Breaking: Ghahraman resigns - Greens leadership responds

After days of silence, the Green MP Golriz Ghahraman has resigned as an MP amid allegations of shoplifting. In a statement, she said it had become clear to her that the stress of the job had resulted in her behaving in ways that were completely out of character. She says she wasn’t trying to excuse her behaviour but to explain it.
