"Loving Enough to Speak Truth"--Scripture can help us to correct others, encourage them, and teach them--but the truth must be spoken with love.
We look at the importance of the decisions and direction in our lives. Just longing or intending to have a better marriage, grow closer to Christ, share the gospel, read the Bible, etc., isn’t enough—we need a plan. That’s the way we’ll take steps, by God’s grace, to grow in the areas of life that would give God glory and us pleasure. Parents, be sure to start teaching these biblical truths to your children. Direction, not intention, determines destination.
Facing Life's Tragedies
a look at parenting and how we can invest in raising our children in a way that brings them (and us) joy and God glory. If your kids are all grown or you don’t have kids, this is still going to be very meaningful, as we hear what God’s word says about directing and raising our children with our friends and family.
