On this Sunday’s Edition of News You Can Use on WTIC NewsTalk 1080 at
5:30a and 9:00a, host Ann Baldwin invites Dr. Anthony Gasper,
Superintendent of New Britain Schools to discuss “a day in the life” of a
Superintendent.
Dr. Gasper has 26 years of experience
in public education throughout the
state of Connecticut and knows just
how to prioritize the most important
aspects of education to best benefit the
9,700 students in his district.
As Dr. Gasper is approaching the end
of his first full year at New Britain
Schools, he shares his goal to be a beacon for public urban education in
the state regardless of how long it takes. He understands that in order to
truly transform New Britain he will need to take a look at the city’s public
education from an operational and educational point of view to continue
making the necessary changes to improve New Britain public schools
