Under Authority : Week 4 - The Consequences of Disobedience Part 2

Christianity is often categorised as a religion. However, it is a way of living. When we live this life we have a choice: either we follow our own path or the path God has set for us. 

Following God's path is not easy and never has been. When we arrive at the crossroads of life, we have the choice of choosing what is right or wrong, there is no in-between or middle ground. 

Disobedience to God is a fulfilment of our own desires, where we exalt ourselves and our needs higher than God and in turn rebel against Him. The idea of doing what is right, what is good, what is acceptable comes from our own human understanding. 

So, are we rebelling against God when we do what we think is right? Are we living in bondage when we do as we please? How does disobeying God affect our walk with Him?
