On this Sunday’s edition of News You Can Use on WTIC Newstalk 1080 at 5:30 AM and 9:00 AM, host Ann Baldwin is joined by former CT news broadcaster turned musician, John Roll. John’s love for music came at a young age and was rekindled after his retirement from the news industry in 2022 when he began writing new songs with his now late wife, Paula . In addition to the many songs written and composed together prior to 2024, John continues to use one of Paula’s old notebooks full of song ideas and lyrics to help continue her legacy! Today, John has been traveling to Nashville to record three songs utilizing the talents of 7 world class musicians and 5 award winning vocalists.
