Episode description

On this Sunday’s Edition of News You Can Use on WTIC
NewsTalk 1080 at 5:30a and 9:00a, host Ann Baldwin invites Mike
Craycraft, testicular cancer survivor and founder of the Testicular
Cancer Society to join the program to raise awareness and
emphasize the importance of early detection. Ann also shares her
personal story of losing her 29-year old
nephew to testicular cancer recently and why
too many young men are falling victim to this
disease when it is easily preventable.
By utilizing Mike’s expert insight, we are able
to discuss the risk factors, resources and
treatments, and stories of how testicular
cancer affects the lives of thousands
throughout the country each year. From self
examinations to regularly scheduled check-ups, the key is early
detection, especially for young men.
