NFL Weekly Game Previews: Week 12

NFL Game Deview is a production of the NFL in partnership with iHeartRadio.

This is NFL Game Previews, and I'm game preview guy here with in depth primers on every single game that's going to be played this week. No two teams have ever played on Thanksgiving Day as often as these two have, both teams coming in off wins of the last second variety, full bat rush.

Saint Brown's low in a game fifty sixty yards and he's scored in that game, second most receptions per game in the NFL, top five yards per game. He's the centerpiece to their aerial attack.

Goff also relies a lot on Titan Samuel Porta. He was quiet last week, and on running back Jamior Gibbs fifty nine yards receiving Week eleven.

The Fins Green Bay held running back Austin Eckler to six receiving yards on three targets in their most recent win. That hasn't been a problem for them in general. They did give up one hundred and eight yards and a TD to LA's tight ends, though that position has been a problem for them. They've allowed a ninety nine point two rating to the position for the season.

Their secondary was beat up, and still their defense is holding wide outs to a sub ninety rate for the season. Green Bay's defense over the last six games holding teams to seventeen point six per contest.

They have to gear up plenty for Detroit runs too. The Lions went for five point two a carry versus Chicago David Montgomery seventy six yards six point three a run in a TD back to back games with over six per carry, and.

Montgomery doing it again. This is the game that David Montgomery's been waiting for.

Gibbs thirty six yards rushing four point five, a scamper and a score four point five are better, and seven of his eight games played.

As they hand to Gibbs and Gibbs breaks it touchdown one a night for the rookie.

Those impressive ground numbers put up versus the league's number one rush defense versus running backs. Packers, on the other hand, giving up four point one a carry to backs not great. Gave up four point six a carry to Austin Eckler last week.

That's what Green Bay's own run game took a hit when they lost Aaron Jones again. Their best run last week was a wide receiver sweep. Packers run game has not factored often this year, which makes Jordan Love's most recent outing that much more impressive. Twenty seven to forty last week, three hundred and twenty two yards over eight yards per attempt, two tds. No picks are rating near one ten.

Wide receivers last week held them under eighty five yards combined, holding white outs to a sub ninety rate, and twenty twenty three have ten I in t's versus that position most in the NFL.
