versus Jacksonville's blitz slash Josh Allen. If you send extra heat over thirty percent of the time, that's a lot Jacksonville has. Josh Allen had a strip sack last week and he has seven bags on the season.

Speaker 3

And they bring an extra rusher Ridder on the moment, he'll be swarmed. Hard to know where the blitz is coming from. Josh Allen got a hot car.

Speaker 2

Has gone from a mid eighties rate to a seventy eight rate versus five plus pass rushers in twenty twenty three, so he doesn't get better against extra bodies. He's taken two sacks or more in every game after getting dropped twice by the Texans Week six, Here they come.

Speaker 3

Car, It's high shacked up the thirty yard Live question

JAX NO

Number three.

Speaker 2

Saints defense is used to their offense not putting up points, but how many can Jacksonville put up on theirs? New Orleans High given up twenty six? They've held teams under twenty one in five of their six games.

Speaker 3

Straut from the pocket Flyers and it's a s the first of his career.

Speaker 2

Trevor Lawrence tends to be the key to Jacksonville's offense. He'll be having to try and move the ball on one of the best secondaries in the NFL, holding quarterbacks to the second lowest right so far just five point five yards per attempt with a nice.

Speaker 3

Hit by Taylor's the defensive back right it well.

Speaker 2

Is the list of QB's they've faced super impressive Tannehill, Bryce Young, Jordan Love Baker, Mac Jones, c J.

Speaker 3

Stroud.

Speaker 2

You decide where trevo Fits didn't have to do much versus the Colts threw for a couple touchdowns.

Speaker 4

Ron Sartain goal Lnce Meanside touchdown, Clinton Strange.

Speaker 2

Lawrence is having an okay year, not an IT year, but seven touchdowns, three picks, rating over ninety at least nothing very notable about his preferred targets. In their most recent win, he didn't have Zay Jones, so he spread most of his one hundred and eighty one yards to tight end Evan Ingram. Wide receivers Calvin Ridley, Christian Kirk, none with big numbers. Kirk did score, Lawrence has.

Speaker 4

A shot right up Christian Kirk touchdown.

Speaker 2

New Orleans is top five and rating allowed to wide receivers top ten versus tight ends pressure rate in the mid thirties.

Speaker 3

That's solid.

Speaker 2

Carl Granderson bagged Stroud last week, has one in back to back games, leads the team now with four and a half.

Speaker 3

Well for them in the pocket. Oh stow it up by Granderson. All right.

Speaker 2

X factors the run games. Both teams have electric backs with subpar numbers facing top of the line run defenses. Travis Eten had a sub four yard per carry day versus the Colts. He's under four per run for the year facing a Saints defense holding backs to three point six a carry and Pearson the.

Speaker 5

Saints already he'll lose yard and Granderson got there first.

Speaker 3

What a game he's having.

Speaker 2

Alvin Kamara, he can be electric, but he's under four yards per carry two games in a row now. Jacksonville's defense versus running backs just three point four yards per carry allowed, So advantage defense here again.

Speaker 5

They keep it on the cord tier and it was smooth able to get there as Moss is buried.

Speaker 2

This may not be a track meet, but it's a good game between two teams that both really need that win. The Atlanta Falcons are on the road, losers of three of their last four. Now taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who have lost two of their last three. Maybe don't ever have Baker wear orange again? Doesn't matter what shade.

Speaker 5

Off a fake off of Pampa deflection at a pick it belongs to Detroit.

Speaker 2

Take off your rear view mirror, what's behind you doesn't matter. Falcons are three and three Bucks or three and two. Saints are three and three, so as expected, their Inner Division games carry extra weight in these parts. The top priority for Atlanta stop Baker Mayfield and Tampa's three wins. He has a rating over ninety four.

Speaker 15

Mayfield floating it for Palmer, but rookie Trey Palmer hauls it in for a bucket of your touchdown.

Speaker 2

In Tampa's two losses, he ended with the rating under seventy five. Last week was the bad Baker only two hundred and six yards passing zero tds a pick, just five point six yards per attempt.

Speaker 5

Mayfield gotta take a shot on Thord and short for Palmer second time that it's just a little bit too.

Speaker 3

Long for on it.

Speaker 2

While the Falcons were supposed to be a run centric team, the common denominator in their wins is also the play of their quarterback. In two of their three victories, Desmond Ridder's rate was one ten plus his three most productive outings all Atlanta wins.

Speaker 5

Fires, a beautiful strike and it's a big play in twenty eight yards.

Speaker 2

Conversely, in Atlanta's three losses, he struggled sub seventy one rates in each and his dud last week. Three picks. The third at the worst moment, Rhdder on the.

Speaker 5

Slave second Desmond Ridder with his third interception.

Speaker 3

Of the game.

Speaker 5

Atlanta had a couple of nice fourth quarter comebacks earlier this year, but this fourth quarter is one to forget.

Speaker 2

So which guy has the best shot to succeed this week? Ridder faces a Buccaneer secondary that got torched by Jared Goff. Gave up over three hundred and fifty yards to him two touchdowns, no picks, a rating near one to ten.

Speaker 5

Once it all Jamison Williams looking for the ball down it touchdown.

Speaker 2

Mayfield faces a Falcon secondary that gave up three touchdowns to Sam Howell. Not a lot of yards, but no INT's rating near one twenty owl over the pocket.

Speaker 3

Right, He's got a wide open man. That's Robinson Doctors ahead picks out the ten five touchdown.

Speaker 2

The Falcons had played quarterbacks tough ish before that game. They have to play wide receivers good this week too. They've allowed a ninety point six rating to w RS. That's middle of the pack. They tangle with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin this week. Evans was quiet with only four catches on ten targets. In Week six, godwins seventy seven yards versus the Lions.

Speaker 5

It's Godwin down to the thirty five of Detroit, twenty three yards to the six year veteran out of Penn State.

Speaker 2

The trench battle, Baker only sacked once, only hit four times. He's only been taken down five of all year.

Speaker 5

Mayfield climbing throwing deep. Good job leaping into the air

ATL TB

by Trey Palmer.

Speaker 2

The rookie Atlanta's pass rush had five sacks total before last week. Sacked Howl five times, hitting him ten. Kalaeiis Campbell, congrats on joining the century club and so again, and.

Speaker 5

Tony goes Canarada is number one hundred for Kalaias Campbell his one hundredth career sack.

Speaker 3

Where did the five sack outburst come from?

Speaker 5

No?

Speaker 2

One in the NFL has been bagged as often as howl, just as a footnote rider could be the chong to Howel's cheech, though he too understands the nuances of some of the finest grasses in the world, has taken over three sacks per game himself.

Speaker 3

Ridder in trouble Tony Goes.

Speaker 2

Campus defense is dealing with a passing attack that used all three pass catcher types last week. The wide receiver spot the most prominent Buck's secondary now on the wrong side of average when it comes to stopping wide receivers rate allowed ninety three point four. They couldn't handle Amanra Saint Brown, who they gave up twelve catches to one hundred and twenty four yards and a touchdown.

Speaker 5

Saint Brown has it needs to get to the fourteen yard.

Speaker 3

Line and he will.

Speaker 5

Greg Reynolds through the big block and Saint Brown works all the way downfield for the touchdown.

Speaker 2

Now they have to try and slow Drake, impossible on Spotify and hard to do on the gridiron. London caught nine of his twelve targets versus Washington one hundred and twenty five yards to take a shot for.

Speaker 3

London and London. London fighting for it is good.

Speaker 2

White out mac Follins is also a threat. Forty one yards for him week six. And how about tight end Kyle Pitts. He found the paint last week, let her pulls it.

Speaker 3

Out of the end zone for picks. Topstown.

Speaker 2

The Bucks the fifth lowest rate allowed to tight ends, for what that's worth. Running back Jean Robinson forty three yards receiving last week, but another ho hum game running it. He's been three point three yards per carry or under in three of their last four two point eight last week.

Speaker 3

Atlanta's run game is sputtered. As of late, Robinson is stacked up.

Speaker 2

Tampa Bay's run game used to the hoe in the hum Rashad White three point seven of carry versus Detroit. He's been under four per run in four of their five games. A lot is on the line in this contest. Indianapolis Colts are at home this week in a bit of an hour never game versus the Cleveland Browns, who feel a lot like those bandidos from that old movie where's your offense?

Speaker 3

Offense?

Speaker 2

We ain't got no offense, we don't need no offense. We don't have to show you no stinking offense mode Let's see how about Browns didn't have their starting quarterback and the end of last week's game still resulted in joy for Browns players, fans, and especially their defense.

Speaker 11

Oh Wusu Cormoa got enough depth that he's able to elevate that ball.

Speaker 9

He just is able to get his hands on it. Well, party's lucky that wasn't a pick.

Speaker 2

Dog Pound is asking itself if the mighty vaunted San Francisco offense can't put up more than seventeen points on us, how in the world is a Gardner Minshew led Colts offense going to.

Speaker 5

Hurdy slaves it as intercepted Martin Everson has it.

Speaker 2

Yeah, Well, holding San Francisco without cmc and deebo at the end is one thing the Colts offense. Well, it's one of the offenses in the NFL. So stay in your lane, bro In reality check, Cleveland held Christian McCaffrey to under four yards of carry before he left hurt. Colt's best two offensive players are probably running backs. The Browns have held backs to three point eight to Carey.

Speaker 5

McCaffrey in trouble and he is stacked up and is gonna lose a couple of yards.

Speaker 2

Indy's oh powered in theory by Zach Moss and Jonathan Taylor. They combined for forty yards in Week six, neither guy hitting at even three point one a run when plays here.

Speaker 3

The sists Taylor and he's only able.

Speaker 2

To find the h They only had fifteen touches between him. They were chasing early versus Jacksonville, and that didn't vote well for Gardner Minshew. He looked very much like the real uncle who go throwing three I in teams.

Speaker 5

Dish, fresheted downs, robbing pass intercepted.

Speaker 2

Throwing the ball on Cleveland is not how you want to try and move the ball either, especially if you don't have a run game. Keeping them honest. Browns DB's holding QBS to a low seventies rate now made Brock Purty look like.

Speaker 3

A dude who went last in the NFL draft.

Speaker 2

Held the league's rating, king to a mid fifties rating just four point six yards per attempt, allowed only one hundred and twenty five yards.

Speaker 11

Really nice job, well time Denzel war got there just as that ball got to Ayu.

Speaker 2

Minshew will have to perform under pressure, and he does have a mid eighties rating versus four or more pass rushers. Brown's with one of the highest blitz rates in the NFL.

Speaker 3

He gets the snappy quitcher. My dog that that sec head time it's going to run out on the Tennessee Titan.

Speaker 2

The Colts face an uphill climb to Bob Rossland. Cleveland could too, depending on whether Deshaun Watson's shoulder is better. PJ Walker filled last week no touchdowns two iron t's rating under fifty, but the only drive that mattered was his last four matter rush.

Speaker 5

Walker taps at Rose in ear shot, first out David Bell.

CLE IND

Speaker 2

Still, the Browns would love to have Watson back this week. Whoever the QB is, We'll have Amari Cooper to work with. He had one hundred and eight yards with Walker throwing to him against San Francisco's star stud of defense.

Speaker 3

Here's Walker, he has some time, gonna lost it up. Cooper's wide open. He's got it. Fix the ball Cooper foot race.

Speaker 2

He seems like you could have another big game. Being the Colts have allowed a ninety nine rating to wide outs in twenty twenty three.

Speaker 5

It' pooka nakooa in overtime.

Speaker 2

Indianapolis's secondary wasn't terrible. Versus Trevor Lawrence last week, though picked him off, held him just one hundred and eighty one yards hiss.

Speaker 4

Past his intercepting and Juju Brinks was.

Speaker 8

There to pounce.

Speaker 2

The Colts played the pass well enough, played the run well enough, held the Jaguars to four for fourteen on third down. They're feeling like shaggy thirty seven points on the counter.

Speaker 3

Wasn't mean it's feeling the pressure, just flakes it near, said boy that was nearly picked.

Speaker 2

Colts also held Travis Etien to three point one to carry Jacksonville to two point nine a run, and that wasn't a flu holding running backs to three point six a carry for the season.

Speaker 8

Et It is ripped down behind the line of scrimmage.

Speaker 2

Browns will want to lean on their run game plenty, no matter who's behind center. Jerome Ford eighty four yards versus a tough San Francisco front four point nine to carry Kareem Hunt scored. The Browns went for one hundred and sixty rush yards versus San Francisco four point seven per Gotta flip the two.

Speaker 1

Hunt.

Speaker 3

It's got blocks breave Hunt all the way touchdown.

Speaker 2

Cleveland Browns are starting to believe the Colts facing a season that will require a lot of Minshew magic. He's the modern day fits magic, so don't count anything out. The New York Giants are at home week seven, not much time left for them if they want to turn things around. Wait, sorry, is time a sensitive subject. G Man taking on Inner Division rival Washington. The Commanders climbing back to the five hundred mark last week rhetor on the slave sented Washington three and three on the year.

Losses to Philadelphia, Buffalo, and Chicago. That's the one that doesn't fit because they've taken care of their mid or basic opponents so far. Wins over Arizona Denver last week, Atlanta.

Speaker 3

Fake to Gibson and rocks it in for a touchdown, or the Giants amid team. I don't know.

Speaker 2

Washington doesn't have some magical formula they used to beat their meddling opponents. Just finish the game with more points, doesn't matter how one game it might be. Their quarterback Sam Howell leading the way. He threw three touchdowns last week. No INT's rating near one twenty.

Speaker 3

He's got a wide open man.

Speaker 5

That's Robinson Puckers ahead Hickside the ten time touchdown.

Speaker 2

But they've won a game when he struggled. Another game, it might be their defense locking up the opposing quarterback. They did that last week too, picked off Desmond Ritter three times, held him to a rating under seventy suspparently gets it off Rhyder sucks. They've also won a game when the opposing quarterback plays well.

Speaker 3

Though. The point is they've done just enough.

Speaker 2

To pull out three victories. New York, on the other hand, hasn't.

Speaker 13

Taylor over the top to Waller, can't it in and the Bills win?

Speaker 2

Giants stuck on one win still, they don't come into this game just matt at the refs. They're just as mad at themselves. See, there's this little hand and a big hand on a clock and a really skinny hand that you should pay especially close attention to Barkley.

Speaker 13

He's trying to leve he's nothing to get there. Can they get it down? I don't think so. Giants try to get on the ball, they can't. And that's a terrible, terrible clock management.

Speaker 2

And that Mallory would tell you that's how you get Ants, and that's how you become the lowest scoring team in the NFL. Yes, even New England's offense has passed the Giants by They sit at just eleven point eight points per game.

Speaker 3

Keller, try to escape, it'll be sacked.

Speaker 2

They do have a chance to to dabble in the paint a little more this week in theory. At least Washington's defense giving up twenty nine point three a game. Only two teams have allowed more points than them.

Speaker 3

Touch dd jay more. Oh yeah, well, look next door Washington.

Speaker 2

That's New York's defense right next to you, giving up twenty seven point eight per contest.

Speaker 8

Sires are dark in the.

Speaker 3

Back of the end ZZJK touchdown say Hawks.

Speaker 2

Giants and Commander's defense has both played better than their season totals. Last week, Washington played the run much better. They've given up four point five a carry on the year, but they held Jean Robinson and Tyler Algier under four yards per run.

Speaker 4

Slips, the tackle gets in the backfield, disrupts his play immediately.

WAS NYG

Speaker 3

Tyler tier had nowhere to go on that one.

Speaker 2

Can they keep that going? New York got saquon back week six. Barkley ran for ninety three yards broke off a thirty four yarder, so he's feeling better.

Speaker 13

Took a secondary Barkley fount into the outside say Barkley.

Speaker 2

Washington's play versus Ritter also better compared to their season numbers, And it's the Commander's pass rush that could really impact this game. They're tied for fifth most sacks in the NFL H.

Speaker 3

Two.

Speaker 2

Couple their pass rush with this Giants QB's thirty three sacks taken. Only one team has taken.

Speaker 3

More tay that pressure. If she's coming down, the.

Speaker 2

One team, by the way, will be on the field with New York. So it's like a Jay and Silent Bob reunion, or Harold and Kumar, Cheech and Chong.

Speaker 3

Take your pick. Rare two grass experts are together at.

Speaker 2

The same time. But Howl took five more sacks last week, so he knows the green.

Speaker 3

Stuff better than anybody. How in trouble.

Speaker 2

Can the Giants take advantage of that? Howell took five sacks in one game. They have five sacks for the entire season, which is why they've struggled to slow quarterbacks.

Speaker 3

That was maybe the strangest touchdown I've ever seen. Hollywood Brown just broke the plate and stopped on the golas slow Howel.

Speaker 2

New York has to slow down two guys, primarily both wideouts, Curtis Samuel forty two yards week six forty to sixty five yards and five of their six games, howel over the.

Speaker 3

Middle and Samuel reaching back, he's got it.

Speaker 2

And then there's Terry McLaurin.

Speaker 3

Powell rolling right throws on the run the McLaurin, he's got him. At the twenty five.

Speaker 2

Giants secondary played Josh Allen tough enough in their tough luck loss.

Speaker 14

I don't think I could have imagined this defense coming out and dominating this first half the way that they have.

Speaker 2

But they did give up one hundred yards to Stefan Diggs and they've allowed a one oh seven point nine rate to wide receivers only four teams worse.

Speaker 3

Alan Crow Diggs catching to the thirty six.

Speaker 2

Yard Los Giants passing attack the big X factor to Rod Taylor filled in for Daniel Jones versus Buffalo two hundred yards passing just five point six yards per attempt, no touchdowns, low eighties rating, nothing special.

Speaker 13

This is a Giant offense that has not scored a touchdown in two hundred and three minutes.

Speaker 3

And forty seconds.

Speaker 2

Slayton at least hauled in sixty nine yards. Wondale Robinson sixty.

Speaker 13

Two brought Taylor Baan to work, discipluted to Wondale Robinson of.

Speaker 2

Sub space, and Washington did struggle with Drake London gave up over one hundred and twenty yards to him. And they've been worse than New York against wide receivers. They've given up a one to ten point one rate to the position. Only two teams were whimses.

Speaker 3

Are sent to fifteen ten five touchdown.

Speaker 2

Denver rivalry NFC style. It's been a wacky year already, so no telling what could happen.
