The way we treat our leaders directly indicates how we look at God. When we honour authority that is ordained by Him, we reciprocate our honour to God as well. It doesn't matter if our leaders are in the wrong, we honour the position and not the person. It is not our place to judge our leaders. God, who placed them in that position will also deal with their wrongdoing.
