Jamila Rizvi is an author, CEO, gender equality activist, public speaker and podcast host.  But above all else – she is a mother.  One who faced an incredibly tough battle with a brain tumour very early on in her own journey of motherhood.  In this episode Jam speaks with unfiltered honesty about the doubts she had about motherhood, the tough early days, dealing with her diagnosis while parenting a young child, and ultimately discovering that despite all her achievements – all would pale in comparison to her experience of mothering her son, Rafi.
