Episode description

A psychiatrist has been challenged over her assessment of Lauren Dickason. Lauren Dickason is the South African mother accused of murdering her three daughters in Timaru. She has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity or infanticide. Simone McLeavey works out of Hillmorton Hospital, where the accused was first held. She was asked by the Court to assess Lauren Dickason's mental state and last week told the court that Dickason had no delusional symptoms.
