We were talking off Mike, I thought they did good this year, Like I actually thoroughly enjoyed the Grammys with from performances to winners or whatever, because that doesn't necessarily matter too much to me. But I thought they put on a pretty good show for where award shows are at these days, I thought they did well. And I almost feel like the energy around Grammy Weekend this year was higher. And I don't know if that's my algorithm or just everyone I know was in LA for it, but it.

Was definitely different.

I don't know, it just felt like the Grammys cared more this year about the presentation and the whole weekend. But I could be off. That's just my perception.

There were a lot of blacks nominated this year, and I think.

Is that the energy is that the shift that you were feeling?

Maybe no, for there were a lot of black people nominated this year, and I think that that when that happens, there is a different energy that we see because our algorithms and our connections and who we know.

Like, yeah, there was a little bit of a different energy.

We were nominated in a lot of big categories this year, which a lot of the times what the Grammys doesn't happen.

So what did you think overall? Before we start breaking down, I thought it was performances.

I thought it was cool. There was a few artists that I thought would win that didn't. Some artists that won that I didn't think would. You know, both goes both ways, But I think overall the vibe was cool. I think it was definitely a you know, a little better than it's been in the previous years. And again it may be to what Damaras are saying, maybe certain

It just felt more balanced and not like in the way the NFL puts like n racism in the end zone or like tries to make it more of a marketing thing of what It just felt like a good balance of every genre of music and who should actually be nominated.

There was something for everybody this year.

And that's not even like an ad for the Grammys because we've shoped on the Grammys constantly. I just felt like this year they got it right. The best way that they.

I think we've talked about for the last few years that award shows. Obviously, their ratings are plummeting because there's so much other stuff to do. I liked that they tried to revamp it in a music way. The new artist versus I thought was cool, and of course I'm coining that myself, but everyone that was nominated for Best New Artists did a medley of their own songs together as one performance.

I like that one.

I think that's dope just to highlight all the next talent and even if you weren't a winner, you got to perform at the Grammys as the Best New Artist. And it allows us as the viewers that want to debate and be idiots on a microphone to say, yo, who got who? Like I thought, it was the perfect way to try to pivot with what's going on on the internet for an award show.
