Episode 08: Feat. Melisa Cardona - Precision Surgery, Simulation Software & 3D Printing

This week we interviewed Melisa Cardona from Columbia who holds degrees in both biomedical and mechanical engineering on her work in the health sector specifically in relation to biomedical research.  

Working with Materialize and Techfit she has experience working with 3D printed prothestics, and in the process of creating patient-specific implants to advance surgical planning which she believes will revolutionize the way surgery is conducted.
