It’s the reason you got divorced, it’s why you can’t go to your friend and reconcile your relationship, it’s why you and your kid (or maybe your mom) haven’t talked in years. We’ve got to learn how to combat and address this deadly sin called pride. In the culture that we live in, we often hear that you have to put yourself first and work hard to get rid of low self-esteem. But the Bible has a very different view of pride. Every sin that you have ever or will ever commit is birthed out of a place of pride. And if that’s true, it makes sense to find out what it is and how we can move away from this most deadly sin.
